The game is much better now with the latest build. A lot of the issues of the first release have been solved and now it is already possible to say that the devs are on the right way to make this game the best kart simulator. At this stage it is already in my opinion, some degress above than the Automobilista, rfactor2 and pCars2 karts.
@@SimRacing604 Yes, they are in permanent contact with the community by the discord and I have no doubt this will be the best kart simulator on the market.
@@natespear6779 ...You know, 2 years later I'm actually here wondering how it'd be like to throw a banana while seated on my tony kart. Bring on the mods
Ten years ago I was competing as a rotax max entrant at the UAE national championship in the Arab Emirates. Now I work in Paris and no more kart racing. This video makes me feel soooo nostalgic, makes me think of when I was with my dad in the pits trying to fix the goddam kart (because there always is a problem on a kart). I achieved two 3rd places that year. I had a 2005 Arrow chassis with a 125 senior Max engine. I was competing in the 24h races events in Dubai too. My first impression about this game here is the realism and the "feel". It feels incredibly realistic and it is by far the most thrilling videogame adaptation of kart racing I have seen yet. Gran Turismo, Toca Race Driver, rFactor, Assetto, these games adapted kart racing to gaming and it systematically was catastrophic. The sound, the physics, everything was aweful. Now I am looking forward to play this game. I wonder now if the acceleration feels real (sloppy and slow at low regime, then brutal acceleration as you build up regime), I wonder if we can open up the engine and change stuff like jets, or decide how you want your fuel / racing oil mix done, or decide which sproket size is the best, maybe we can play around with the Mychron too... Maybe the pit ambiance is realistic, with kids and adults roaming around, fixing their stuff, speaking to each other. I am dreaming now I guess haha. Man, in this video the steering wheel grip feels so much real I want to put my hand in the screen to grab it :) Anyway, looks like an excellent game I will surely put my hands on.
Yeah its bogging on low rpm and you have to hold nice lines to have the momentum upp. If you brake to hard in corners it takrs time to build rpm again. Its wery real fealing on that part. Its awsome
I'm a 125cc shifter kart racer, so really looking forward to those getting into the game. Won't buy before they do, but the game looks promising so far
I heard that the wheel support is very limited at this point. I'm waiting to see someone with a entry level gear like me (g920) before i pull the trigger. Graphics looks amazing, tho.
Using G29 (920 should work as well?) with lastest update to bash around the track. Also VR support works, even I use a bit of a hack VR setup (Riftcat + VRidge & Samsung Gear VR + Samsung S9+)... Look for my channel for a few samples...
hey, i was one of the head beta testers for a few years on this title, if you have any questions regarding this game id love to help as the nda is lifted :)
Hey Mike, Great Video as always. can you elaborate on where you got the info about triple screen support ? it's just the Devs are not answering that question publicly or where i can see anyhow (",)
Unfortunately not yet. They do have console release plans, but they’ve let the date slip. They were supposed to have it completed in 2019. I’m guessing they’ll have v1.0 out for PC this year, then assess sales and see if bringing it to console if financially viable
Lol got this game yesterday for training (kart races are postponed so I’m bored) and then when I played it I realised my pc is absolute shite for gaming (i3 cpu and intel family graphics card) so I’m either gonna get a new pc (which I probably won’t) or new cpu and graphics card
@@kolysion164 I didnt talk about the Rfactor 2 mods tracks, but the tracks that became with the sim, like Silverstone as a example. It is a joke compared to Assetto Corsa Silverstone. Ruins the entire point of the simulation. But I can see you are just a fanboy of Rfactor 2 and Kart Sim.
I know this is old. But people have been talking about multiplayer for a long time. Still in 2020 nothing! The AI think its bumper cars and dont react properly. I'm quite disappointed.

Fernando Capel I agree. They’ve done great work with the latest build. It’s great to see their commitment.

Leynad Jee I blame the driver. I suck at karting.
@@SimRacing604 You gotta tighten the loose nut behind the wheel!
Pcars2 karts suck
Glad there will be modding. I wanna drop bannanas and throw shells for real.
bobbavet now you’re talking!!!
Ugh, I'm tired of these stereotypes. Karts are serious racing machines, not some toys in an unrealistic videogame.

Great video dude. I personally welcome the introduction of motion sickness simulation.

They said on steam that they were developing the shifter karts.
I love this sim. Finally a karting sim that feels great in VR too. Cant wait for it to be more complete and to get multiplayer
It won't let me load vr
arcade game actually
no seatbelts no buy. LOL! Just kidding, a great looking sim.
Tim datoolman 😂😂😂 not you too Tim, hahaha. That saying plagues me, lol.
Seatbelts are actually dangerous in a kart.
The wrists.
When you said these karts are awesome. I drive an x30 and I can confirm in real life there also awesome
sick, I had a shifter 125 c.c. , graphics are great can wait to race online

Gabriel Luis it’s definitely limited at this point, but it doesn’t ruin the experience in my opinion. I just manually mapped my inputs.

I've seen lot of persons having another data logger(mychron 5) how can i select the data logger ingame?
Hello. How to remove the names of the runners that are on top of the car during the race? Thanks!
On the fence lol, I'm funny with feel, physics, ffb
That game is actualy older than me.

What platforms will it be available on?
Ps4/xbox/pc 👍🏻
This game looks fantastic, however I really want them to fix the wrist motion when turning, it looks terrible and they need to change it...
great review! I am loving it also.
Can you play it on controller?
Do we know when we get the multiplayer ?
Just wondering how difficult this game is ?

Not their fault, but UE4 has no triple support. Anyway VR and single screen works fine
