- In this video I review and breakdown The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Episode 1. In my last walking dead video I tried to predict what would happen in this episode, and in this video i got over some of the things I predicted correctly and incorrectly. As well as go over how I felt about everything in the episode.

The boat from THD finale was a flashback during Rick’s 3rd escape attempt. We see that boat a couple years later after it drifted and washed up near Virgil’s home and that is where Michonne found the cell phone and the log showing that it’s last port was in NJ at Bridgers something.
You are 100% correct. I talked a bit about that in one of my older videos, but forgot to actually explain it in this video.

I watched E1 of Ones but would like more backstory… but I’ve seen horrible reviews of Beyond!
It's not necessary to watch world beyond, as episode 1of ones who live gives just enough context (in my opinion.) I heard world beyond was pretty boring and uninteresting so if you don't like it, you can always just watch a youtube recap of it!

The writers took a dump on an awesome concept. Have these writers never heard of using subtext and having too much exposition? This should have been a season final not a pilot. I want to be positive about this but they fast-forward through several character arcs. They needed to SHOW US over a season not TELL US in one episode. This was so rushed it was painful. Who approved this? Anyone with half a brain could have looking at the scripts and scene that the pacing was way off. I just can't believe they didn't show us what happened to him all these years. Well they kind of did but it was done terribly with too much exposition and time cuts instead of actually you know... making a television show instead of a glorified recap.

This show is so cheesy and garbage…. Rick chops his hand with no real plan… the guy was like 50ft away and he thought he could escape after cutting his hand off LMFAO. And I wouldn’t be mad if the wire attached to his hand was thick but it was so thin, there was no way that he couldn’t cut through it. Again LMFAO! There was scenes that didn’t even need to be in there also. Twd was prime 1-5 seasons
That is completely fair and I respect your opinion.
You can pick apart anything to that degree and ruin it, I can do the same for the first 5 seasons of the original show. You’ll never enjoy anything if you’re always doing that tho.
