Last time I was in Vegas I took about 1200 for four days. And I came home with most of that. We ate at one buffet, fast food, a little shopping bc I didnt have much room my luggage. And I may have had 1/2 drinks. I don't really drink. And we got the 3 day bus ticket to go up and down the strip. We went on a tour but it was included in the room cost. I wouldn't do another tour it took too long. And stayed at planet fitness. Oh we did gamble but I'm also not a gambler. I maybe used $50 on machines.I think $100 a day is fine if you are like me.
I recommend using the bus, it goes through the strip to Fremont street. It's slow due to traffic but you get to see everything & get the 24 hr. Pass for much less then $10 & you can hop on & off at will.
This is a good vid. I think a lot of people get caught up in the I got to do everything while im here attitude and then they go broke within two days of being in Vegas. Def pace yourself. And remember you can always come back at a later date.

Me and the wife going to Vegas in March. You absolutely have to set a budget unless you got ends like that. We shop around for deals 3-4 months out; got out flight, hotel, and rent a car for under $900 for a 5 day stay. This will be our 3rd time to Vegas. Soon as we land we get car and drive straight to Walmart and get some bottles. Not much of a gambler but we budget 1 day for gambling, it’s more about the shows for us not to mention the food.
Same for us on flight hotel car for 4days. We don’t drink but we do hit it dispensary and eating good (not expensive) food. I’m budgeting about $800 to spend on all that. With a lil gambling.
Always knowledgeable vid bro. I usually stay a week and my budget is a thousand. I don't gamble throughout maybe 3 days. I get free buffet offers, i check in alcholol in my check in bag on my flight so that's good as well. Them prices for booze is INSANE!!! Keep up the good work bro!
Anthony Smith Thanks man, appreciate your support bro. The liquor prices are definitely through the roof. And checking in alcohol in your bags is very smart, I do the same thing. For a weeks stay, I would say that a budget of 1k is ideal
Went to Vegas for my 21st birthday, saved for it for about 3 months and here was my budget: ~$300/day for drinks ~$300/day for gambling ~$200/day activities & food. If you plan on doing specific activities, throw that onto your total cost. My cost for a good weekend was $1,500+. Biggest tip I could say would be to PLAN AHEAD. $100-200 a check over a few months is easier than being in the hole on your credit card.

Awesome vid, going there for my 21st next month for 3 or 4 nights. Gonna bring between 500-700 $$ for food, and minimal gambling. Going to be bringing drinks from down here in Socal! Cheers.
I was in Vegas three years ago for the first time and i will come back in spring next year. We are just thinking about flights and hotel so i just found your channel and those numbers match my spendings on the first trip pretty good. We fly in from Germany so the flight alone is pretty expansive, thats only worth it if you do use your time and spend the money on the things you really wanna do. I did spent about 1600€ (maybe 1800$) in seven days, so little more than 200 a day but we really did not look after money. We did everything we wanted to do. That included a lot of Poker for me, some shows, a lot of alcohol and a 200$ night in a stripclub. Obviously we did not eat at the most expansive places but not just cheap street food either. We bought a bottle of whiskey in a store and had some in our hotel rooms in one night and had nice cocktails at the hotel bar the other night. I would say a good mix of cheap and expansive stuff. So i think if you gambel but not at high roller places and your living an average persons lifestile 200$ a day will be a good estimate.
machtharry well stated. As long as you're not looking to do everything on a 5 star level, $200/day will certainly allow you to have an enjoyable Vegas experience.
You can use the free trams on the strip for short rides to different hotels, the monorail is fairly priced $5 daily or multi-day passes to get further up and down the strip, the the loop shuttle and the bus to get to Fremont which all are reasonable as well.

There is very few places that would have this and Main Station is one of them. Gambling is for entertainment only and I have been very fortunate to be on the winning side, but if not, it is the expense of recreation in my budget. i’m going for 2 days with my boyfriend and i know he wants to drink and gamble mostly since i’m on a heavy budget i’m only allowing myself to spend 350
Great advice on the uber. We went to Vegas about ten years ago and took a taxi to Freemont and cost us 40.00 there and another 40.00 back. Going back this summer and I will use uber if it's only about 15.00

Tour the strip, but playing slots is tough. Casino Royal is a cheaper venue & OYO casino on the strip is ok. I suggest Fremont street for a better slots & cheaper food. Lots of fun at casino royale with the old Coin style slots. Evel Pie pizza & hot dogs at Fremont cafe 👍

So low compared to what I’m used to. Wondering if there’s a big difference in price vs Los Angeles and Vegas. If they’re similar or the same I wouldn’t be shocked by the prices.

Sandwich and fries while in Vegas ?😂 can you list the restaurant that charges 10-15 for a meal besides burger king ? People go to Vegas for the experience ! I go to vegas and I gladly spend 50+ dollars for a meal at the Wicked Spoon and am happy , I go for a week and I spend roughly 4-5k overall. Including hotel and fare and I do not gamble
Jose Juarez it all depends on where you eat. Wicked Spoon is one of the most popular buffets in Vegas, at one of the most expensive hotels in Vegas. Dinner prices especially Fri and Sat nights are high. I just finished staying at LinQ, and Hash House a Go Go had a menu under $15. There are plenty of other smaller name restaurants in other hotels that have this type of pricing. I've been in Vegas numerous times for a week, never spent $4k including flight and hotel, and I gamble. Everyone's money situation is different, which is why I based the numbers in this video on an affordable salary range.
There are some spots with cheap drinks on the strip - Casino Royale & Stage Door. Downtown gives the best bang for the buck for souvenirs, drinks, and gambling.
Going to Vegas in June I'm putting money to the side now I'll have at lest 6000 to 7000 saved by the time I go. Was wondering what the best place to rent a car in Las Vegas
As far as booze, get off strip and Google “Liquor Stores” Las Vegas” and act accordingly. I highly recommend ABC Stores for Soda and Water, also a good place for high quality Vegas stuff. With buffets pretty much gone for now, I would recommend Ellis Island, behind Bally’s, for some excellent coffee shop offerings, along with the coffee shop at Silver Sevens. The restaurant inside El Cortez downtown has some excellent offerings as well. I normally gamble about $250 to $500 a day. I refuse to play slots on the Strip; I play Video Poker and bet sports. If I go cold, I stop and go do something else.
maggie cray I actually just did a price comparison about a month ago on this. For Crown Royal and Jack Daniels, we found it about $3-$5 cheaper to buy it from Walgreens and CVS instead of from the airport. Not sure if this will apply for all liquors, but it was the case for those two.
how much money you need really depends on what you want to do and how long you are there. if you gamble bring more (or less) I typically need 400 a day no matter where I vacation too and I don't set a budget I cant afford. no point in going on a "vacation" if your going to stress about money the whole point is to enjoy yourself
You're being very nice in this video.. Realistically you need 150$ a day for each person. Good food is gonna cost at least 30$ I dont gamble at all so if you do gamble add 60 more.
Henye Suave not necessarily, i went for 2 days and took 250$ that lasted me for in n out, buffet, couple drinks and some rounds of 21... its allabout pacing and self control. I guess i did win a couple hundred $ to keep me goin so that might be why, but it was fun
You can eat cheap if you know where to go. Hit an In N Out for a meal, do a breakfast sandwich at an Earl of Sandwich type place and then dinner at an off strip buffet or Ellis Island/Silver 7's and you can do all three under $35 a day.
Just as an update as of 01/09/2019 if you use Uber the UberX ride is normally only about $0.50 more and be ready to go because one will always get to you in 3 min. A ride was 7.00 average and I took one from Henderson to Westgate for about $19.00
Just got back, think of it like this. 2 slices of pizza, $12. 12oz hotel coffee, $5.00. $10 bottle of wine in Veags, $40. They fuck you left and right there. Alcohol and food alone could run you over $300 easily for 2-3 days and thats without gambling and entertainment. The strip will fuck you. Try to find a CVS or something like for snacks and alcohol. Surprisingly, the dispenseries (Reef is good) were actually reasonable out there. Its not even worth it anymore. Take Uber and Lyft (like he said) and fuck the taxis - they charge over twice to three times what Uber does.
This video is pretty accurate I just went for four days three nights I took 3500 so I could do what ever I wanted turns out not including gambling I spent about 220 a day + or - a few bucks and was able to have a great time.
I'm coming in October 2019 staying at Trump I hear there a buses as when I was in Las Vegas in 2016 taxis were so expensive and took us the long way to and from the airport what buses can I get near Trump and at what price coming from Australia I would like to know what pricing is ad well as uber and left could someone help me with this please thank you
Tanya Collier avoid Taxis at all costs! Use rideshare (Uber/Lyft) to get around. From McCarran (LAS airport) to Trump hotel should be ~$16 USD. As far as buses, there's the Deuce bus that goes up and down the strip. It's $8 USD for a 24 hour pass, and stops at just about every hotel on the strip. So if you're not in a rush, the Deuce will be good to travel on the strip if you don't want to walk. Otherwise, use rideshare, the average ride around the strip is ~$8-10 USD
George Go matos not too sure where you'll go for $10-12 on the strip unless you're going somewhere within a couple of hotels, but no matter where you go Uber/Lyft will always be cheaper. And I've never seen or heard of Uber/Lyft having a 20 min wait in Vegas.
DoubleTapLasVegas I agree with you, Vegas definitely isn't an ideal place to vacation on a budget. Unfortunately, everyone isn't in the position to go big and ball out as fun as that is. Just showing some love to the budget friendly vacationers :)
Completely agree but it helps to know what you plan on doing and how much it'll cost. Me, I gamble and drink so I set a large "budget" where I know I won't feel like I'm cheaping out
Mila Liudmila gimme an idea what you want to do, how much you want to drink, where you want to do it. There are too many variables to be that vague and get a straight answer.
I say 200 a day I dont gamble alot. And buffets pick one ok two.people 160 and one show 200. Everything else is sight seeing and us free for the most part so if you a couple 2000 u good after resort fee and airplane bag fees.by urself 1000 after fees and plan on one show and one expensive meal the rest of the time you chilling an gambling just enough on games that they dont suck out if u. video poker /slots at 25 cent and you can get three to four drinks on a 20 dollar are 25 dollar budget plus tip waitresses Have a plan an a budget an.stick to.it in vegas
Jason Kendrick That’s only if your being extra. You can get away with $1000-$1500 roughly. But I wouldn’t recommend going unless you have $1000 minimum.
Answer depends on a few things. 1, miserable tight skinflints could probably get away with $10 - 15 per day, this will be enough for a Big Mac, a couple of bottles of water and fuck all else......... no entertainment apart from people watching 2, a level higher would be $100 per day, enough for 2 Big Macs, 2 alcoholic drinks, 24 hour pass for Deuce Bus, this will let you get to Fremont St which will involve more people watching.......... bizarre people there. 3, over $200 per day, enjoy yourself, maybe eat something better than a Big Mac (what could be worse than those anyway), see a few attractions 4, over $300 per day, as number 3 and take in a show or have a gamble 5, over $400 per day, you'll have a ball 6, over $500 per day, get either a good lawyer or reserve a decent hospital bed............. my wife would either divorce me or try to kill me if she knew I had that amount of money to spend in Vegas!!!!
You keep saying avoid the Taxi cabs.. but you never say why? I take the safest transportation I can. With Uber you don't know who your getting a ride from because they never screen anyone. Your taking a risk when you get in an Uber car.
walleye364 I say to avoid Taxis because of the pricing. With Uber/Lyft you can read customer reviews from previous rides and see their rating and if it you don't like them, you can cancel the ride. But whether it's Taxis, Uber or Lyft, you never know who anyone is now a days.
I'd still rather use a cab than some one who can download the app on the phone and have no screening. Your basically getting into a strangers car who had no background check. From Bally's to Downtown it's approximately $23 for using a cab.
walleye364 you certainly are entitled to your opinion. Bally's to Downtown with Uber/Lyft is approximately $12 dollars, almost half the fare of a cab. Been using Ride share since it came to Vegas and I've never had a bad experience, or know of anyone who had a bad experience.

Where are the safest area in vegas off the strip and best resturants and attractions
There are some spots with cheap drinks on the strip - Casino Royale & Stage Door. Downtown gives the best bang for the buck for souvenirs, drinks, and gambling.
I plan on taking $6000 for four days. Is that enough?
Thank you bro your information was very helpful to me thank you
Juan Weigel anytime! Always happy to help
Thank you. Going in a week to Vegas Good tips
Great Video!!!
Todd Payne Thank you, greatly appreciated!
To get around the strip the monorail stops at quite a few hotels most of the way down the strip
is there anyway that you can do an up to date how much money do you need in las vegas 2018-2019
Lisa P the pricing in this video still applies going into 2019 :)
@@TheVegasParadise thanks for responding
Grab bottle from airport its cheaper than cvs and Walgreens an a way way better selection
maggie cray I actually just did a price comparison about a month ago on this. For Crown Royal and Jack Daniels, we found it about $3-$5 cheaper to buy it from Walgreens and CVS instead of from the airport. Not sure if this will apply for all liquors, but it was the case for those two.
Really?? Wow when i went it was better thanks for that
You talking about the place next to baggage?
Great info thanks mate
how much money you need really depends on what you want to do and how long you are there. if you gamble bring more (or less) I typically need 400 a day no matter where I vacation too and I don't set a budget I cant afford. no point in going on a "vacation" if your going to stress about money the whole point is to enjoy yourself
Yee BayArea agreed. You definitely shouldn't stress over money on vacation, that takes away from enjoying it.
Vegas is getting very expensive. The resort fees my oh my
Adriana M the resort fees certainly can add up
It's crazy I used to all time. Now it's so high. Hotel's don't even have fridge anymore. Do they still have Ice machine.
1 dollar beers at the place on the strip next to taco bell...1$ beers for ten years!
jon c i'm not a heavy beer drinker, but it's very hard to say no to a beer that's only a dollar
Thanks for the info
Thanks!
Farmboy1544 no problem! Happy to help.
You’re the man!!! Great video
Joseph Smith I greatly appreciate it, thank you!
I would bring 1500 for 4 days. Or budget out what you're gonna spend on and bring 500 in addition to that.
Thanks I cant wait to go again. Im going with a different crowd so maybe things will be different.
Henye Suave yea me neither its goin to be fun. Ive been saving all year long. Now i know what to expect
You can eat cheap if you know where to go. Hit an In N Out for a meal, do a breakfast sandwich at an Earl of Sandwich type place and then dinner at an off strip buffet or Ellis Island/Silver 7's and you can do all three under $35 a day.
Good stuff. Thanks
Kevin Mulligan Always happy to help. Thanks
Just as an update as of 01/09/2019 if you use Uber the UberX ride is normally only about $0.50 more and be ready to go because one will always get to you in 3 min. A ride was 7.00 average and I took one from Henderson to Westgate for about $19.00
The throwback shirt
@MikeU23 where it all started 😎
What are you saying is true!! Thanks!! 10 bucks for a beer or shot
Gern Blanston no problem!
Where the ho3z at! How much are they
I take 2k and the rest is comp and have a great old time
LoL I spent 6k in 5 days I kinda regret it
John Kevin Agron WOW 😮
Omg
John Kevin Agron I went for 4 days, stayed at Ceasars Palace and only managed to spend $1000 on my whole trip over there lol. Budget my friend.
Take taxi up and down 10 12 dollars up and down upper and Lyft got to wait 20 min and drivers are mess up
George Go matos not too sure where you'll go for $10-12 on the strip unless you're going somewhere within a couple of hotels, but no matter where you go Uber/Lyft will always be cheaper. And I've never seen or heard of Uber/Lyft having a 20 min wait in Vegas.
Going with 6 hotel and travel excluded, wish me luck.
great video
ROCKEMPOWERMENT thanks
If you are on a budget, just don't come to Vegas. Vegas is not the place to skimp on. Go big or stay home.
Me, I gamble and drink so I set a large "budget" where I know I won't feel like I'm cheaping out
Diogenes Bear Agreed
Mila Liudmila gimme an idea what you want to do, how much you want to drink, where you want to do it. There are too many variables to be that vague and get a straight answer.
Agree!!!!!!!!!!!
Should you rent a car in Vegas?
I say 200 a day I dont gamble alot. And buffets pick one ok two.people 160 and one show 200. Everything else is sight seeing and us free for the most part so if you a couple 2000 u good after resort fee and airplane bag fees.by urself 1000 after fees and plan on one show and one expensive meal the rest of the time you chilling an gambling just enough on games that they dont suck out if u. video poker /slots at 25 cent and you can get three to four drinks on a 20 dollar are 25 dollar budget plus tip waitresses Have a plan an a budget an.stick to.it in vegas
Great video. Vegas is getting crazy expensive overall IMO.
Haroof Thank you! Vegas prices are definitely much more expensive than they were a few years ago
I say 4 grand for the weekend minimum!!
Jason Kendrick That’s only if your being extra. You can get away with $1000-$1500 roughly. But I wouldn’t recommend going unless you have $1000 minimum.
Damn dude what are you planning on buying?
@@Marcellus-ro4ko very true!
@@noeeortiz9073 ill never tell lol
5 grand
My cousin been gambling since 2003
$1500 for the weekend at least
Yes that's about right. I. Had a friend bring 300 for a weekend. She was broke 2 hours into the trip
$3k here for the weekend!
@@razorbacks1983 Yep! I did that more than once.
It was the alcohol that got me.
I only spent about $300 for a weekend. You folks have money management issues.
I go with 800-1000 for 3 to 4 days and I’m good
Where can I find the loud💨💨
lakisha antonetty cannabis is legal in Vegas. You can go to any dispensary and buy it :)
Check out Essence, ReLeaf, and Planet 13 Dispensary
All of it
At least triple what you think you'll need. Plain and simple.
Spenser Hawk lol
More then you can send
Answer depends on a few things.
1, miserable tight skinflints could probably get away with $10 - 15 per day, this will be enough for a Big Mac, a couple of bottles of water and fuck all else......... no entertainment apart from people watching
2, a level higher would be $100 per day, enough for 2 Big Macs, 2 alcoholic drinks, 24 hour pass for Deuce Bus, this will let you get to Fremont St which will involve more people watching.......... bizarre people there.
3, over $200 per day, enjoy yourself, maybe eat something better than a Big Mac (what could be worse than those anyway), see a few attractions
4, over $300 per day, as number 3 and take in a show or have a gamble
5, over $400 per day, you'll have a ball
6, over $500 per day, get either a good lawyer or reserve a decent hospital bed............. my wife would either divorce me or try to kill me if she knew I had that amount of money to spend in Vegas!!!!
HOW MUCH YOU GOT?...
you need a lot because the resort fees and parking are a rip off!
Get shots from Fat Tuesday their about $2+ compared to the club it’s $18+
If your spending the weekend on the strip. 2k is a minimal
Is da crack more?
At a movies laugh all day. yeah you. can.
200 a day? thats so poor
Juan Shaft Patel everyone isn't rich
10k easy
Rent money life savings sell your car get a bank loan and maybe you can survive half a day😕
You keep saying avoid the Taxi cabs.. but you never say why? I take the safest transportation I can. With Uber you don't know who your getting a ride from because they never screen anyone. Your taking a risk when you get in an Uber car.
walleye364 I say to avoid Taxis because of the pricing. With Uber/Lyft you can read customer reviews from previous rides and see their rating and if it you don't like them, you can cancel the ride. But whether it's Taxis, Uber or Lyft, you never know who anyone is now a days.
Cab companys do a worst job at screening
I'd still rather use a cab than some one who can download the app on the phone and have no screening. Your basically getting into a strangers car who had no background check. From Bally's to Downtown it's approximately $23 for using a cab.
walleye364 you certainly are entitled to your opinion. Bally's to Downtown with Uber/Lyft is approximately $12 dollars, almost half the fare of a cab. Been using Ride share since it came to Vegas and I've never had a bad experience, or know of anyone who had a bad experience.
walleye364. Also ubet does screen their people. You cant just download the app and start driving for them......
Where da bee-yotches at?
Mike V lol the women are everywhere
😆😆😆
Vegas sucks and is full of crime, if you go be careful they're are scumbags that will follow you and get close to you trying to rob you!!
28 dollars for 2 beers at pool in hotel, vegas is a fucking rip off and the food is a rip off too.
