Look at Formal sitting there all worry free. He got out at the right time sadly 🤣. Poor Seth.
Seth’s chillin so long as he’s there the ship won’t sink once he’s gone different story
@@gabrielfreits297 nobody playing vanguard competitively this year is chillin
@@About36Greekss im honestly down with the 3rd gamemode being prop hunt or something dumb like that. This games a joke might as well
@@jw4491 shit take
@@mudasir6738 lol ik it’s not actually gonna happen bro, but who gives a shit this game is a joke right now. It’s not competitive anyways
Seth been backpacking the entire COD community for over a decade. So much props for the work he put in. Nothing but respect for this man!
It’s sad man. He can leave whenever and be so much bigger. But he stays and does it with nothing in return and still gets treated the way he does by the CDL.
@zenthora: Clash Royale that's kind of the point. He doesn't owe you or any of us a single thing. You don't pay his salary or pay his bills, to say that he didn't do enough is just an entitled opinion.
@zenthora: Clash Royale Mw3? Ghosts? AW? Bo3? He grinded content on all of those
@@Vonstra preach it dawg been watching Sethy seth for years that guy don’t know what he is talking about bo3 scump best content ever
@zenthora: Clash Royale You don’t watch Seth much if this is the take? After he’s been set he’s been streaming and making a ton of content regardless. Its literally the point.
If you’ve been around COD for 10+ years then you knew the CDL was a terrible idea immediately
The CDL is a great idea in concept. I think we all feared it would be executed terribly by activision… which it so far has been
@@JokerSlaysthegame cdl makes cod worse, cod is a game built by the community, with the “pros” being behind closed doors the community is separated. We’re unhappy because the old shit events were 1000x more hype than these recent events. I remember seeing teams go through the fucking ringer on lan and it made the weekend so much better. Idgaf about any cdl events because they’re straight up resident sleeper. Sentinels from halo started in the open bracket and placed 3rd, granted that’s halo but it’s the same how cod used to be.
That’s why everyone adapts more and more every single year. There’s not one person on this planet who was around back then that was as good as the standard sweat today. When the pros started drop shooting so much in Bo1 that when it all the advancements began.
Honestly I was kind of excited about it and then it was all shot down about mid way through MW
CDL could be great if it was impletemented and excecuted correctly. Just slapping teams in a league the little support doesn't really help pros.
I'm glad the Hecz and Nadeshot are speaking up for the community.
There was people speaking out wayy before them which went unheard. They only prob speaking out now because Activision is under lawsuit n shit. They have that bravery hoping they dont get a fine for speaking negative about the trash game they've been releasing.
@@Afjol. H3CZ and Nade been speaking out lmfao... Actually a lot more than over half the actual pro players
You're off it lol
@@Accupace not only that but big names are taking bigger risks speaking out. Not saying Hecz and nadeshot are heroes or anything but it's different when they do it.
@@Afjol. hecz been talking shit since MW so what are U on abt?
@@fable-I no he doesn't. he does it in video, but never tags the CDL directed. he does it for views, b ut not to help the league otherwise he'd be tagging them on twitter and calling them out directly, or at these owner meetings etc. even hecs admits him/optic don't like to comment on beef publically, so he's proven he keeps quiet to avoid drama. hate how blind optic fans are
“I was 18 you think I was rotating I was getting a 2 piece and yelling on the mic”😂😂😂🤦♂️💀
15:00 is when the fun begins
🐐
Thanks brother
Thank you lol was looking for this comment lmao
Thank god
Real one brother
I still love watching Scump drop V2’s. Scump pubstomping has been the best COD content for literally a decade.
Facts
Nah
Imagine the hit COD Esports and Call of Duty in general takes when Scump, Crim and Clay decide to retire. I think we are literally witnessing the end of call of duty as a respected E sport and it sucks! Terrible games, no content, no effort from Activision. Warzone will be what Call of Duty solely becomes unless some miracle happens in those offices with the suits.
As shitty as it sounds warzone is really what killed competitive. Not only did it take eyes away it also took Activisions attention away. They make so much money off wz they just don't give a fuck about comp. Fr i feel like the only thing keeping comp alive is the personalities. Obviously people like crim scump and clay but also people like maven and merk are a big reason it's still here. If maven and merk weren't pushing things with Activision I bet they'd care even less
@@ParadoxX-lt1vu nothin but facts brotha
If those three retire, who’s the new face of COD? Shottzy? Zinni? DOUG??!!
Leave Crim off the list and add Karma and Formal and I’m with you.
It was always Shit
I feel like this goes unsaid by a lot of us most of the time so I figured I would just take the time to comment how much I love this podcast. You guys probably don’t even realize how funny and entertaining these are. I look forward to em every week
Same
I agree wholeheartedly. It literally makes my day when I see the notification for the podcast. I cant even describe it.
@@salehahmed9079 we’ve come to love all these guys and it’s gotten harder to hear from all of them as time goes on. Being able to just get an hour of all the guys shooting the shit unfiltered is amazing. Pop it on during a particularly monotonous part of your day and it almost feels like you’ve got company. A conversation to have. Appreciate tf out of y’all, optic, happy new year keep up the good work this 2022
FormaL absolutely nailed his exit timing
Activision is never going to prioritize comp over casual. They need to seriously create a separate development team and group of people to run PRO cod.
Problem is they don’t need to do that all so they won’t. Only way shit changes is if Activision cleans house.
Literally the comp community is aching for more attention the casual players really need their own game damner
Just an assumption but they probably don't care because the comp community is so small. Yet the best cods were also great for comp, but they don't seem to acknowledge that
I’m crying at Formal “why wouldn’t you put it in front we can’t even see it”
Honestly the most entertaining time to watch cod was when all teams would stream scrims. It was fun to hear the arguments and discussions. It was cool to hear trash talk and its good for a COD to have players you love to hate like Aches. Having all the players get along and be politically correct makes for bad entertainment, and since the game is so bad to watch the entertainment needs to carry it.
thats what im loving about halo the scrims are streamed and its so fun to just chill want watch
TRUUUUUUUUUUE
ruclips.net/video/D7vHvTO5GXw/видео.html started putting these out for people to watch, i don’t stream but i promise they’re entertaining
Everyone knew that “nope” from scump was coming, yet, it was hilarious and goated 😂
What a podcast. Good laughs all around. Personal new years resolution, and I agree that more people should. Putting myself out there creating content. Hearing it from all the guys at the table that the money is there, but the people fear just the initial steps of getting themselves out there is in fact daunting. Shit, even I'm afraid to do it. But at the end of the day even if it doesn't get me anywhere. I least I can say I tried. Happy new years to everyone over at OpTic and the Green Wall! ❤️
Papá Hecz has the community on his hand! Thank you. You have a huge voice on this industry 🙏🏾
Yes sir one more podcast before the end of the year !!!! LETS GET THIS ITS GONNA BE AMAZING
The way hecz is talking in this podcast makes me think the CDL is not gonna be a thing in a few years.
I would cry tears of joy if we went back to playing pre CDL format.
Optic podcast is the best. Happy new year eve to everyone!
banger podcast per usual. Happy new year everyone
I always love the content, but these last couple weeks y'all been putting out some fire. Nothing but
Thanks for posting on New Years! Made my day!!!
Loved the insight on this podcast. Also kind of wished we got a chance to hear Matt talk about his experience at Raleigh. Get him on Eavesdrop!
4:17 lmaoo that takes me back to when Formal was dropping the knowledge on those taxi cabs
Is there really no way the owners can’t band together and ask to speak with the head of CDL or even someone higher up in Activision and speak with them about their grievances as people who each invested $20mill + on spots in the league? It seems like $200million + should get someone to listen
They have been fooled, the top dog is Activision. The fight is soooooo up hill.
Always knew the CDL was a bad idea for cod esports
Love it when these guys break it down honestly.
That ending had me dying! Great work guys 👏🏻
Happy for Formal that he got out when he did, miss him in cod already though
Both arguments that are so facts. Love it when scump speaks his mind.
Looking good hitch, good to see you for a minute in there
loving the content man. looking forward to a cod with a strong competitive support system.
Great podcast, guys, I really appreciate hearing your perspectives on the topics covered. Hecz has always been years ahead of the curve and it's sad that more pros don't take his advice. He's a King-maker.
I miss watching these guys. Hecz has always been my internet father figure. Im so happy he was able to regain control of Optic again and is still the authentic 40 something year old phenom, he was before.
Awesome way to see in the New Year here in the UK 😍😍
Formal just happy he’s on halo not dealing with COD 🤣💯
The poop talk was just hilarious 😂
Great ending! I bet that was off the dome too. H3CZ is just like that 😹🔥
Got my Red Bull and kettle cooked chips in hand and the best PodCast out there.
I did not expect to watch this whole thing but my god was this so interesting.
Happy new year's guys
Watched a lot of pro tournaments from black ops 2 to advanced warfare. Will always love a scump. He’s such a vibe
Sometimes I’ll be so into the podcast, loving every second. Then BOOM here comes hitch reading the ads. 😩
These podcasts have been 🔥 lately!
thank you for continually attempting to make CoD, we seriously appreciate it and hope it turns out to how it was back in the CWL, the good times. Hopefully before all the vets start to retire, so they can end off their careers happily!
OMFG......."it's all shit prevention"!!!! That shit had me ROLLING 🤣!!!!
LMAO the final "nope" was perfect.
Some straight facts spoken on this podcast 👏
thank god this came out today
The ending was hilarious 😂😂
I actually served Scump and 5 others at The Melting Pot when they came to Ohio and they were all so great to be around
That ending was phenomenal lmao
I don't know much but I know that I love the commercial breaks w/ Hitch
Love how smooth hitch comes in every time 😂
"im getting a 2 piece and im yelling" I almost died when he said that
45:30 boze thinkin damn that shoe kinda fits lmaoooooo
Formal like a philosopher over here- 😂😂 "MMMMM"
Gotta say we definitely took Cold War for granted, comparing it to vanguard wow
Hecz really tried scump like that at the end and scump with no hezi “no” 😂😂😭
I think I’m done watching cod but I’m definitely still keeping up and supporting optic
Inspirational as always
I love the passion from Hecz. He is the voice of an entire generation.
this one was full of straight facts.
This is one of my favourite groups on the show. Booze and T2P with Hecz, never too high but not too low. It’s just a good vibe
The ending was so funny 😂
Only real ones remember the fake taxi with Formal🤣
Happy New Year Green Wall 💚🧱
Love seeing Matt be able to speak his mind and also gas Seth. 🐐
Standing to wipe?? I've never even heard of that. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tailgaters in Frisko is a nice little hangout bar
Mad respect to Hecz. Man created history and is still pushing strong
Yesterday was a great day for the community
So many laughs 😂 thanks boys
Seeing this makes me slightly more appreciative of what 343 managed to do with Infinites HCS Open 1 & 2 & Raleigh, right out of the gate.
with all this going on, having pros finally speak up and a lot of the cod fan base not playing warzone or vanguard because of how bad it is right now can be a good thing. This feedback could make next years cod have a major bounce back for the franchise. Let’s hope we get cod back in the right direction
Ya but probably not though…..
Thank you Hecz.
The formal plane story 😂😂😂😂
excellent camera quality
hecz with the molly got me rolling
the ending was too good!
That ending sent me 😂
Love Seth’s shirt by the way!
I see the table and TV are turned on 👍🏽
Literally no one will watch Call of Duty League matches when Scump retires.
he ended up doubling the views w the watch party but we all thought it’d die when this came out myself included
Covid gang. Sitting at home watching da podcast!
Death, Taxes, and Hecz not knowing what number episode he's on
Great way to finish the year !!! My fav esports team !!
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE 🎉
What a way to close it out Lmaoo fucking love Hector 🤣💀
Lotta facts being spoken!!!
Roger's going streaking up the quad and through the gymnasium.
Optic built this shit and now they at the forefront of defending it too. Goats.
How is hitch gonna pull up like that NO WARNING😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When are people going to acknowledge the problem is that call of duty has yearly releases? Other eSport titles have a lifetime longer than 1 year which gives the developers ample time to dial in all aspects of the game and add more content to continue to breath life into the game. Activision just releases a broken game, people buy it, everyone complains about the many issues the game has, a year passes, rinse and repeat.
Do a podcast with the film crew and Paige!! We want to see/hear from them too
No lie i love the whole Optic and Nadeshot crew for voicing their opinions but damn i love me some Mbose homie is too damn funny lol.
He didn't really say anything funny here G
@@abcdefg9163 Thats your opinion G see how that works i think he did lol.
“Y’all know those taxi cabs, like the one from pornos?” Lmaooooo H3CZ undisputed 🐐
Shout out to Hitch for the excellent reading of the ads.
Scump said no quick as hell 😂😂😂
If it wasn't for optic I would have forgotten about cod already. It's trash rn and there is no way I'm buying it, but I'm here for the optic content.
The problem with the "everybody should be making content and building a brand" argument is that they'll all be competing for the same sets of eyeballs. I think there's only room for a handful of people to be really successful on the content side of things in cod comp space. I think the onus is on the devs and Activision to start giving us an acceptable product that people can get excited about again.
This doesn’t make any sense 😂
@@lotty4006 it does and it doesnt... a person who watches scump is likely to watch zooma is likely to watch shotzzy etc... but the only way to bring new people to stream is for more and more people to stream to get different eyeballs on them instead of the current fanbase
@@ddogjrwalk Views are already pretty damn low for the non-optic guys trying to stream and there's only a handful of them trying to do it. Imagine if all 48 CDL pros tried to get on the stream grind. Views would be spread so thin that I bet most of them would be getting less than 100 viewers, even less than 50. Slasher or whoever else streaming scrims isn't going to do a damn thing to build fanbase imo. I don't blame them whatsoever for not doing it.
@@ddogjrwalk thats crazy i literally watch all 3 of them in that order
It's not about being really successful, it's about building a niche market and passing the torch. That's how it is in the beginning. Pros need to stop being selfish and think about the ecosystem that can be built. COD will die without an ecosystem.
