SCUMP TALKS IN-DEPTH ABOUT RETIREMENT
MB01VRXLRVBBYYQ - Игры
It’s amazing to be here witnessing Scump still do his thing. Him and Nade were 100% the reason I got into competitive CoD and to see them both doing their thing in different ways is undeniably GOATED. Been watching since 2012 and I’m going to continue as long as I’m here. 💚
I have been watching seth since black ops 2 we are both the same age. If this is true it will be a sad day in COD. He literally is the reason I watch and have been for so long. OpTic fan all day though and still will be no matter what he decides to do. I know content will be more fun with him in it. Wish him all the best in what he choose to do!!
I feel like we’ve all started with BO2. Green wall is all like 21-27 years old I think
Do you want a cookie?

For those who saw Scump play in AW, you would know how much of a MONSTER this man was. Truly an era in COD history for one of the greats.
AW Jesus how old are you 😂
@@baileygamez liam ur just a baby
@@baileygamez I’ve been watching since my freshman year of high school when Black Ops 2 came out 😂
No cap aw, asm1 scump was fucking terrifying that's really when i became the equivalent of a lebron fan for scump
@@baileygamez your reply makes zero sense bro. 😐
Cod will never be the same when the king retires 💔
It’s already not the same
@@theReservedYT um ok lol
@@robertbiggerstaff5030 what? am I wrong or something? Cod just hasn’t been hitting the same as it used too.
@@theReservedYT i mean you're not wrong lol but this comment is more directed at scump not playing anymore as much as a generalization of competitive cod
@@theReservedYT essentially "read the room"
I want all of the OpTic players and staff to know, at least for me and I'm sure many others in the GreenWall, that we don't want you to deliver us the world and win for us so we can go home happy and enjoy the bragging rights. Nah because we want to see you all succeed for yourselves, that's where my joy in supporting OpTic comes from. By delivering us the entertainment and lasting memories across two different mediums between content and competition (for YEARS), we just want to see those competitors happy that their work has paid off. And the easiest metric for them to see what they've earned back in their effort is through winning. I'm cool with OpTic winning champs, but I'm fucking pumped to see Scump, illey, Shotzzy get another ring, and Dashy his first.

The thought of Seth retiring honestly makes me tear up. He’s had such an impact on us all and his magic can’t be quantified. He’s the heart of the #greenwall and to us, the all time greatest ever… period
I started watching Seth when I was 11 , I’m 19 now who has pretty much stopped playing CoD but still watch the guy and appreciate him for what he has done, Seth is literally a straight demon and has been a inspiration to me in FPS games.

I’m not gonna lie scump, I’ve been a fan of your since the beginning. I just turned 30 in July. I’ve sat at home for the last 10 years and EVERY tournament you’ve been in I’ve screamed my heart out and almost lost my voice for you and for the green wall. What you’ve done for this community ABSOLUTELY NO ONE will EVER ACHIEVE. From the bottom of my heart, I absolutely love watching you play cod. I love the ups and downs that come with it. I love how hard you try and we as the green wall, thank you for your passion, and love for the game. I will ALWAYS be a fan, I will always love the energy and the personality you bring with you in anything you do. I personally, wanna say thank you for all the videos, the streams, and everything you’ve done. Whenever I was sad, bullied, or felt alone I always knew I could turn to your channel, tune into your stream, or anything you/optic were working on and you’d make me feel better and forget the bad shit. You’ve help me, and you’ve help a lot of the green wall more then you will ever know. Again, thank you for what you do. I can’t wait to see your future, what do you with your life after cod, and as a true non toxic green wall fan, WIN or LOSE… I will always be apart of the green wall. Thank you scumpii, truly… thank you so much man. #LETSGOOPTIC #GREENWALL #BRICKBYFUCKINGBRICK
Word
Scump means alot to me been watching since BO2. Ghosts was probably the year I was most obsessed with COD in terms of the competitive aspect of it. His videos got me through some dark times his career means alot to me. I hope he knows he is the definition of a legend.
Been watching Scump since 2012 when I was in 8th grade, now I'm getting my MBA. Where does time go man. Scump is the reason I started watching competitive CoD. He is the reason I love Optic. I pray you are able to get one more ring! No player will ever have the same impact that Seth has had on this league. Bringing millions of fans to this league. Seth I wish you endless success in life in your remaining years playing CoD and after you retire. CoD truly will never be the same without you big bro
Wow I’m old….it was 1993 when I was in 8th grade. And I was like 27 when I started watching comp cod.
You’re in the NBA? Cool
i just want scumpii to do what makes him happy in life
same brotha same.
After one more ring 😫
Fax, he's way more then deserved it
Same bro.
@@Idonthaveaname__ yes I pray to Allah he does get one or two more. But definitely one more
OpTic , Hecz , Nadeshot and Scump were the reasons i started watching competitive gaming and call of duty in general.I've been following them since i was 13 and now i'm 22. Their content made me want to play more of the cod games and i remember watching them compete every single year. Whatever happens , i'm truly thankfull for all the amazing moments those guys gave us and i'll continue supporting them no matter what. From an OpTic fan in Greece.
Started watching Scump in BO2 and just loved his energy and skill and he was one of the main reasons I started really following optic.
Listen man, Seth has been my inspiration since the moment I first saw him. Back in the Black Ops 2 days, I didn't watch competitive until AW came out but during the BO2 days I still watched his videos.
The day the decision is made I just know that a new life is awaiting Scump in the world of video games. He won't be held down by scrims, he won't be under pressure by anyone anymore and he will be almost in the position to become bigger then he ever became while being a streamer and content creator for OpTic and himself.
I know for a good fact that I will be crying the day it comes. COD and the world of competitive Esports as a whole will lose one of its staples currently and I will miss the moments of him competing. There have never been anymore more great experiences to witness then those.
Seth, I love you man you have been the goat, the king since the beginning. I will follow you till the day I die. You are still my inspiration and I hope you know that. I hope you can still give us some more but at the end of the day regardless of what happens at champs, you are still OpTic and you are still Seth Scumpii Abner!🙏💚👑
Awesome comment ✌️
@@robbie4787 thank you man!
couldn't have said it better brother
Scump is a living legend… a icon in gaming period
Seth is the heart and soul of the Greenwall! Big reason alot of us got into watching comp cod was through his early RUclips videos and the reason we have stuck around to ride the roller-coaster is because of his personality and his ability to captivate his audience! All the love from Brisbane, Australia 💚💚💚
Scump is truly a once in a generation kind of player , he’s got the talent , personality and the ability to not just compete in COD for this long at the top level but Content as well, he really is just the complete package. I’m gonna be watching this guys content until he calls it quits.
He did slack hard on content. So imo he is overrated in that regard. Dont get me wrong during bo2 and ghosts maybe even aw i think scump was uploading like crazy. I dont remember when he started slacking. The only part about his content that didnt slack are his viewers.
I used to be watching lots of scump. I always missed the hours long scrim videos like during mw3. So i aint no hater just someone who considers being inconsistant not commandable. Regardless the dude is nice. I think its sad his uploads and content didnt stay on par with the past. I guess it might be due to optic and competition. I mean content used to be very raw then at one point they stopped saying certain things stopped being open like they used too etc. I guess its this day and age were you lose income for speaking your mind and such. Or you receive tons of hate. Anyway wish him the best and you 2 a good day.
I think he’s been slacking because honestly pubs ain’t been good for him to make videos in recent cods

Scump has been someone i've looked up to as a pro player for what feels like a lifetime, He is literally everything a pro player should aspire to be, and seeing him age and mature has been a blessing. What ever he decides to do after competing, im sure the greenwall will be by his side. A true Legend.
Man I've been waiting for this all week. Can't wait for this weekend. Let's go OpTic 💚
Went to high school with this kid. We didn't really know each other. Can't even describe how proud I am of him! Been so fulfilling to follow his career for 10 years.
Im glad seth brought up the “golden age” of call of duty. There 100% was a golden age and it seems that the lack of developer feedback and just overall feedback for the community has caused so many people to turn away
mw2,bo1,mw3 were the best CoDs ever made.. i wish the scene was as big as it is now back with those games. mw2 will be exciting next year but still not identical to the original.
@@maxwagor5594 the fact you didnt include the BEST COMP COD TO DATE> black ops 2 is the best cod. dont @ me bro. ask any pro

Scump and Zooma are the reason I got into the competitive side of COD. I missed out on watching Zooma but have enjoyed following Scump over the past several years. Thank you for everything Scump and no matter what the next move is I’m here for it!
Hey Scump, 29 year old x D1 baseball player here and fan that has been watching you for over 10 years of my life…Appreciate your mindset, work ethic, and competitiveness that you give every single year. I rarely comment and feel somewhat guilty for that but know that you are appreciated not for the many W’s you’ve gotten (although those have been fun) but for the effort, talents, and love you have for what you do. Go out there at champs and have fun with the squad…not too many years left so live in the moment! Appreciate you and go Optic!
Thank you for all the great times Seth, you are the GOAT. I wish you the best with anything you do in this life
Scump has been one of the greatest Cod players of all time to watch over the years. The time will come when he chooses to hang up the hat and quit competing, which will be difficult for a while. The impact that he has had on the industry and the league is monumental. Hopefully he chooses to stick around for maybe a couple more seasons depending on the next game. But after hearing about his hands struggling after scrims, it sucks that the idea of retirement can be seen in the distant future. Doesn’t mean he can’t kick ass on Cod because he has been awesome this year :)
Overall it has been amazing watching his journey and I’m super excited to see them compete in champs. He will always be a legend and will be proud of whatever the future may hold for him. Much love to the GreenWall 💚
I hope this team is able to stick for next year and play the whole year together without issues. They deserve it and they are going to be GROSSSSS!
That’s what I’m saying. Scump can’t retire after the disastrous year this was. Give it at least one more year as a full squad with no setbacks.
I honestly think its gonna come down to what the cod is like when it releases later this year, because its gonna be the last cod for a couple years and if its not fun competitivly to play i dont see him grinding through it
I cant even explain how much this group has helped me understand ups and downs an how to handle them. OpTic is a lifestyle not a brand nothing else but a Life style. Dont be just a Fan understand how impressive the set backs and comebacks are!! #GREENWALL Never give up!!
OpTic has been apart of my life for many years. All the love and thank you for the memories and growing up with me. 25 years old now
I loved CoD before finding Scump on YT back in the day but he has made the game just magical to watch and play over the years. Obviously I never wanna see him retire but I'll 100% support him in his decision when he makes it. If he really wanted to he could easily compete for years to come, he is still easily one of the best players in the league but it's all about what he wants to do personally. I'd love to thank him in person one day for the years of joy he has given me personally, one hell of a guy 💚
This man ignited a fire in me that I did not know was there when it comes to competition in gaming over 10 years ago, I will genuinely cry when he retires. The fkn GOAT.
I never want to see any of the optic guys move away from there respected rolls. I’ve been watching optic for more than a decade now, I love that they are a huge family and not just a team who competes together. That’s why Optic will always have a huge fan base is because of the personalities within optic we have all watch since we were kids and grown to love. #greenwall 💚
Amazing video. Been watching OpTic and Seth since bo2 and grew up with you guys. It’s crazy that we’ve hit a time where Scumpii the young king is close to retiring. Time flies💚🖤
When it comes to the impact on the game and pure skill, Scump, is the GOAT. He’s always going to be my favorite player and will always be the person I remember watching all the way back to the BO2 days. This Weekend OpTic by a billion.
Played a few sub games through Twitch back on Black Ops 2 with Seth and Matt. 2012 is TEN years back now..... I was 20. Just incredible how far things have come and changed since then. Been an OpTic fan since 2011 pre-MW3 release when the old team play-tested multiplayer against Obey with Fwiz and Hastro commentating. Crazy times. Bets of luck to this man!
Aw scump was truely different and was so entertaining to watch. A golden year for me
I'm 38 years old and i'm not even ashamed to admit i still watch Scump's videos and every year i go back and watch is old black ops 2 videos. Those always make me feel good and bring so much nostalgy of a time when Cod was the biggest game in the world and was actually fun.
I will always support this kid no matter what. He is hands down the greatest of all time. Rings are not everything. This kid has raw talent and skills, he is funny and charismatic and he had the balls to speak the truth when he wanted.
Please don’t be done, I’m 25 and been following scump since mw3 :( been a literal decade and I’m not ready for him to quit competing

Felt like I’ve grown up with scump and optic man. Watched every video they have put out for ten years. In the beginning I watched optic for scump. Now I watch optic for optic and always will. Bravo scump 👏 it’s crazy because my IRL career is just starting and yours is just ending. Brings a smile and tear at the same time.
Really love these types of interviews. Hector seemed more raw in his questions and answers. Would love to see more.
Thank you Seth for sparking this drive in me to be competitive not only on the game but in life. You did a lot in alittle time. Salute my brother!!
scump is the only guy hecz will completely go silent and hear him speak haha really speaks volumes to how much he loves and respects scump
Well, it is a serious video that is sponsored by Oakley. Hecz isn't gonna interrupt him when speaking, that's just rude. Also, hecz is in a suit. Hecz has also interrupted scump plenty of times when he has spoken before, and hecz has also stayed silent when people other than scump have spoken.

Im now entering my 30s and still get hyped when OG competes in competitive CoD. Ill be attending Champs this weekend, rooting for the boys! Wish you the best Seth, no player deserves another ring more than you! Our GOAT 🐐
It'll definitely be a huge blow to the scene once he retires. I remember watching him streaming pubs on MW3 so it'll be strange to see him no longer compete but it'll be a nice change for Scump to transition into variety streaming
I don't know if I'll watch cod league after scump retires. He's been the sole reason I watch cod competitively sense Bo2. The energy he puts out, the vibes, watching him play has been an honor. Mans is the goat, it won't be the same without him.
LMAO you and me both he’s the only real reason I watch the CDL other than crim and once their gone I see no point in watching anymore
The king will never be forgotten in all our hearts 💚
I know Scump will never see this, But watching him and optic in general Had always had so much Excitement and joy for me, there was points where I wasn’t sure if I’d get through it, but Watching them Always made me feel better and more Joyful then before, Heczs and Scump and the Whole Optic in General in a Way Saved me and made be have Passion and Love again for things I was Giving up on. You guys Changed my Life and those are Memories that Will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!!!!!!! Stay Strong Live Long Slay To Your Song Brother!!!!
It’s been real! Happy for Scump I’m sure he’ll succeed it w/e he does next. It was fun watching him all these years, but now he puts the sticks down. One of the best if not the best ever. Seeing him one last time at champs will be special. Happy retirement Scump.
Best interview Hecz did. Liked that he listened and not interrupting all the time. That’s how you do an interview. Gg Hecz.
When Seth retires its going to be such a sweet and sour thing for me... I would hate to see the era come to an end but then I'd also love to have him back streaming... I have been subbed to Scump for years now and its a bit strange to sub to someone that's rarely live haha!!
Been a fan since MW3 times, when nade left i ventured off into other gaming scenes but it was very nostalgic to come back and watch Scumpi play at champs. Happy for all that you guys have achieved, GG's!
Lol I’ll just say I feel old even seeing “Retirement & Scump” in the same scenario. But brother Iv appreciated everything you’ve done to entertain us. And putting Optic on your back for years. Whether you do or not I’m happy for you.
I started watching Scump and OpTic since MW3 days. Watching the amount of work and time Seth and OpTic put in to be the best in the game really stands out. I 100% agree that the people who would cheer you on, but turn their back on you when losing. Never really understood how over time, the game movement became really challenging on the players. And the overall competetivness of the sport itself kept getting more and more challenging. To see Scump and OpTic battle through the hard times in the past and producing the best content for a esports team period and overall staying consistant. Is such huge motivation to the real OpTic fans who understood the challenges and never turned their back. Scump you had an amazing career and I hope you enjoy the future to come because you deserve it my man. Much Love.
Seth, you're the best big dog! All love no matter what the future holds!

I love this type of videos to bring the community closer to what is behind Optic and gain a better insight on how certain things happen and how the players feel about stuff. Keep it up and always love to hear something from the King! Only reason I am competing right now
Killer interview, would love to see more of the juicy questions from the olden nadeshot v scump days!
Im almost 40 years old and have been watching pro cod since it started. Scump has always been a player I love to watch. Even though I will hate to see him retire I cant wait to see what else he does in life.
The fact that he doesn’t know have an idea of what he wants to do when he retires makes me think that it’s not on his agenda any time soon
Crazy to think… what a run it’s been. Been watching Scump and Optic come up since I was 12-13 I’m 25 now… times flies. Can’t wait to see how both Scump and Optic continue to revolutionize the gaming industry. Much love #greenwall and as always it’s ya boy Optic Scumpii we’ll stheee ya 🫡 #memories
I definitely hope we get a good cod and he stays for another few years.. I do really appreciate the transparency of this video, thanks OpTic and Hecz!
A friend put me on OpTic at the tail end of BO2 and I became a permanent fan of the org and players in Ghost. It really has been a roller coaster since then but Scump is still the goat. Just remember haters dont wanna see you win
Seth I’ve been a fan since bo1. It’s always a pleasure to watch you on the sticks. You have my support on whatever you decide to do in the future #greenwall
Growing up watching scump on BO2 and now in vanguard, the guy brought some of the happiest moments in cod esports to me personally!! The day he retires will have a big impact on everyone!!
Scump has a few years ahead of him in the league is my guess, but when he retires, I'm assuming he moves to more content/streams, so COD may actually benefit from it. The CDL specifically will take a massive hit, but for COD/WZ overall it would be a good thing.
Especially when he gives his actual thoughts on players and plays cause a lot of time it’s very professional. I look forward to the content when we get that real commentary
Or he does what BigT did
Nah he won’t stream cod
Your CDL will take a massive hit because till this days there isn't a cod pro that makes context like SCUMP or even to a personality like him
Scump is the reason I started playing cod competitively, he is the embodiment of what a cod player should be and I hope champs goes well and scump can get that ring that he deserves. Love you scumpii glad to have been watching you since bo2. Hope retirement treats you well.
What a golden era it was
Scumpii deadass changed so many COD players lives and I will always remember the greatest highlights of Optic poppin off in the early days! Forever one of my favorite players and till this days...

This better be a cruel fkin joke 😟😭😭😭 Dont do it king!! You could switch to AR before retirement man
I’ve grown up watching Seth and the boys since I was 11 years old. Through my own personal good and bad times, there was always a yt video or a twitch stream there to watch that gave me a distraction, a smile, and a ton of laughs. Hard to put into words the impact Seth, and OpTic in general, has had on me over the course of the past 10 years. The inspiration you’ve all supplied through this video game named Call of Duty, will never be matched again. Live and die as a brick in the GreenWall, just wanna say thank you and let’s get that dub at Champs!
Seth your the definition of call of duty
Seth’s famous “I’m the best in the game” was my first cod comp I had ever seen. Dwight Howard was there it was all new to me and I been a fan ever since. I was die hard football and hockey and baseball fan. And seeing this was just all new to me. Scump was definitely reason I got into comp cod

cant believe its been 15 years since i first started watching optic on youtube, and still do to this day and will continue to do so🔥
Hopefully more pros continue to build their brands and bring competition to the forefront like Scump. When he retires there’s going to be a crater to fill that will take the league to try and patch up.
Also @29:09 is that a subliminal Oakley ad???
I never want Seth to retire, been a fan for so many years now. But if OpTic wins champs now this cod and he hangs up the jersey man that would be a different level. I would actually want that, him getting his second ring and for many people regard him as the GOAT of CoD
WTF I remember when I was doing competitive he was dominating the USA scene, during MW3 so the first COD World Championship he was not able to play it because he was not 18 years old, that's crazy how time flies ^^ After 10+ years he's still at the top level doing a competition, proud to have seen all this journey since day 1😳 Legends never die 👑

This is Scump talking about retiring in like maybe 3 or 4 more seasons...
you know its scary when scump gets asked whats your best cod. and he rambles off 4 or 5 titles other than black ops 2. thats a bad man right there. he told people to bow down during bo2. sheesh
Is this how wack my team has gotten? We go from having unlimited creatively with hecz. He said oh we will join nvy to make his job easier and he just completely disappeared. His job is easier but we are getting less vlogs. Less podcast like wow. What a shame. I thought this brand would last forever but yall killing it fast

This some delirious level trash talk.
Ive been watching seth's and OpTic videos since I was 15... I am 22 now... Whatever his decision may be, we will respect it and encourage him as the greenwall.
I remember watching the IW Champs Final when I was 11 years old and it was insane to see such high level COD.
