Dunno about the 186 but the 206 has ridges on the door handles that can lock the car without taking your key out of your pocket. I use that all the time. It also picks up when you're walking towards the car and starts to light up the puddle/side mirror lights getting brighter as you get closer. Makes you feel special inside.
@@AdamLetter could be a possibility. in the lower part of the front bumper in the grill section there is a pretty decent sized square glass (if it came with the radar option) that’s the radar or where it’s meant to be rarely see uzs186 with radars it’s a pretty good function
Thanks for the video Adam, bought a Crown Majesta recently. I was wondering the difference between the sports button on the centre console and the sports mode next to drive on the gearshift. If you leave someone in the car and lock it/turn the alarm on, the alarm goes off when they move. There is a button on the ceiling next to the in-cabin lights that turns only the internal motion alarm off. Handy for the kids or anyone you're leaving in there. (This applies to URS206 Toyota Crown Majesta, not sure if this is an issue on older models)
Nice video! Thank you! I really enjoy the Toyota Crown videos since I am planning to buy one in the future, too. But I cannot decide between GRS-184 (Athlete) and GRS-186 (Majesta) yet.
@@peterkanz2843 I always make a pros and cons list especially if you have found one of each you are deciding between like ones for sale one might win because of a kit or wheels or the paint colour 😉
I've been using Android auto with the naviplus in my crown grs204 for about 4 months and it's pretty smooth. Once in a while the sound might go off because the navigation system go back to the default system, but just go in the sound setting and select vtg and the sound comes back on.
@@AdamLetter I'm glad someone asked and you answered. I'm your height and no doubt you've had headroom issues in plenty of cars. I might have to fly to Melbourne, buy the advertised one and drive it back to Mid NSW. It may be a stepping stone to a Century.
Bro love your videos but do you have an actual car tour? i want to see what your crown looks like and what mods. im looking at them now but stuck on what model i want tbh
Naviplus systems are pretty junk having experience with them and a gromline systems. The gromline system is superior as its way more refined as they undergo lots of R&D in america. Both systems are buggy and kind of painful to use at times. If you just want to listen to music Bluetooth adaptors are mint as they are a fraction of the price of a carplay system. Having spend the money on a carplay system I can say they aren't necessarily worth the money.

Ooo yes it has similar like if U have your key on you and it's locked the lights go on and the door will just unlock and open by grabbing the handle
@@AdamLetter makes me want that watch key so bad.
Owned a URS206 for 2 weeks, randomly walking up to the car in the dark and the mirrors shining lights on the ground blew me away.
Nice info vid been looking at a 05 for my first car 🎉
What a sick first car
I have a c type f package the cruise control is adaptive in them not sure what model you have but some do have adaptive
Yeah that would make yours a 204? Mines a 186 so no adaptive but the newer ones have even more features than mine
@@AdamLetter yeah nah mines a 186 with the cruise radar match’s the speed with the car infront of me
@owenwest5895 whaaaatttt no way!? Maybe mines lost the function coz of the aftermarket bodykit so no front sensor

Thanks for the comment. I'm pretty sure the sport button is for suspension where as the sports position for the shifter effects the transmission
HAHA the window tangent 😂
I swear I get lost on tangents aye hahaha
My boot also opens itself hahaha its an awesome feature hahaha u forgot the seat memory settings haha
Oh yeah that seat memory is nice tbh I'm the only one who drives mine so was easy to forget haha

Go the Majesta my man. Whole reason to buy a Crown is its luxury as hell. The Majestas are a step up on the Athletes for that.
@@marclindbom9806 I think U just answered your query 🤗
My boot definitely still opens automatically, I was pretty surprised too
I'm a tad jealous haha

Doesn't this version of the crown. Have a voice greet you once you start the car up?
@@zaynemcnirney356 yup but I just turned mine off in the settings
@Adam how can I see the song title while driving? I use to see it but now I can't anymore, do you have any suggestions?
I have never been able to it's not a feature the Bluetooth device I installed has
Bro you so make me want to buy a crown
Waiti til I finish the exhaust 😉
The afs only works when it wants if your car has been lowered. I got mine disconnected
How do auto lights have anything to do with your suspension height? Mine works all the time.
Also why did you disconnect it there is a button to turn it off
