The amount of trust she has for this man
What are you talking about?! Men and women do even more together than that and have you ever heard of actors?
@@user-zc2ek1sq2h Of course, but I am assuming that these are regular people who went into speech and debate or something of the like. I personally wouldn’t be able to have /anyone/ behind me making all sorts of movements, it’d cause too much stress and anxiety. So I was saying that she must trust this guy a lot to do that. 🫂
Please note: I did not mean for “man” to be the emphasis of the statement lmao
I'll write a book because of this poem. Old songs are waking in me. Thank you
Powerful and important.
0 dislike. Exactly how it supposed to be.
She is amazing!!
She deserves even more likes too.
The mans arms behind her is - is making me shiver ;-;
Why
The 5'2" 125 pounder with pert C's doesn't make me shiver
@@lockandloadlikehell um they weren't implying the man was physically intimdating... although being a smaller man doesn't mean they can't hurt you.
Holy crap was this powerful, thank you
A salute to the guy at the back!!
literally started crying. beautiful work
Woah-
Yas queen.
Damn! This was so outstanding, I don't have words for it. It actually scared me a bit. I thought she might attack that guy for a little while there, she was getting so loud and outraged...lol.
I mean, i was feeling bad for her, then i started feeling bad for myself, well not me personally, but men in general who place themselves in situations that demean the entire gender and make us look beyond bad, just evil.
But just the way the things were presented and acted out, was just extremely well recited and well-acted. Outstanding job.
This is so close to home omg
unreal.
W O W
God so powerful, too real
Sooo powerful ❤
What...her armpits? 🤨
🖤
Incredibly powerful
What...her armpits? 😂
Something happened too me at a young age. I filed it away. Forgave.
If rape cannot be portrayed, it cannot be spoken about and ppl can merrily continue to pretend it doesn't exist. How much have ppl learned from Law and Order SVU? Where wud they learn it otherwise? The blank pages of the history books?
This comment is abt the title of this video. I don't hear her denouncing watching portrayals of rape but mentioning one that I assume she found to be in bad taste. Things like rape, racism etc can't just be things we don't see on TV. That's pretending they don't exist.
I'm really hoping she's okay with him and that's acted-
Seems very carefully choreographed. And effectively. Putting more performance in performance poetry than usually seen. I'm struck by it.
It's gonna rummage around in my head for a few days.
I think it's a form of awe that has struck me.
@@PhilosopherThom K, my intrusive thoughts were like "What if this is just forced acting 👀"
nah, it definitely seems like an artistic choice and it's meant to feel uncomfortable to the audience.
@@meganmullis5386 o ok thank you-
