I made this video years ago, needed to repost to attempt to stop anyone else from destroying their life via these criminal doctors selling this criminal surgery. I will when I feel able be doing update video on this nightmare. I NEED to make the world aware of what has been done to us. I would like to speak with Dr. Andrew Huberman and make him aware, he would be the perfect platform to try and get this story out, as I am one of thousands destroyed by this shit.

Crazy, a few weeks ago a guy at work was talking about getting the “treatment” for hyperhydrosis. He has it pretty bad. Anyways I remembered this video from years ago and warned him against it telling what I remembered of the story and I think I won him over. It’s crazy to me because this channel just happened to come back right afterwards.

This video about your ets story always stuck with me. I'm glad you uploaded it back. Its very interesting and important for people to be aware of this.
In relation to your physical state. I don't really know what to say except that I wish you the best. I don't really know you personally, wouldn't want you to know me personally either (I'm not a shiny character in person) but I love you, I love your stuff, have watched a lot of your videos and a lot of them made a huge impact on me, never agreed 100% with your views but I find you to be a brillant man with a gift of sight. It's awful and totally unfair what happened to you. Thanks for sharing your experience and warning others against this horrible, deranged procedure. If it's any consolation at all, hearing stories like yours truly help me appreciate the relatively minor hyperhidrosis I deal with and inspire me to spread awareness of alternative treatment options. The fact that iontophoresis or botox weren't even mentioned by any doctor I've seen is ridiculous. Much more research needs to be done and we need to stop recklessly cutting people up.
Those clips of you skating are sick man, you were really talented.

Thank you for your comment means a lot. Yes there needs to be more research done on what this surgery has done to people, it truly needs to be an major news story, a 2020 dateline or a documentary on Netflix. Its very hard to get people or doctors to fully pay attention and grasp how horrific and criminal this is. The fact surgeons are not showing that thermal imaging to people and simply claiming only major side effect is compensatory sweating is actually fraud. Its truly terrible. Thank you again for the kind words.

Dude I am so sorry. Your testimony is making me want to cry. I have had palmar hyperhidrosis since I was about 13 (I’m 22 now). I’ve always felt that I would be a way more confident and outgoing person without it and was really considering ETS. I know this doesn’t help your situation at all, but your video saved my life. Im pursuing a career as a strength and conditioning coach and that would have never been possible if I had ETS done. There needs to be major class action lawsuits literally on an international level, it just difficult because how compartmentalized modern medical thinking is, they just act like they don’t know if the health problems I have was caused by this, most doctors I see hardly even care. Anything you can do to spread awareness around this can be helpful. I am contacted at least once a week by people whose lives have been ruined by this on social media or people thanking me like you have. It really is an absolute atrocity, I have other videos on it with more detail scientifically why it’s so insane. My Bruce Lee video will blow your mind. Yes in strength training you 100 percent need your sympathetic system and chain to tap into those intense modes of strength. I would say find ways to strength your parasympathetic response, cold water exposure at least for the moment can help refrain that hyper active nervous system response.

Hello. I'm actually scheduled to have this surgery in 2 weeks and will cancel it after this video for now. My doctor, who seems like a really nice guy, said that the only risks were compensatory sweating, and that even if I got that that it would be much less than the way I sweat right now. I have tried absolutely everything and I'm feeling too desperate, to the point that it's getting depressing. I don't know what other alternative there is, but I guess that I'd rather have sweaty palms than what you described in your video. Thanks for all the info and I wish you the best of luck.

Hey man, I'm sorry you're suffering. I actually had the surgery 13 years ago (I was 16 then, 29 now). I only recently became curious after opening a my chart to view some blood tests and noticed my surgery listed. Obviously, as a kid I never looked into it much. A lot more interested now that I'm applying to medical school. I will say, I must've lucked out. I do remember having some peculiar symptoms after the surgery like aggressive compensatory sweating and itchy patches of skin, but I never felt like it slowed me down. I remember a specifically heinous epsiode of itchness about six months after the surgery where my enitre body felt like it was on fire during a summer paintball match with my high school football team. Luckily, I've never dealt with anything of that magnitude since! I have no doubts that there are success cases and cases of failure like any procedure. Disregarding health forum biases, I certainly see how severe some of the impacts on ones life can be. I just wanted to mention now that I don't have any symptoms from the procedure that have lasted the 13 years since the procedure. The body has a huge capacity for neural plasticity and other adaptive measures which can adjust to anatomical changes. I just want you (OP) to know that you can improve your symptom set over time. What you're suffering with now is not guranteed to affect you for life. I know right now, you're probably more angry than anything else, but a little hope every now and then can't hurt. For anyone else reading this, I'm not recommending the surgery and OP is right in saying both of us were too young to make that decision. Looking back now, if I had known the risks, I may have looked elsewhere for relief. This being said, I personally do not regret the operation as I was paralyzed to interact with others throughout gradeschool (surely this may have affected me for the rest of my life, or using my previous line of logic, it may have resolved on its own). Although, the risks of thermodysregulation are nothing to scoff at. I do want people to be aware that most people who find success in any surgery like myself are rarely going to post about it, hence why I earlier mentioned some of the biases one can derive from online medical forums where most are seeking answers or help. You have to weigh the decision on your own and you MUST TRY OTHER TREATMENTS FIRST. This is my biggest regret, since I was too young to really ponder any sort of standard of care.

Like you had to give up skating. I had to suffer by giving up my piano playing. I sweat dripping on my back when I play. Even a fan, a cooler or a ac can't stop that sweat from dripping. After ETS, you just can't do anything which demands body/ mind exertion. And mind you people this surgery would be catastrophe for serious musicians. Don't do it.

@@WhatisReal11 I highly recommend Citalopram as its a anxiety drug that treats depression, when I went to a doctor I honestly said I'm not depressed I need to stop the pain and the way my body feels out of sync or disconnected, I was fatigued, I had chest pain and burning arms when in a hot room or hot country, I'd feel like I could pass out or had zero concentration, so I took Citalopram to help me deal with it, after 3 weeks I noticed the pain and fatigue wasn't as bad, the reason being the nervous system can be fooled into thinking its okay which stops the pain and fatigue and lack of concentration and also the compensatory sweating you can get depending on the temperature, it totally changed my life, it takes awhile to work as it needs to increase the levels in the brain to help the nervous system, when the brain feeds the nervous system it can keep it in an even tilt as its connected. Citalopram an SSRIs work by blocking ("inhibiting") reuptake, meaning more serotonin is available to pass further messages between nearby nerve cells or nerve endings, if I do get pain I take 20mgs of Citalopram a day and just bog standard Paramol that's like a weak opiod, but the Citalopram is brilliant it doesn't make you drowsy it's easy going, I've also tried another drug called Amitriptyline on a now and then basis which is for nerve pain or damaged nerves also classed as an antidepressant but they all work on the nervous system. Amitriptyline can stop nerve damage when sleeping by blocking pain receptors when you feel terrible in heat at night, apart from that I've been fine since.
Remember with ETS they have stopped the nerves to stop sweating but don't realise that the brain still sends signals to the nerves that have been altered so you then get pain or lack or sensitivity aka goosebumps, body aches, muscles ticks, cramp, body temperature defects that's because our nervous system works on emotional feelings and fight or flight, it's part of the chain, by stopping the nerves they stopped the function.
The medication has helped me alot because I am pretty sure it blocks the signals that was altered to stop PH.
Alot of people here are on Citalopram in the UK and its very good for lots of different problems not just mine.

Yes. Its spilts the body autonomic nervous in half regardless. The body is not designed to have the sympathetic chain damaged and removed. There are people in the online support groups who had it for blushing and develop thermo issues because it prevents hear and upper body from cooling itself down. That aside it does way way more then I even describe in this video. The sympathetic nervous controls emotions and ability to feel excitement. I live in hell. Hey, my ex's mother was also defrauded by a charlatan promising her an alternative to blushing and hyperhydrosis, and she too was robbed of a happy, healthy life by ETS; she has been in the deepest pits of hell on Earth for over a decade now. She was stripped of any normality, or even its semblance, in her life, since she was practically given a de facto death sentence by the quack who performed this 'surgery'. She can barely move and has been subjected to a shit ton of severely debilitating medical complications, both physically and mentally (e.g. internal burning of the hands and feet, incredibly profuse sweating, depression etc.). You know it all too well.
Once again, just like with you, this was a case that involved a failure to give fully informed consent, and she tried to get her day in court with him and win monetary compensation, although her case unfortunately never made it to trial (it sounds like it was disposed of). He's a monster in my eyes, and apparently his lawyers used her mental state against her, claiming that her ailment was but a mere figment of her imagination. The fact that the suffering usually begins around five years after the 'surgery' doesn't help with establishing a strong causal link either, but that's exactly what she, and many other victims, faced. She was lucky enough to bring a claim just before the statute of limitations expired, only to be slapped down by a system meant to operate in the interests justice instead of the other one that failed her, whose purpose it was to promote the health and general welfare of humans. I think the irony would be tragic enough to make you laugh if you weren't knee-deep in a pool of your own tears from the misery.
My ex's mother is actually one of the worst recorded cases and has a wealth of knowledge on the 'surgery' and the nervous system. Her case hss also been used as an example in talks by other physicians before regarding this ignominious practice. I absolutely hate to see that you have to share this pain, but I'm so glad you're sharing your plight on RUclips. I'd love to spread more awareness.
She's still trying to get a reverse surgery in either Taiwan or New York, but it's in the range of twenty to forty grand for the surgery alone, and that's pretty damn expensive for most of us, including her. Along with this, a neurosurgeon recently told her that her chances of making even a substantial recovery after the surgery are quite slim, which just didn't help the situation with her mental health at all.
With that said, she's a warrior and like a second mother to me. She has so much to talk about and has battled this bullshit and crippling injustice. But all we can do at this moment is hope that things will get better, because uncertainty of a brighter future is the best we've got for her.
Never stop fighting either too, man. It's not your fault. This whole thing is a farce and feels like a cover-up with the amount of undue good press I've seen it get. ETS is barbarous and if this world were a kinder place, we would have had a scandal shining so bright a light on the scum that continue to profit off the destruction of others' lives that they'd have to change their identites for their own protection.
I'd like to talk with you more and get to know more of your story, or even possibly get you in touch with her or her Facebook group if that's okay. Is there any way I could contact you?
Thanks in advance. I really hope this goes somewhere.
