      Looks like a lot of work but definitely worth it! I have an 01 LB7 I’ve been trying to restore and this was a great help in helping me understand that there’s more to it than just installing a newer dash…

    Man that dash or the newer Tahoe dash would look sick in a 07-14 Tahoe and door panels

    With everything tore apart and gutted would have been chill to add sound and temperature shielding on the sheet metal love this build bratha

      Maybe I didn’t catch it in the video, but after I saw you already changed the break pedal you can do the hydro brake that’s connected to the power steering instead of the vacuum brake system with the booster

      What did you need for the steering wheel conversion? For example, air bag, clock spring? Where did you connect power for heated steering wheel?

      For the glove box scuff if they didn’t come out try using black trim restore/ or the dash(interior) shine/protection

    Man this is baller as fuck. I have swapped stock dashes for stock styles dashes and from my experience i do not envy you at all with all this work lol. Huge respect to you brother

    Change the lock cylinder, go to the scrap yard get like 10 used ones out of any gm car truck van and eventually one will start the truck

    I can i do this project in my GMC 5.3 2005 with out changing engine and the new Speedometer will work??

    This is some great work I've only seen one other channel that has done something similar to what you're doing but I think he only does Ford trucks interior, and custom electric hardness. he does it for living.
    His channel is Zachary McFarlin

      Currently using the 2016 ecu and tcm, but I have a explanation coming up in another video relating to all that and the trouble I been having.

    Did the original vin tag stay? Does the newer dash have the vin tag on it??

      Yes sir it did the vin tag is on the cab body not the dash.

      I’m not entirely sure tbh but I’ll look into it, there is a piece that snaps into place right there on top.

      Sorry man this is why I make videos like this, so I don’t have a garage full of trucks wanting these things. Maybe one day this may be possible for people but it’s something I’m not into doing at this moment.

      You would have to do what everyone else does and use the factory cluster for your truck and fan it in.

      I got like $5500 in the whole build not sure on just that cost. Can’t really say just that being I bought everything to do a entire swap.
