Also aren't operators present at near the -10 region of the promoter, which technically makes the operator downstrean to the promoter but in every diagram you drew it upstream !!

Also the Binding promoter for the activator and repressor are they the same? And if they are same then how do they identify when a repressor or activator is needed to be transcribed? And if they are different then when the promoter for activator encodes a activator then is the promoter for Repressor off?
