Been following for a short while now. Gotta say, this is an awesome build, by far my favorite container home on RUclips! Hoping to build my own one day, so y'all are quite the inspiration! Praying for you guys, keep it up!
Thank you so much!! :)

I'm guessing that y'all will be either putting up the post for the roof or doin another side project 🤷♀️
Thanks so much!! You'll find out in our new video this Saturday!

Next project? The front stairs so you don't need to rely on ladders. Preceded by excavating the front down to the garage floor level.
Thanks for guessing!! You will find out Saturday in our new video :)
You all did a great job 👍.
Thank you!!
You make it all look soo easy, nice. Great job
Thanks so much!! :)
Another Job well done 👍
Thank you!! :)
I'm SO excited for you guys on getting that deck poured ! I'd be gritty as shit ! One big step forward ! Hey,thanks for sharing once again ! Thank God warmer weather is upon us now here in Oregon !!
Thanks so much!! Yes definitely thankful to be out of the rain lol
Pretty cool moving on to new goals🎉
Thank you!! Yes moving along little by little :)
The thumb on this one is crazy
Nice job on the concrete!
Thanks so much!! :)
really starting to take shape now, very much enjoying this build. Keep at it you two...
Thank you so much!! :)
Glad that you gave Tony a special recognition shoutout, he really seemed to be going the "extra mile" for you both in teaching while pouring your slab. Guesses for next step after this... not the usual GWPR.. most likely cleanup after the messy pour or a lot of PPE cleanup on boots, workclothes etc ?
Yes Tony definitely helped us a lot. You will see what's next this Saturday in our new video!! :)
Nice moves!
Thank you!!
Очень интересная стройка! У меня тоже есть участок земли в собственности где я хочу построить дом из контейнера, правда по меньше! Вы молодцы!
Thank you!!
Now that the slab is poured, probably time to enclose the entryway, get yourselves dried in asap with "winter coming"... :-)
Thanks for guessing!! You'll find out in our new video this Saturday :)
Bel lavoro, complimenti
Thank you!! :)
I just purchased your Glass Door Conversion Plans Thanks
Any way you can refere me to the factory who cut your custom glass for you?
Thank you so much!!! Really appreciate it. You can contact any local window and door company near you and they will be able to order the glass panels or refer you to a company who can. :)
Beau boulot 👍
Merci!!! :)
👍👍👍
Thanks!!
Good Job😊😅😅😅😅
Thank you!!
Will you get snowed in during winter...are you isolated..?
No we don't get very much snow here. Just a lot of rain.
❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍
Thanks!!
Next project? Grind weld repeat to close that area in. Maybe a pan floor ceiling. Only you know. Best wishes. It has to be hard to build, film, narrate, and edit so we can live vicariously through you.
Thanks so much!! You will see what's next in our new video this Saturday :)
bonjour 🤝 🤝.VOUS Avez FAITES DU BON BOULOT ,alors on fait travailler son père 😄y a encore du traveil courage👍
Merci beaucoup!! :)
Your project is impressive, but I see alot of helpers working on the cement project and that is far from doing it by yourself the first time, as you earlier stated. I actually did by myself a few of those type projects and believe me you realize what fear is when that happens.
I said we finished the slab ourselves, which we did. We are obligated to call a concrete pump to pour the concrete because it would take weeks to do that amount of concrete by hand with a mixer.
Very short vlog after a big build up all week
Some will be longer, some will be shorter depending on what we are doing. I think the next few will be on the longer side. It's really challenging to try to film and work at the same time.
am 478 👍🙏🇰🇼 watching now
thank for replying, god bless you keep going excellent job , waiting for next video 🇰🇼👍😘🙏
Thank you!!! :)
Love the house, love the environment where it is in. Dislike the bullshit as if this is all happening right now. In the October 2021 Bose commercial filming video, you were at this point of the build. That is almost two years ago…..
Thank you! It's taken me that long to go through our footage and edit it. Just like when they film movies, it doesn't come out the next day or week. I have to balance several things like building, life, etc and also manage to find the time to edit and create the videos. Also being that far behind has allowed me to post a video almost every week, which definitely wouldn't happen if I were doing it in real time because some of these videos took weeks to film.
🇳🇴👍👍👌
Thank you!!!
You are going dry in the Home!
We will get there... one day! :)
@@PacificPinesRanch I love the floor plans and build! Congrats on getting it Done! I was told in the Marine Corps, Slow is better than fast and Wrong!!!! OORAH
Nice job!
Thank you!!
Colossians 2:13-15
King James Version
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Gods blessings over you .
Price of wood? Lol you live in a forest, invest in a portable sawmill or see if anyone around you has one they will let you use.
Unfortunately we don't have that kind of time to mill that amount of lumber
Great project, expertly done. Here's the thing, the first 30% of the video was talk, talk, talk... Then there was some interesting action to enjoy, but unfortunately again interspersed with more bla, bla, bla...
Thanks!
did you guys consider whether cutting an expansion joint was a good idea? with it being exposed above/below. it's gonna be subject to a lot of temperature change.
The plans didn't call for one, and there is a break between the interior and exterior slab at around 10' so we ended up not doing any.
@@PacificPinesRanch dunno how delayed the videos are to where you currently are construction wise. but for the outdoor area with tiling. ...maybe consider a schluter or membrane type system that will let any tile "float" above the concrete. so if there happens to be any cracks or movement it won't translate up through the flooring you do.
either way. it's awesome work. and best of luck to y'all
@@stephenx2857 I've been seeing a lot of the Schluter systems lately. Super cool products! Definitely going to consider that. Thanks so much for the suggestion! :)
hello! :)
👍👍👍
Thank you!!! :)
