    Glad that you gave Tony a special recognition shoutout, he really seemed to be going the "extra mile" for you both in teaching while pouring your slab. Guesses for next step after this... not the usual GWPR.. most likely cleanup after the messy pour or a lot of PPE cleanup on boots, workclothes etc ?

    Your project is impressive, but I see alot of helpers working on the cement project and that is far from doing it by yourself the first time, as you earlier stated. I actually did by myself a few of those type projects and believe me you realize what fear is when that happens.

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  Год назад

      I said we finished the slab ourselves, which we did. We are obligated to call a concrete pump to pour the concrete because it would take weeks to do that amount of concrete by hand with a mixer.

      Some will be longer, some will be shorter depending on what we are doing. I think the next few will be on the longer side. It's really challenging to try to film and work at the same time.

    Love the house, love the environment where it is in. Dislike the bullshit as if this is all happening right now. In the October 2021 Bose commercial filming video, you were at this point of the build. That is almost two years ago…..

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  Год назад

      Thank you! It's taken me that long to go through our footage and edit it. Just like when they film movies, it doesn't come out the next day or week. I have to balance several things like building, life, etc and also manage to find the time to edit and create the videos. Also being that far behind has allowed me to post a video almost every week, which definitely wouldn't happen if I were doing it in real time because some of these videos took weeks to film.

    Colossians 2:13-15
    King James Version
    13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
    14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
    15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Gods blessings over you .

    did you guys consider whether cutting an expansion joint was a good idea? with it being exposed above/below. it's gonna be subject to a lot of temperature change.

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  Год назад +1

      The plans didn't call for one, and there is a break between the interior and exterior slab at around 10' so we ended up not doing any.

    • @stephenx2857
      @stephenx2857 Год назад

      @@PacificPinesRanch dunno how delayed the videos are to where you currently are construction wise. but for the outdoor area with tiling. ...maybe consider a schluter or membrane type system that will let any tile "float" above the concrete. so if there happens to be any cracks or movement it won't translate up through the flooring you do.
      either way. it's awesome work. and best of luck to y'all

    • @PacificPinesRanch
