Well the problem with educational games is that they try too hard, not that they're just "educational games". We need education in our lives and people saying that we don't need educational just tells about everything about them sometimes. I think to make a good game that is educational, you first have include some good elements that people enjoy in video games. Then make the marketing really good and the gameplay rewarding. At the end of the day, educational games are really good, as long as they have the right things in them, their good 👍
I gaurentee you if Nintendo, for whatever reason, decides to re-release/remake the CD-i Zelda games, people would that sh!t right up! (Also, yes, I know about the PC fan-ports.) Bonus: CD-i Zelda's VA actually says she'd love to voice Zelda again.
I have Learn With Pokémon: Typing Adventure. It's one of those games where I wish I had kept the outer cardboard packaging, cause it's quite rare :P That and also the keyboard works as a good portable Bluetooth keyboard as well :)
I've played pokemon dash and it's not as bad as people say. it has more to it than just swiping the screen, you have a big map with poke balls that you need to step on in the correct order and do so as fast as possible. this game has potential, if it had more maps and content or even features it could be more than just a tech demo. it isn't also so easy as it seems
Excuse me Conner, I have a question for you. Could you please review the Parappa anime that aired from 2001 to 2002? And also, could you please review the PJ Berri anime that aired from 2016 to 2017? Pretty please?
Hey You, Pikachu! is actually a pretty fun game so long as your voice picks up. It's kinda fun to have friends play it or watch you play it. Only issue with it is of course it's hard to emulate because of that. But it's definitely not bad.
I guess we were weird kids or maybe just huge nerds but my siblings and I used to looove Mario is Missing on SNES. Our cousins would come over and have a blast too. We all liked reading, so this game was perfect for us 8 year old nerds. Playing and learning at the same time. Great memories 🥰
Personally, I enjoyed Castlevnia Judgment. While not the absolute greatest game, I found it pretty fun and rather challenging, and didn't actually have issues with the motion controls, they worked fine for me. I believe I did use the Wii Motion Plus, though I can't recall if that was a required attachment anyway. I really want a (fanmade, likely) remake of the CDI games that turns them into more traditional Zelda games. Maybe like Link's Awakening, having some 2D side scroller segments for some platforming, but overall fixing up the controls and gameplay and turning the cutscenes into more traditional stuff (dialog boxes and moving sprites). Also, I remember hearing somewhere years ago that part of the issue with Hey You, Pikachu! is that the mic was designed for kids, and thus the game is better able to hear a child's voice, which tends to have a different pitch and vocal range than an adult's voice. So for kids playing back then, it would have worked much better, but for RUclipsrs playing it now to criticize it, it doesn't register their voice well enough and has more issues than normal. I'm not sure the accuracy of that, though, or how much of an impact it actually makes. A modern remake or sequel to that could be cool too though
I think i need to give some context behind hotel mario & faces of evil Back in the day Nintendo was not making their own consoles yet so they teamed up with sony to develop the Nintendo playstation, but Nintendo dropped out of the deal last minute Sony continued on their own to make the playstation Nintendo seeked out Philips to make a deal but Nintendo dropped out again, Philips wanted compensation so Nintendo gave them the right to develop 2 games with their franchises And that is how hotel mario & ganon and the faces of evil where born

That's not how spinoffs work lol Also, I hooe that first "Link'a crossbow training" Edit Was just a joke because if you're series then.. Hoooo boy we have a lot of talking!!
@@juliannocartagena2007not at all I respect your opinion. My issue with the Top 100 is that it completely falls flat on what it intends to be. The majority of the mini games do not deserve to be amongst what’s considered the best of the best and outside of the mini game modes there is barely any content. For me it’s a completely lazy attempt at a celebration of a long going series which is why it’s a bottom tier game for me.
I remember I found a copy of Zelda Wand of Gamelon at a yard sale one day in the early 2000's. They only wanted 25 cents for it. I had to pick it up. I held onto it for several years trying to find a CD-i to play it on but just couldn't find one. I ended up just selling it myself but, I managed to get $25 out of it so I made quite a bit of money out of my quarter. I'm sure I probably could have got more if I had gone online and searched different websites but, I was okay with the $25 at the time.
You may have been able to get more than $25, but that doesn't change how much of a profit you made on the game given you originally bought it for a fraction of that.
I used to play the spinoff kirby games a long time ago with my cousin so they are kind of nostalgic for me. (It would be kind of hilarious if you made a video trashing on the spinoff kirby games just to spite me)

However, my dumbass kid brain couldn't grasp the idea of a Mario game not being a platformer so hard that I got stuck in the first 10 seconds because I didn't know about transitioning to different streets, nor did I think to try talking to people because that's what you did in games like Faxanadu, nor Mario. I therefore hated the game not because it was an edutainment game because I didn't know it was an edutainment game, but rather I hated it because it was a platformer in which I couldn't figure out where to go, which shouldn't be a thing in a platformer.
High-key, I expected Donkey Kong Barrel Blast and PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure to be in this video. there is a fan hack by gamma V called Mario is missing done right where the education part is thrown out the window and now is a 2-D adventure
He showed footage of that too, and mentioned those kind of hacks, albeit briefly.
Your intro is SO nostalgic for me.
