I am old enough to watch KG. Kg had to go to Boston at the time to get the chip. Shannon was absolutely right on every point. Lebron went to the finals in 2007, 5 years after he was drafted with the same team.
Kg took him 12 years after he was drafted to the get to the finals and he had to force A trade just to get to the finals.
LeBron still left n went to Miami to get a ring
LeBron got to the Finals in a much weaker East and got past the older Pistons w/out Ben Wallace which was directly why LeBron scored 27 straight in the 4th, driving to the hole repeatedly where Ben would've been. KG also didn't force a trade. Minnesota and McHale forced the trade on him. Ainge had to call KG and lay out a plan to which he had to agree to in order to have the no trade clause lifted. Lastly, no one in their right minds honestly believes that LeBron would've gone to the Finals by himself in the West. Not with Kobe/Shaq, Dirk/Finley, Nash/Stoudamire, Tim/Tony/Manu, Webb/Peja, R. Allen/R.Lewis. KG couldn't even do it until Cassell and Sprewell got to Minnesota.
Don't forget to mention that you had to have a 50 win team to make the playoffs when KG played in the west

Brandon Trammel honestly I think it’s more because the heat were a “ready made” championship squad where as the bulls built by luck and grooming. Let’s be real nobody knew Scotty was going to be the player he ended up being. Nor did we believe mj was going to prep his body for the bad boy pistons with weight training and conditioning just for the team. When it comes to lebron he jumped ship to a TV dinner squad with a prime dwade and bosh there was no “storyline” there it was a guarantee trip to the finals.
