Can i ask since if i just posted you probably wouldn't of cought the post. Instinctive verse Olympic style shooting. I was always told that instinctive archery is ok for short distances but not long, say 25+yards, but today an instinctive archers proved you can shoot long distances using the "instinctive" which mostly mean both eyes open, and just knowing your skill base and equipment. But then there's dominant eye which we all have. I know some who shoot with their un dominant eye simply because they rather hold the bow in a certain hand. Is there a negative or possitive to either or?

The moment the shirt came off I had an instant recognition: You are actually the ancient god Amor ... who survived to this day and still shoots arrows making people madly fall in love.
Also holy balls so much muscle tension in the legs to hold on to a smooth pole like that. While hands and feet are kind of made for grabbing things, I assume that friction on the tender skin between your thighs will be painful after a while ... (but not for an immortal deity, now it all makes sense!)
No seriously, whenever an Amor is needed to literally shoot an arrow of love in a film ... here we have the perfect person to make a cameo on the nearest lamp pole.

As Ovid wrote, Cupid carries two kinds of arrows, or darts, one with a sharp golden point, and the other with a blunt tip of lead. A person wounded by the golden arrow is filled with uncontrollable desire, but the one struck by the lead feels aversion and desires only to flee.

Have you considered to reinfore your pants, maybe put gaffa tape on the inside? I assume putting it on the outside would mess with the grippyness of the pole or the slicone pole might feel it of, so maybe don't try that? Idk, just a thought

    • @bossyboots5000
      @bossyboots5000 4 месяца назад

I don't know if the tape would work, but there's something called interfacing that is used to make fabric more durable (like for snaps) or stiff (like dress shirt collars). There's a lightweight flexible fusible version that could be ironed on to the inside of the pants at stress areas. There's also the option of adding reinforcement patches to the outside (like riding pants or tweed jackets).

Astonishing! You really are a quite remarkable young man. Highly skilled in both your fields, you inject humour into your videos, at the same time as enlightening your viewer.
I'd never thought twice about pole-dancing, but your channel has shown me how physically demanding it can be. I've seen your Spider-Man video, but have you thought of doing one revolving around Tarzan, or his son Korak? You certainly have that lithe, heroic physique, and incorporating your archery would complete the story for such a character in a dance routine... Anyway, just a thought.
Stay safe, David... And thank you. 😃

Hi, i would like to get a bow for the garden, I'm looking at the Samick Sage 62inch 30lbdw.
Does this sound OK and what arrows should I get?
I will have about 50 metres space to use.
I'm 6ft 2 and other adults will use the bow.
Apologies for asking on here but I have no idea what to get...

This is giving me foot cramps, LOL! I'm trying to help you, long distance and back through time, hold on to that pole with your feet, it seems! 😂
The legs, well, strongest muscles and all that, so they're not cramping. The feet, though... well, I haven't done any barefoot treeclimbing in, let's say, a few years. 😅 But I do recall the feeling of hanging on with toes or the arches of my feet, so the muscle memory is still there (even if one begins to lose memory capacity at my age, lol), which leads to... yep, foot cramps!
Anyway, as odd as the path was that YT sent me down which led me here, I'm okay with it. I know nothing about trick archery shots, a little about archery, nothing about pole dancing which can't also be transferred to treeclimbing, and a bit about the physics involved.
But I do find the blend to be nice, especially when there's the D&D element tossed in. I was a kiddo, not quite a teen, back when D&D first made its way from the West Coast to here in the middle of the country, 7 miles from Nowhere. So I've had it interspersed with my life for ... awhile, now. I haven't actually sat and played in way too long, but its addition here feels right. 😁
Aaaaanyway, thanks for the content. Now to go back and save that PCRF charity video so I can play it on loop overnight. 🙃😉 Well, the timespan that my night owl body considers overnight. 😂

I will say that the no trousers look has something of a ... 80s-D&D-based-fantasy-novel-cover-art vibe? minus that you have human proportions instead of like, exaggerated bodybuilder thing going on.
But then again that sort of seems on-brand for you :D
either way, very cool video! i think it'd be kinda cool to get to try pole dancing, but i'm probably too fat and ugly for it, lol, and anyway i tend to never stick with a hobby (especially a sport) long enough to learn it properly

6:35 Honestly if you had a bit of a longer tunic on, it'd look a lot like Young Link from Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask since he doesn't wear pants/leggings - the tunic covers up his upper legs, at least until you go forward in time and become adult Link.

Just interesting, but does the neighbours of Blumineck know his hobbies? Like, I just imagined how kids jumping on a trampoline bounce a bit higher and as an easter egg discover that their sweet neighbour is an archery stripper. Well, this thought made me smile)))
