who makes that quiver? i want one but can't seem to find a comparable one.
@@gourdguru it’s by Mihai Cozmei!
@@blumineck
Can i ask since if i just posted you probably wouldn't of cought the post. Instinctive verse Olympic style shooting. I was always told that instinctive archery is ok for short distances but not long, say 25+yards, but today an instinctive archers proved you can shoot long distances using the "instinctive" which mostly mean both eyes open, and just knowing your skill base and equipment. But then there's dominant eye which we all have. I know some who shoot with their un dominant eye simply because they rather hold the bow in a certain hand. Is there a negative or possitive to either or?
Alright, I'm convinced.
Time to make a pole dancing ranger subclass!
Nah, this is just an archer valour bard.
I need to see this
I’m currently trying to figure out a rogue acrobat that uses contested performance checks to get sneak attacks the way inquisitive uses insight. And then give them some cool movement features so they end up like a combo of swashbuckler and thief
@@blumineck Please do share that when you have it finished, I would love to try it out. sounds cool as hell, nearly as cool as your videos!
@@blumineck seconding the please share it comment!
Bro is evolving into eros as the video goes along.
😂
Wait until I hit my final form 😂
blumineck: tries a new trick, tears up pants and spontaneously turns into Eros.
RIP pants, your sacrifice will not be forgotten
But will they be missed?
They sure did!
Euripides?
They’ll mend!
I see that pun
Awesome to see the hard work behind the scenes, not only the edited best shots.
Thank you! There’s so much that goes into these!
i hope some day your pioneering moves are translated into badass animation/film with an archer character dodging shots while repositioning themselves and firing back. so cool c:
Thank you so much! I’d love that!
I’d just try and hire him tbh
I could see these moves being used while klimbing or descending scaffolding on a construction site or something like that
I came for the archery, I stayed for the archery, I grew to like the archery mixed with pole dancing, and now you got me watching you even when you just do pole dancing.
I came for the hot looking guy and found the archery interesting. But the hot guy never left and so neither did I.
Well I’m really glad to hear you like this stuff!
@@blumineck You are certainly making the internet more impressive and entertaining!
Yeah pretty much. I saw a dude making archery videos. I thought it was interesting when he added acrobatics and a pole. And now I’m a straight guy just watching a man wearing nothing but a speedo pole dancing
@@maddoxm6807 I'm an hetero-oriented aromantic asexual watching a man doing pole dancing XD
The no pants, yes shirt, and bow with quiver look is giving golden age comic superhero vibes
Haha it’s not a million miles from one of Hawkeyes early looks! Just needs boots
Get some crash pads or something 😂 landing on your head shouldn't mean risking concussions
Problem with those, they reduce the height significantly, cause they are pretty thick 😅
I have some, but they actually make breaking falls harder with a quiver- the arrows catch in the mat and force my spine straight, so I’d rather be able to roll the landing on a hard surface
@@blumineckhow about a helmet? There are tons that look more or less cool and matching your style.
They might not protect your neck, but a cracked skull isn't fun either.
THE most legitimate channel to be sponsored by manscaped.
You are one of these people with skills that should not be possible, yet here you are. Now all that is left is a reaction from Tank Tolman
Tank Tolman has reacted to blumineck already. He was invited to the ship of course.
@@royvanloosbroek7215 Of course he did!
Could you be so kind as to share the link to it? I looked, but didn't find it.
Great video. It's fun to get a behind the scenes look.
Question: Did you develop your upper/lower body strength first than transition to the pole, or did you work them parallel to each other?
I mostly worked them parallel! I had some mild climbing strength beforehand but it was waay less than I have now
David's youtube presence is the true 'Man written by a woman', and I mean this in the most complimentary and unproblematic way possible
Or twink man written by gay man. And I mean this on the most complimentary and unproblematic way possible.
For reallll
100%
As a writer who's also a writer, I take this as a compliment.
Thank you so much! That is a wonderful compliment!
Always important for those of us watching to know about the masses of work that go into perfecting a trick. Really cool!
Thanks! I don’t always want to go into it for every trick, but it’s nice to let people know occasionally!
Please say there is someone off camera in case of injury? Very cool trick.
That's the scariest thing, he's doing the 'practice' over concrete
It would be so much more unsafe to practice archery like this if anyone else is in the yard. I would hope they are inside the house.
@@MrTanzelt there's a ton of materials that could make for an easy defense against even point-blank arrow shots
@@bastionsea2829 Sure, but I wouldn't call someone standing behind a baffle "off camera". They might as well just be watching from inside the house.
@@MrTanzelt mythbusters did it constantly
Your channel is INCREDIBLY niche but me and my fellow bi DND nerds are eating it all up
We sure are!
Haha well I truly appreciate it!
ace archer nerd here, still eating it up and this is making me wanna try pole dancing, as if I have that core strength... David's legendary
@@rainestar82 thank you so much! FWIW, you don’t need anywhere near as much core strength to start with! You build up strength as you learn!
@@blumineck More or less than aerial yoga? I got SO TIRED after a class!!!
Switching to the chrome pole "outfit" gives off classic superhero vibes, like a sort of impromptu Green Archer cosplay!
Killed the pants, killed the grass, killed the move! 🔥
So so cool, love the choreo in the end, and loved seeing some of the hard parts of learning along the way
YEESSSS!!! the choreo at the end!!! So well done!! 🤩🤩🤩😍🤤
Legend of Zelda: Link becomes a pole dancer edition. I'm here for that.😏
Meeee toooooo!!
Welp...
That was the ballsiest man's manscape ad ever...literally.
I hope they compensated you for doing an actual demo.
Your athleticism is insane... how is it that no action hero franchise has not picked you up yet?
I often comment the same thing about his athleticism and action hero status
This comment got me to actually watch the ad! I'm not exactly the target demographic, but that's just a detail.
The poses and near-nudity make you look Cupid-like.
I was seeing that, too!
It’s the creative subtitles that made this one for me 😆 That trick does look pretty terrifying, but I’m glad you were able to get over some of your fear 😅
The quality is great, I could watch you do this training even more than the impressive short clips.
Your display of skill but with added explanation and the tension of experimentation makes it â splendid entertainment piece.
❤thank you.
Blooming heck, you are fit😍
I love that you shared this journey of you learning something new. And that absolutely looks terrifiying. You didi It!!
The moment the shirt came off I had an instant recognition: You are actually the ancient god Amor ... who survived to this day and still shoots arrows making people madly fall in love.
Also holy balls so much muscle tension in the legs to hold on to a smooth pole like that. While hands and feet are kind of made for grabbing things, I assume that friction on the tender skin between your thighs will be painful after a while ... (but not for an immortal deity, now it all makes sense!)
No seriously, whenever an Amor is needed to literally shoot an arrow of love in a film ... here we have the perfect person to make a cameo on the nearest lamp pole.
I can see him as Cupid/Eros, or even Apollo.
@@hawkeyescoffee6399 It seems like it's all the same. Greek Eros, Roman Cupido/Amor. And modern day Blumineck. Usually portrayed with wings.
As Ovid wrote, Cupid carries two kinds of arrows, or darts, one with a sharp golden point, and the other with a blunt tip of lead. A person wounded by the golden arrow is filled with uncontrollable desire, but the one struck by the lead feels aversion and desires only to flee.
Now our hero doesn't just need new pants but also a pair of nice feathery wings!
I'd love it if someday you're in an action/romance either as a character with your skills, or literally just cast as yourself. Where we see combat situations where you gain advantage from the pole.
I mean, legitimately as a game designer, some of the poses and moves are dynamic enough that I would totally bring them up as reference for character animation in a game for my animators.
That was impressive! And I enjoyed learning how you go about learning a new move. You are a very brave guy to do that, especially after landing on your head before. Bravo!
Learning new stuff is scary, especially when it involves falling. Kudos for staying with it! Also, if anyone asks you were doing an Eros cosplay/tribute in the trunks and quiver. It certainly fits.
Emblematic of "do it scared." Awesome to see and a crazy cool transition!
That was the most sincere spot for Manscaped I ever saw on RUclips.
Seriously though, I hope your arm didn't hurt too much. Hell of a skin pull on that last routine.
i want a video of him dressed as cupid on valentines day next year
100% this
Thank you for showing us this process 😅 I hope the wife was nearby...just in case. The hazards of the trade. My gosh! It isn't something people think about. Please don't hurt yourself for our entertainment! So proud of you that you got it, even though you looked nervous ❤
Also find it hilarious that your sponsor is Manscape, but so happy you have a sponsor 😂❤
Aw yeah give me your ball razor sponsors, Archdaddy
You make me incredibly uncomfortable. Have a good day
@@Justalittleguy3848 same to you
Never seen a commenter so enthusiastic (?) for a sponsor before.. and I kind of love it
😂😂😂😂
As always, rather invest in the patreon of the creator than in buying the sponsored product. 😊
That was great. I do love watching someone who's already competent learning a new thing!
Thanks for the heart attack Tobias
I love seeing videos like this. I'm gonna try this next time I'm at the studio... minus the bow, I'm not that cool
I think you need some sort of a split tunic-length top for "the look" in pantsless circumstances. /clearly focusing on the important things
This was amazing to watch! Really, really cool to see how much work goes into making such shots, and some of the reasoning behind the movement, and such. Great video! :)
Loved watching you learn a new trick! RIP pants, lost to the silicone.
The musical changes at certain points were, well, on point. 😸
And I think that look is simply a slightly skimpier version of the usual bard/ranger ensemble. 😹
Loved the routine at the end. Can't wait to see this new trick incorporated more when you're a bit more comfortable with it! 😸💖
Yeah! But whenever you‘re ready, no pressure.
That was incredibly impressive
This video is awesome, firstly, and it was absolutely wonderful to see this happen, but I also desperately want to know where you got that shirt.
Psylo fashion.

Well done David, everything is better with epic music isn't it? Well done.
"a stage pole is always going to wobble more than one properly attached to the floor and ceiling" ok so why not screw it into the sky? like there's clouds right there
R,I.P. trousers but that was very impressive, if mildly terrifying!
Commenting to help with the pants fund, they died so that we might be gifted view of your athleticism and skill! (But seriously dude you're awesome.)
Amazing work! The entire routine was wild! I was surprised there wasnt even a mat beneath you! somethign to cushin the fall if you did bop onto your head!! You really do look amazing! DO you do workouts other than pole and archery? Sorry about your pants, but the swimwear is *chefs kiss*!
6:34 is a perfectly good comic book superhero look
I appreciate seeing the behind the scenes! These tricks are extraordinary and just look outright supernatural when done with the quiver and bow!
that is SUCH a cool move sequence! It looks brilliant :3 Thank you for sharing!
commenting for the algorithm! hopefully you can get yourself some new clothes 😅
I represent someone in gotham city that wants to interview you for a new employment opportunity.
Do you ever use the bow at the club, or is it RUclips only?
The full video of a fantastic "Witcher" themed routine that incorporates a bit of his archery is posted here! Scroll back and binge some of his earlier videos, all of them are well worth watching!
The power up worked! I like the process explanation for learning a new move. I’m interested in poll dancing and other off the ground dancing and you are inspiring to me.
David? Nah, your names blumineck
"Nooo, you can't move your body like that. It's just a fantasy in games. It's not possib..."
Yeah? Then watch this - Blumineck
Amazing as always. I just jump when you do those turns on the pole gosh.. love everything and just , I was nervous for you and you too and you did it quickly.. I could fix those pants, in a jiffy.. lol.. I make costumes in all characters so.. again love the moves and techniques and how flexible you are is amazing and stay safe mate and Cheers!!!😊👌🎯🏹
Oh you amazing, skilled Cupid!
You are so underrated, your videos are great
Hey, would you try your tricks while clinging on a big strong man? Your audience will not dare to ask you this, but I know they'll DIE to see it.
you should act in a movie with an archer assassin disguised as a pole dancer or something, bet you'd fit that role perfectly! :3
Honey, on you everything is a look!
Amazing video, but for heck's sake, if it's a new move then why aren't there soft mats down to make it a little safer?😊
oh your poor arm, I hope you have some tiger balm for it. Keep being you, you are awesome
Terrifying is entirely the right word!!! Please, please, please use some crash mats! ♥
Have you considered to reinfore your pants, maybe put gaffa tape on the inside? I assume putting it on the outside would mess with the grippyness of the pole or the slicone pole might feel it of, so maybe don't try that? Idk, just a thought
I don't know if the tape would work, but there's something called interfacing that is used to make fabric more durable (like for snaps) or stiff (like dress shirt collars). There's a lightweight flexible fusible version that could be ironed on to the inside of the pants at stress areas. There's also the option of adding reinforcement patches to the outside (like riding pants or tweed jackets).
@@bossyboots5000 So, iron on the gaffa tape then?
(I'm joking, you are absolutely right, that is a better idea)
Can I just ask where you get all your clothes? Your fashion sense is as good as your aim
I would be happy to use my sewing skills to try and repair those pants!
In your element here! 🔥🔥
Ps. Can you be sponsored for a helmet next?
Would a bike helmet get in the way of learning this trick?
Cherubic, my dude!
That was sooooo good!! Thanks for sharing your amazing new move for us and getting just a tiny bit injured in the process!! RIP to your pants (pun intended) and here's to your every growing success. We love ya, dude!! 🤩💖
Astonishing! You really are a quite remarkable young man. Highly skilled in both your fields, you inject humour into your videos, at the same time as enlightening your viewer.
I'd never thought twice about pole-dancing, but your channel has shown me how physically demanding it can be. I've seen your Spider-Man video, but have you thought of doing one revolving around Tarzan, or his son Korak? You certainly have that lithe, heroic physique, and incorporating your archery would complete the story for such a character in a dance routine... Anyway, just a thought.
Stay safe, David... And thank you. 😃
That would be a fun routine concept for sure! Thanks for the ideas, and the compliments
Watching you perform is amazing yo see.
Ok I have decided, you are my next dnd character
Here's an extra comment to support your pants
Thank you for showing us the process. I aspire to be strong enough to do one of those tricks someday.
Well if I ever get around to writing my big urban fantasy work with archer characters in it, I know where to look for reference on shots like this!
Ok, now I'm convinced, time to play a poledancing ranger.
I've never seen a ranger+bard multiclass but now I reeeaaaally wanna see and/or make one
This was so legitimately enthralling, amazing work! Wonderful editing, great job showing step-by-step how you approached this and all in all it looked wonderful!
YOU DID THE COOLEST THING!!!! ❤
Looking like a comic book hero here
For any poledancers interested in learning the routine he did.
first routine
Swan spin --> polestep --> chinese climb --> buddha sit --> layback
with feeling:
Gemini --> superman --> shoulder mount --> cupid --> aerial invert --> outside leg hang --> cupid --> buddha sit --> layback
My thighs are screaming just WATCHING this! NOICE, dude!!!
Not sure if thirsty, or impressed.
Wait...I'm ace and straight. I am highly impressed!
That second to last one was so smooth! Can't believe you got it so quickly, well done! 🤩👏👏👏 Also, the Superhero Landing, awesome!
Check you out, getting a sponsor! Moving up, Blume. 👏
ETA: Don't RIP the pants, looks like they could be mended. Also, this was a joy to watch. It's great to come along the process with you. You nailed the hell out of the move. 👏🙌
"Don't worry censors, it's necessary and swimwear" 😂
@blumineck
Hi, i would like to get a bow for the garden, I'm looking at the Samick Sage 62inch 30lbdw.
Does this sound OK and what arrows should I get?
I will have about 50 metres space to use.
I'm 6ft 2 and other adults will use the bow.
Apologies for asking on here but I have no idea what to get...
This is giving me foot cramps, LOL! I'm trying to help you, long distance and back through time, hold on to that pole with your feet, it seems! 😂
The legs, well, strongest muscles and all that, so they're not cramping. The feet, though... well, I haven't done any barefoot treeclimbing in, let's say, a few years. 😅 But I do recall the feeling of hanging on with toes or the arches of my feet, so the muscle memory is still there (even if one begins to lose memory capacity at my age, lol), which leads to... yep, foot cramps!
Anyway, as odd as the path was that YT sent me down which led me here, I'm okay with it. I know nothing about trick archery shots, a little about archery, nothing about pole dancing which can't also be transferred to treeclimbing, and a bit about the physics involved.
But I do find the blend to be nice, especially when there's the D&D element tossed in. I was a kiddo, not quite a teen, back when D&D first made its way from the West Coast to here in the middle of the country, 7 miles from Nowhere. So I've had it interspersed with my life for ... awhile, now. I haven't actually sat and played in way too long, but its addition here feels right. 😁
Aaaaanyway, thanks for the content. Now to go back and save that PCRF charity video so I can play it on loop overnight. 🙃😉 Well, the timespan that my night owl body considers overnight. 😂
Surprising yourself into the next pose sounds an awful lot like distracting yourself into flying.... 🤩🤩🤩 #hitchhikers-guide
damn dude, you're a FIEND on that pole!
Thank you! I’ve been working on it for a while!
Amazing and superb! Very well done indeed!
It is "a look": what many of us wished would happen in any/all of the Robin Hood movies! (Robin Hood + Cupid = WIN!)
I will say that the no trousers look has something of a ... 80s-D&D-based-fantasy-novel-cover-art vibe? minus that you have human proportions instead of like, exaggerated bodybuilder thing going on.
But then again that sort of seems on-brand for you :D
either way, very cool video! i think it'd be kinda cool to get to try pole dancing, but i'm probably too fat and ugly for it, lol, and anyway i tend to never stick with a hobby (especially a sport) long enough to learn it properly
I was never fan of youtube shorts, but I'm starting to appreciate them, since that's how I found your channel. The stunts are mind-blowing, honestly, and your videos just radiate rejecting toxic masculinity. Hands down, man
Really cool to see people learn new things :D That drop absolutely looks terrifying. Even more so with the concrete underneath... Fingers crossed ad/sponsor money can get you some new trousers AND some padded ground cover.
I wonder when they'll start working on a movie or TV show for "young hawkeye". Hell, it's worth writing just to cast you in the lead!
Also, I would love it if you did a photoshoot so I can practice drawing such dynamic positions🏹 . Actually, maybe you could do a charity calendar, I bet you have enough followers who would buy it.
6:35 Honestly if you had a bit of a longer tunic on, it'd look a lot like Young Link from Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask since he doesn't wear pants/leggings - the tunic covers up his upper legs, at least until you go forward in time and become adult Link.
Maybe you should prepare a Valentines Amor video this summer! You definitely look the part!
Just mindblowing the tough work behind your art!❤
That was nerve-wracking to watch!! Thank you for showing us the process. I'm very glad you didn't land on your head! 😳
Just interesting, but does the neighbours of Blumineck know his hobbies? Like, I just imagined how kids jumping on a trampoline bounce a bit higher and as an easter egg discover that their sweet neighbour is an archery stripper. Well, this thought made me smile)))
But in all the other things, it's very interesting to watch. Hope dude is happy with what he's doing. And clearly he will miss these pants)
Don’t know how I ended up at your channel (months ago) but I’m glad I did. Training looks terrifying, but the results are fantastic to watch!
