just buil a room that is as much money as you have, place a roof over it and delete the walls! the you will gget the money for the wlls back but everthing under the roof is protected and if you have tiny living it only counts floor tiles so you can have a tiny house without walls:). You still get all the perks, and get tokeep the money.

When you sent the welcome wagon away, all I could think was, "but they have fruitcake!"
There are two more dumpsters in evergreen harbour. One is next to the bar and there is another you don’t need to leave the area for over by the water. It’s a lot quicker to run between the two of them since you don’t need the load screen.
You should change the lot to a tiny house to get double skills with the horse.
Does the horse also get double the xp or is it just the sim??
Both I think! Pretty sure James Turner was taking the horses in his LP to a tiny home lot to level up
You can shelter the plants to have them not go out of season. You can put them on a platform also and theyre considered sheltered and won’t go out of season ❤

Don't forget, you can also throw trash, dirty dishes, dyes, etc back into the dumpsters to fill it up so you can dumpster dive immediately. Also I love your channel and I'm so excited about this Lets Play ❤

Just a tip, hold onto your trash in your inventory so you can add it to empty dumpsters!
Firstly, I Love your sense of humor, your accent and your all around personality.
I have some tips if you will take them from an older lady who loves The Sims franchise!
1. You can shelter the plants by placing the roof to overhang over the plants. If you wish to sell the seed instead of planting them; plant them first then go into build/buy mode and sell the plants that you don't want - this will sell for more than what the seeds were worth!
2. Make your lot type a Tiny Home. This will help gain skills faster etc.
3. Buy the cheapest bookshelf then sell the books in the bookshelf. Only have skill building books so when your sim decides to read anything - it's a skill building book as well!
4. Save your trash. This can be added to dumpsters at anytime.
5. Keep harvesting the Prairie Grass - you will collect tons of nectar in that.
6. Make sure your horse (when you get one) doesn't have access to the prairie grass or you won't get a chance to harvest and earn.
7. Always have the horses feed filled with the grass you collect.
8. You can sell access prairie grass to the store.
9. When you are at any bar or nightclub - order chips - it's free!
10. Make sure when you place any food in your inventory - you look at how long it will last without being placed in the fridge.
11. Nectar stores faster in the basement in the Nectar storage. Just buy one - it holds a lot. There are some options on how to check what the aging is on each one.

You could convert your house into a tiny house so you gain skills faster 😊

You make more money harvesting it and using it to feed the horse in his $50 trough. If the horse eats the grass down, that $2,000 bottle of nectar doesn't go into your inventory😁

for the ranch events you don’t need to have pre-existing friends/connections! There’s an option at the top of the sim list for open invitations and you can invite just random sims that will show up and participate
I can not exclaim my excitement enough for this series 🤩🤩
Pro tip: If you sell the trashy dumpster items directly from your household inventory, you receive full price for the items.

I'm playing a rags to riches challenge as well and I think EA got rid of the Go Away interaction, I haven't seen it in at least a week or two. Great LP. You're so fun to watch.😊

Ignore owning a horse and get a nectar maker. And some chickens or goats.
is it still worth it to get the nectar maker if you don’t have a basement to age them in? does the nectar still sell for a lot?

If you put plants under a roof (pointed or flat) then they're categorized as "sheltered" and grow all year round. For tree plants like apples you have to plant them unsheltered first then move them with the move objects cheat for them to be "sheltered". Might be a bit of a cheat, but it is nice lol.
Eventually, I'd recommend building a greenhouse for all the plants, including the trees! That's what I do every time. I make sure to fertilize everything as often as it'll allow too, that way they become worth more. Gardening is super lucrative, and Patchy from Seasons is a great option if you want the help. Gardeners cost more in the long run. Unless you have a high relationship with a smart speaker, gardners cost money.

One thing I discovered, by leaving my un-age nectar in my inventory and not doing anything about it, days later, it aged without putting in any container or basement. It continues to age as days go by - and the price keep going up - pretty cool.

If you go to willow creek, windenberg, or the one with cats and dogs (I can't believe I'm blanking on the name of it, lol). There are lily bushes scattered around. Then in oasis springs in the very back you can go fishing and catch some really good stuff.
About the burn item from dumpster dive, if you sell it, you get the actual new purchase price, so if you want it, you can just purchase the same item back without costing you any - no need to recover it for an extra fee. Or buy a cheaper item and gain whatever left.
You could get a bush to pee in. And a lunch box for quick meals this looks like a fun let’s play

I wish we didn't get as much dye as we do dumpster diving if we have the freegan trait, I think we should just get household goods that meet basic needs of all Sims' ages, not just the adults '. I think it's great they find kids' toys, I just also wish we could also find toddler beds, baby pottys, infant cradles, bookcases, and maybe even workout equipment.
I would like to see this played with mostly staying in horse ranch world and using the pack to give me more ideas
Good day, whiny Brit greetings from NYC. I did a rags to riches play, and what helped me when my sim went dumpster diving is to keep your sims inventory fully with trash instead of putting the trash in the bin at the sims home put it in their inventory and drag it to the dumpster while your sim is dumpster diving and the dumpster will fill up every time you drag the trash from your sims inventory to the dumpster. There is another dumpster on the first recycling lot that barely any of the other sims go to that one tends to be full a lot because everyone is using the dumpster in the recycling building when you appear on the lot turn around and go the opposite way and you will see the other dumpster and also click on the piles of trash to see what you can drag to the dumpster or put in your sims inventory for later dumpster diving

Hey Karla! To get sims to leave immediately you have to click on the sim you want to leave, go to mc command center, then mc cheats, the first option should be to make sim leave! Love your videos ❤️
If you click on a sim and go to MC Command Center it’s either under sim commands or mc cheats, you can “make sim leave”. You can literally force them to get the hell away from your dumpsters!
Every time someone showed up at the dumpster I was chanting "Reset!" Thats how I've managed to get rid of many annoying sims, a true savior. For some reason my current household's neighbors keep popping into the apartment despite it being locked for neighbors, and the current one fucking stole a painting that was almost done that I KNOW was going to be a masterpiece, I've seen them before, and my sim is in debt and needed that money. And now it's gone. But the reset kept him away for at least a few hours 😭
It's driving me a little mad that you have a fridge but keep all your 4+ servings of food in your inventory letting it go bad way faster

When you're low in cash, it's best to build tiny house for all the perks you get like lower bills and faster skills gaining etc. Also instead of dumpster diving, you can just spend 100 dollars on a gift box under "Holiday in decoration" and "rummage for gifts" for as long as you want and then sell them all for quick a lot of money. I start my game with zero and took 6 selfies for that 100-dollar gift box and everything else is easy peacy lol.

4:15 I just thought of a mod I'd like to have. Just like in TS3 where your sim has to pay for a taxi, my sims will have to pay to go to another town. 😆
You can put the trash from your lot and the dyes and such back into the dumpsters to refill them.
You can sell the ruined dumpster items for full price as long as you never place them on your lot, you need to sell them directly from your inventory
