Your comment doesn't count and I can't support it or we will look like Ventrac conspiracy theorists out to make everyone in the business more efficient 🤣
One of my biggest pet peeves is content creators explaining themselves to people on the internet. Sir you’re doing one helluva job making people’s lawns look great. The client is satisfied so no explanation needed. Stay busy my friend
i cant handle the hot temperatures that well. i couldnt work outside in summer thats for sure. i respect this guy. hard work, does a good job, even if its very hot and he is miserable from it. hope the home owner makes it look nice. good video
Okay the reality is the people that says you can do it the old-fashioned way either live in their mom's basement and play video games and watch RUclips videos lives in an apartment or a condo I'm going to give it about 3% of your viewers actually get out and cut their own yard probably 10% of small businesses and the rest are the ones that are allergic to water so they can't go out and mow the grass
I think the Ventrac vs scissors logic is applicable to this job as well. If you just want the minimal maintenance, just pave the damn yard. But this looks really nice IMHO, and as with any yard, it will look as nice as you're willing to put time, money, and effort, into maintaining it. Job well done, thank you for this content :)
I find it strange when people don't consider their own bodies as a liability. It's ALWAYS better when a piece of equipment, expensive or not, breaks or wears out rather than YOU.
coming from an older person, take those viable short cuts...yes it saves time but also protects your knees and other joints. They do wear down. it's not laziness, it's proactive common sense 😎
The ventrac bring the bank account back. Invest in tools to keep yourself sustainable and you can make more profit long term. Especially in a market where people are loosing by way of charging too much.
Here I am excited because I just upgraded from a wheelbarrow to a gorilla cart. 😂 this seems like it’d be so nice for y’all that do commercial jobs, wish I could justify it as a homeowner.
I wanted to apologize for not blurring your info out on that short. I didn't think ahead to how immature people would be. I just thought your question was a good discussion point and didn't think further. I am sorry!
@@CopperCreekCuts no hard feelings at all. I watch you all the time and think you do great work. It was just my opinion on the height. I do apologize for the way I worded it. Just shocks me that some people are so low that they only focus on someone’s name. Would like to meet up one day I’m in the Jacksonville area dealing with my rentals a lot.
In my experience, adding a small strip of mulch around a house/garage/fence is worth the hassle and headache just to avoid having to use a string trimmer with every mow. Alternatively, I've seen people do 2-3' wide garden beds around their foundation and grow huge crops of vegetables.
You can buy mulch from a landscape supply yard and buy by the cubic yard. Sometimes it’s easier to use bags to move it around. We tend to buy a yard and have it dumped into the truck and scoop it out into a wheel barrow or 5gal buckets.
Great question! A few things work against me there. I live in a small rural area with relatively few choices for mulch and only one option for bulk mulch. The bulk mulch is not much cheaper, I would have saved maybe $5-$10 bucks on this job. Loading the bagged mulch at Walmart could have been avoided though, and that took 20 or 30 minutes. Throw 9 bags in from the ground, then climb into bed and organize the 9 neatly, repeat. The biggest issue is I don't think I could have had them dump the amount of mulch I needed in the trailer and still had room to pull in the Ventrac. The pile that forms when they dump is no where near an efficient use of space as contained bags I can stack. I could have used the Ventrac to push it all to the front of the trailer, but that makes scooping it out difficult as I now compacted it all. Also, scooping loose debris from the trailer is a bit tricky with the tie downs I have on the floor, uneven bits in the decking, and it's hard to see over the bucket in the seat of the Ventrac when I have those extensions on the sides.
@@CopperCreekCuts As a one man show myself, definitely agree with you. I'd choose bags over bulk any day, too much potential cleanup plus additional potential mess ups or specific tools/vehicles needed. Sucks for the environment but it is what it is.
I’ll never push a wheel barrow around again. We’re not getting any younger lol. Nice use of the Ventrac, Brad!
Definitely not getting any younger🗣

Eliminating physical labor is one of the smartest things you can do in your business.
It’s the only way to make yourself more efficient. Mechanization is key.

A big plus is getting to work with your wife. The two of you are creating good memories.
Didja ever consider getting a sod/turf cutter for jobs like this? ❤ 😊
awsome job man.. gotta love when neighbor comes over to chat haha.. Gotta get you some signs to put out when your doing a project.

I would never put mulch against the house or even near the house, too many ants, bugs and termites.
...I tho't the same thing--now this will need to be kept edged. Ai yai yai. 🙄🤷🏼♀️👩🏼🌾💚 =^..^=
They need to get some type of edging installed we did concrete edging and it's made a huge difference

What I learned from the admirable sage of the 1980s, Scrooge McDuck: Work Smarter, not harder!
I find it strange when people don't consider their own bodies as a liability. It's ALWAYS better when a piece of equipment, expensive or not, breaks or wears out rather than YOU.
I don’t know why anyone would talk against preserving your body! Work smarter not harder!
That looks so beautiful.
Time is money.
I literally always ignore the desk jockeys. They don’t know shit about this line of work.

hey copper creek cuts lawn care, what kinda music you listen to when doing yard work if any?
A thing unused is a useless thing. If you got a Ventrac, use it. To heck with the nay-sayers.
Great job Mr and Mrs Brad! Looks great, as always

Easy the way to go. Mow on Mow on👍
Great for you! Work smart, not hard!
Nicely done!
I appreciate your transparency, and I also think the yard looked great!
It looks good
Good job
Work smarter not harder. If you have the equipment to make it easier then do it. Great video

You know you're killing it when you whip out the VenTrac. Best decision ever!
Hi this is Brad with Copper Creek Cuts, a lawn care company in Northeast Florida
Can you not buy mulch by the scoop at a landscaping place? All that plastic waste seems excessive.
I’m not being judgmental I’m just curious.
