By destroying the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Israel broke international law and endangered world peace. Iran responded in a very balanced way by using its old drones and missiles to do little damage.
If Israel once again celebrates aggression, it will definitely be excluded from the world community.
Iran will be a far more attractive partner for the USA in the Persian Arab region than Israel.
Israel will have to accept this, unless it wants to risk an Iran-Israel war, which would also mean the end of Israel.

Iran would have been satisfied with a UNSC condemnation of Israel's attack on its consulate, but until Iran had retaliated meaning, it was Israel's 'go' you couldn't get a 'Western' leader to even acknowledge that Iran had a right to self-defence. As for the story that Israel has agreed not to start a war between the US and Iran (yes, that's who Israel sees fighting Iran, not Israel.), in return for being 'allowed' to carry out the next stage of it's genocide in Gaza by invading Rafah, leading to almost immediate starvation across Gaza; I have never felt so sick at anything in my life, and I am not a young man.

Not sure about anyone else, but until I knew that no nuclear facilities had been breeched and that no major retaliatory attack by Iran was going to happen, I wasn't going to be able to sleep. It has eluded me since the beginning of the horrors in Gaza. But the start of WWIII or another major nuclear disaster, who could sleep with those thoughts looming?
