I’m so grateful to Kerry Lord for allowing me to film this special video as a fan, for fans. And of course to the whole of Team Toft for being so welcoming.

Thank you, Martyn, for taking us along. To me you are the best TOFT ambassador out there... I wish they'd offer you a permanent job :) You're so right, what a place to be able to work! I especially love all the animals there.
Thank you Martyn. You lucky thing having such a special visit. My husband drove to Tofts in 2009 (about an hour away from us) to buy alpaca yarn and a pattern for a scarf and hat. It was a Christmas gift. Tofts was just a small knitting shop then with samples of sweaters and yarn to buy. I made the hat and scarf and love the warmth and feel of it and wear them every winter. So cosy 🧶
I totally enjoyed this video. I am not a crocheter, but the process fascinated me. Each employee was a delight. Thank you for sharing. Thank you to Toft for allowing this video.
What an absolute privilege for you to have behind the scenes access at Toft. What a lovely day you must have had 🥰
Office envy! You name it - tho I can't complain with my home office (independently of pandemic and long before).
I'm sure they get lots of applications for every job they could possibly offer or not offer at TOFT now 😂
Something like "coffee bean refiller" comes to mind.
That's some stash, isn't it? I'll never complain about having too much yarn ever - has Mark seen this? haha

That's an eye opener - labels by hand? Weighing stuffing, each kit?? Wow.
I'd never thought of trying to dye with pots etc. but with those bottles and just hands it doesn't look too bad.. hm. But no, not enough time really 😅
Gosh those alpacas, super cute, and the ducks doing polonaise! How funny.
Yep you were quite late with the entry this time for imaginists. But good with filming, I'm looking forward to the round up.
An hour again, whooho!
What else? Right! My June YAL is finished and blocked - first major modification on a Stephen West pattern I did. Had to change the bind off, picot is 😒 Doing another BO does not sound so major but I turned a pattern detail into a sideways bind off so that matches another side of the triangle now. (happy dance)
July YAL is right round the corner (still have to wind the wool) and I'm at the third last square of Rowan blanket KAL. Yay! Dreading the blocking and sewing tho hahaha

What an amazing place and process. Thank you for showing us. The women seemed so supportive of each other and really made the whole process work. I may switch to crochet!

What a wonderful day you had! I think my favorite ones are the animals, like the bears and bunnies. And the Alpaca's, I loved seeing the baby and all of them. Thank you for sharing such a fun filled day. Oh, and that huge top floor of box and box of yarn! All of us yarny people could get lost in there!

Living in Australia, it is quite expensive to purchase from Toft because of shipping costs, but I still love all that they create and one day I will definitely bite the bullet and get me some Toft!
