Another great review Jerry. Sad to see the Ultra Limited go! Another BIG mistake by HD! I hate the direction the Co. is going. The Ultra Limited is the last of the iconic classic touring bikes. I'm very happy with my Rushmore Touring collection and am about to pull the trigger on another new leftover '23 Street Glide Special. Keep up the great reviews! .
Well, Jerry, you did it again. This is Florida Man and the last time I watched one of your videos, I ran right down to Newport Richie Harley Davison, and bought that 2010 Heritage Classic. Now you make me want to run down again and buy this Ultra..🙂
I waited for about 2 years for HD to come out with another Ultra Limited CVO and was disappointed when they didn’t. When the 2023 120th anniversary color came out, I bought one!! Now, after learning the Ultra is done, I have more peace about my buying decision.

great overview Jerry. Beautiful bike. sorry to see it go. i have a 2013 with 75000 on it. They're rock solid. They're out of my price range now that I'm retired. thanks for sharing.
I do love that Tobacco fade, reminds me of an American made Fender Stratocaster. I have a 2019 Ultra Limited and it is the best! Cross country bike. It was made for it.
Another stupid decision by by Harley corporate. Milking the customer by charging them to add on the tour pack and 13" shocks to make a long distance tourer.
It is stupid to stop the manufacturing of this particular bike. I agree completely with you, it may be the softer, most comfortable bike existing today. I am more and more using it even for very short trips, just like a bicycle. It is so well balanced, so soft... Mine is the 2023 Anniversary with a stage I torque. Just perfect for me.
I really like that color combination. I saw it for the first time at Daytona Bike Week this year. I have a friend who bought the Tri-Glide with that paint scheme. I have a '22 Ultra Limited. I love it! It is very convenient. Every inch of my bike gets used. I've been in 16 states this year. 17 last year. Yes, I slowed down. LOL! I hate to see it go, but all things change.
If I take a StreetGlide, load it up like an Ultra with the seat, tourpack, and more, will I get a higher trade in value for it later? NO! It will be evaluated like any striped down stock StreetGlide. You just lost all that accessories investment. $$$. So why would someone be enticed to trade in later? Hence, decreased sales for H-D again and customer loses more money again. This Harley thing is starting to be a real money pit. I think I’ve just about had it with them.
@ Yeah, I know. Then someone with Polaris will chime in and claim Harley was really AMF for a few years, blah blah blah. Basically I’m just pointing out that the Challenger Pursuit and that other model will probably increase their sales on Harleys behalf.
I think dropping the Limited is a mistake. I know sales have been down but it's probably because of the already exorbitant prices. I love the Limited and have owned 5 of them. I'm buying a 2024 Streetglide this week but would have bought a Limited had they been upgraded.
That's a good looking bike and thanks for the look at it! Cancelling the model is just another swirl around the bowl for HD. It's pretty clear that Zeitz and his woke cohorts are determined to kill the brand. I imagine that starting next year many buyers will just get their tour pak from Advanblack or some other aftermarket seller rather than take it in the shorts from Harley.
Harley Ultra styling absolutely has a top notch in motorcycle design history/tradition. They are far,far from being the best touring motorcycles in the world, having owned BMW, Honda Goldwings. But you will look good out on the roads.I currently own a 2018 Harley Ultra CVO that I bought new, while a great and capable touring bike, it is not the best tourer that I have owned. I believe the Honda goldwing is a better bike for the money for Long distance riding. Since these bikes are not that popular anymore they going to an optional add on package which makes sense to me.
Well, they lost me as a potential customer. I've ridden the Roadglide CVO ST recently and I like the powertrain but not the Roadglide platform. The Streetglide is ok, but I want a from the factory Ultra if I buy an HD next year new or I am not interested in anything else they have to sell. I do like the Indian Roadmaster Dark horse so it definitely is worth a test ride now.
Well that was a short window to get them cheap. Now they will make them obsolete for a model year or two and that will jack up the values before they release them again.
Its a shame they are dicontinuing this bike it is really what people i think invisage as a harley davidson , if i were to buy one this would be what i would be looking at ,i was always wondering how at the same height as you how i would go flat footing a bike this size as i said it is truly a shame they will stop making these really nice looking bike had one come up along side me at the lights the other day could not stop looking at it even in the black they look great .

Motorman, you never make mistakes in your videos, until today. Harley’s aren’t made in America, they are assembled in America. Toured the production plant and everything is “made” overseas. Bought brand new bikes in 2018, in 6 months every bolt had rust, out of the weather in a covered carport. But the humidity in the air is enough to rust the bikes. I love them, but I will probably never have another one. Metric cruisers are cheaper and cheaper to repair. Especially the batteries and lights are cheaper.
Yeah, I was going to get a Softail Standard to build my credit and have the pleasure of trying out the M8 motor, but the political bs and working in an indie shop showing me all the weird crap the newer bikes pull just… Turned me off of the idea. I’ll stick with pre-EFI Harleys, thank you.
I've owned a bunch of Harley's and never had a single one rust. As for foreign parts, what product can you buy that doesn't have foreign parts? I'll wait here. Fords, Chevy's, all have foreign parts and are not even ''assembled in the U.S..Indian, foreign parts, even Japanese bike have parts made in China and many models not even made in Japan.

Motorman, your 32 degree lean angle claim that it’s the most of any heavyweight touring bike raised an eyebrow, because I thought the 2018+ Goldwing and BMW RT and K1600 lean angles were quite a bit higher.
I have a 2016 Ultra Limited that I bought new and I love it and I can’t believe HD is discontinuing this model also. The CEO of HD is going to run this company out of business. My next bike and the next after that will be an Indian.
The rumour that the Ultra Limited will be discontinued has been around for a while. Is this still only a rumour, or is it a fact now? I've been wanting to update to a newer model for a while now, but colour choices haven't been very interesting. And now, no chrome. harley still finding ways to shoot themselves in the foot 🤣 if they don't get rid of Mr. Puma sneakers CEO, they'll be a footnote in history. Reagan isn't going to bail them out this time.
Reagan never bailed out H.D. Reagan put tarrifs on Japanese bikes over 700cc's. Just like Japan put tariffs on all American made motorcycles. Two years later Reagan took the tariffs off since they had no effect. Japanese company's just started making 699cc bikes. However, Japan still has tariffs on all USA made motorcycles.
@@kwakithailandgreat bikes. I’ve had a 1500A Vulcan (greatly under appreciated bike, IMO), and a Vulcan classic. Fine bikes, but they don’t compare to HD, honestly. Harley seems to be making the same mistakes as AMF. More sensors, fuel injection and little aftermarket parts makes sure you can't wrench on them anymore unless you buy alot of expensive specialty tools. Shameful. Willy G forget why we ride these bikes.
Congratulations Harley fans, if you want an Ultra Limited, you're going to have to build it piece by piece with overpriced dealer parts. Now, that 35k Ultra Limited is going to cost 50k in parts accessories, labor, and dealer mark ups. Honda, Indian, and BMW are going to have a great year.
Does anyone commenting here have no business sense? OBVIOUSLY this bike does not sell well enough to justify its cost and manufacturing expenses, and is losing money, so it’s being cut. Wake up, idiots!
This new CEO ruined Harley with the woke stuff. I was close to buying a new Harley but never will I support such a woke DEI company. Also, not a fan of the new designs. People buy a Harley not for the newest high tech. They want nostalgia, the style etc not a massive screen in place of gauges. And over $35,000 for a motorcycle? They're probably profiting like close to $25k on each one at least. Ridiculous

Looks like I'm going goldwing. Why does harley-davidson's new ceo like slapping his core buyers in the face?
I traded my 2023 Road Glide Limited for a 2024 CVO Road Glide ST. The Limited was and is too top heavy. I’m pleased with my CVO R.G. ST. The ST out handles and out runs the Limited.
It should being lighter and a higher performance engine
harley still finding ways to shoot themselves in the foot 🤣
if they don't get rid of Mr.

I have one..should have bought a honda or bmw
Let us know when they start making VTwin touring bikes.
@@tomdivittis2688Kawasaki 1700 Voyager enters the chat 😅
@@kwakithailandgreat bikes. I’ve had a 1500A Vulcan (greatly under appreciated bike, IMO), and a Vulcan classic. Fine bikes, but they don’t compare to HD, honestly.
The above comment specifically mentioned Honda and BMW. I think Honda missed out on a LOT of sales by not making a V-Twin touring model. Shadows are nice bikes, and Honda doesn’t make any bad machines that I’ve ever seen.
@@kwakithailand I thought they stopped making the Voyager. I do like them, and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Kaw. I liked the ones I had.
After putting 40k miles on an Ultra the last two years, I’m keeping it. I’ll add a tour pack and leg pods to a street glide next time. ;)
Nonsense.
Too much.
Ridiculous
Would this be a good bike to pick up a Harley Chick with a few tattoos?
Great bike for doctors, lawyers and dope dealers. The rest of us must settle for less.
