The block is absolutely darling. It looks challenging, but you made it look very doable. This video and your other videos are very helpful to me. Thanks bunches.
I loved this. The center crease is a god- send idea for me. Gluing is great, can't wait to get the glue, and turning under the leaf tips and basting is great. How organized this is! Now I think I can try this.
Jan you are my savior! Watching your tutorials have been so helpful. You made the Eagles & Roses block look so easy & inviting. I love your quilts and the fabrics you design. Thanks so much for your time. Nancy
Everything is much clearer after watching your tutorials. Thank you for helping those of us that are more visual learners. Love your patterns and your techniques.
I fell in love with this quilt from the moment I saw it. It he center was not as intimidating as the eagle blocks. Will you be making a tutorial on that section? That shield in the center is very intimidating. Thank you!

Great tutorial Jan! I'm just learning to needle turn applique and am having trouble with points on my outside curves on flowers. Can you give me some tips? I'm am clipping all of my curves, but they still make little points...any help would be appreciated! Maybe do a video on outside and inside curves on flowers? Thanks!
Gayle, It's coming. Just soooo many things to cover. Inside and outside curves are difficult. As a tip right now, stop clipping the outside curves. It leades to points. Only doing about one tutorial a month. Will get to them. Jan
Jan, I love your tutorials. I am tackling a quilt called Country Girls, it has tulips. Each little girl is holding 2 tulips. Do you have a tutorial on tulips? I have never done applique but you have made me believe I can do it if I try. Thanks a Bunch!

Such a great tutorial! Love this fabric too!
You are a awesome teacher. Is that a fabric glue
Thank you Jan!
Love the quilt : )
Sandy, The shield is really pretty easy. You just applique the red parts onto the shield and then applique the shield to the eagle. :)
Great tutorial!
