SGA, Murray, Wiggins, Dort, Brooks, Olynyk, Barrett, Nembhard, Alexander- Walker, Joseph and Powell I believe will be the players participating in the Olympics for team Canada. Lyles, Edey, Brissett and others extras.
The Olympic team will be taken mostly from the World Cup team, plus Jamal Murray. Murray signed a three-year commitment May 2022 -- along with 13 other players -- to play for Canada in the qualifying rounds to help the team qualify for the Paris Olympics. I think Melvin Ejim might be the only European-based player from the list that makes the Olympic team and Zack Edey should also make the roster, with the rest being NBA players. But anyone not on the 14-player list is on the outside looking in and may not receive an invitation to training camp. That includes players like Andrew Wiggins, Andrew Nembhard, Bennedict Mathurin, Trey Lyles and Shaedon Sharpe.

@@Allen-k6n1o Yes, only 12 can make the roster. Basketball Canada's summer commitment list was signed by 14 players and the winter commitment list was signed by 15 mostly international players. In all, 27 players played for Canada throughout qualifying.
@@Allen-k6n1o Maybe. Oshae Brissett and Cory Joseph made the three-year commitment but weren't picked for the World Cup team. Wiggins' participation in the Paris Olympics is far from certain, as is Nembhard's. Basketball Canada does owe some loyalty to the players who got them to Paris.
Who is our best Centre folks? Y'all think vets like Powell should start? Small ball with Kelly? Maybe Edey who is excelling for Purdue? Will Brandon Clarke be healthy by then? Our front court is my primary concern

I thinkj they should 110% try and use edey (Edit: at least sometimes). i know some people might think thats crazy, but they have nothing to lose, everything to gain from the experience, and someone who sizes up to almost anyone

one time during school, we had basketball in our gym class.. one of the worst and most boring days in my life. waste of a gym class, that could have been used for floorball or even soccer.
