hello in the non reducing is it a must someone to use a water bath

not just waterbath but warm. this speeda up the rate of;
*1st use; breakdown the disaccharide to monosaccharides
*2nd use; speedup the rate of colorchange for the benedict solution from blue to green, yellow or brown
these are functions of warm waterbath from the 1st time you should use to the 2nd time you should use.
