Interesting video. Thank you Gentlemen. Forty or fifty years after manufacture the price for a Model 700 is still not cheap and I suspect that’s down to the quality of manufacture. I still feel like Mirokus’ are a well kept secret that people guard!
Didn’t get a good look at the woodwork, but I do like a nice Prince of Wales grip on a shotgun.
    Incredible!
And yes, I was the one who mentioned Leroy”s Ramblings.

These Mirokus are certainly a very well made gun. The Leroys Ramblings website does have some very useful information.

I found your channel by searching on Miroku Model 700. I just purchased a Miroku Model 700 (I think) 20 gauge that has the exact same engraving and stock configuration - including the butt plate. Thank you for all the information about this firearm!

I have a Miroku of some sort. The same sort of age as the one you are looking at. But it has double triggers. And an intact but plate. Can send photos if you like. Mark.

Good job ,who makes best replacement springs for miroku?thanks

I find it interesting that they originally used v springs, but when you look at the guns they produced- chopper lump barrels, polished steel internally no chrome, v springs, pistol caps, hand engraved/chequered etc, they basically produced the gun to the highest degree possible, yes a v spring can fail earlier but much sharper lock times/more compact design, perazzi etc use v springs on the best guns they make so says a lot about who miroku where then

I have a BC Miroku with no model number. Could you help me identify it and date it?

Best way to find what model it is, is by engraving pattern.
Dating the gun besides proof marks can be done by top rib design, what springs it uses in fore end

    I have a 700 in the usa.
It is identical to this one.
With the exception of the stampings, it has 700 commander on it.
In the us, Mirokus are not sold here.
Charles Daly mirokus are available from years ago and they are dirt cheap.
I have a diamond grade 12, paid about 1000 Usd for it.
    The 700 I paid 400 Usd .
People think the Brownings are the best, most don't even know Miruko builds them.
It is crazy, the old browning hand engraved is high dollar.
    The mirokus not even close.
Not complaining, it is great to pick up these old bullet proof shotguns for nothing.
My question, what is the comparable European Miroku to the charles daly diamond trap?

Please feel free to email over some pictures of your Diamond Trap and we could let you know the European Miroku equivalent. We did do a video on the Miroku 800 Diamond which you can view here - ruclips.net/video/o-5h2V4mo7A/видео.html
