Never get tired of that trademark Doug humor - the sound effects, elevator music while showing top operation, etc. Even after 2.4 million subscribers and in a true supercar review your delivery and lightheartedness are still the quirkiest parts of the vids. Keep stayin' real, Dougie!
The guy's just likable. That's his 'secret'. Nothing much more to it than that. He knows cars too, obviously, but so do plenty of other people.
His other secret is that he's just relentlessly comprehensive and standardises everything: he reviews pretty much every car out there, and gives 'em microscopically detailed scores, so you want to know what he thought of, say, the F40's styling, or the 720s's quality or whatever. It's moreish.
He's clever and he's likable. Killer combo.

Would have a 458 over a laferrari any day, just because of how iconic it is. I was lucky enough to drive the base model 2009 458 about a year ago, and it was one of the best experiences Ive had.
The only car I'd take over a 458 is the 288 GTO, but thats way to expensive and rare to ever consider getting.

The reason the reflectors are "stuck on" and not attempted to blend in is because only the US market requires every vehicle to have them and around the world cars don't have them so yeah

It's a euro car a side marker how it's called here, in this case a side blinker is mandatory and ye, they put a side marker that is worse looking than most cars used to have in the '90s
@@itzzaster They serve a good purpose, so your car does not get hit in dark areas. Maybe i am used to them but I do not even notice them. I mean I have seen cars, probably drunks, driving at night with no lights pull out and the reflectors saved me from hitting them.

I've been enjoying all of your videos for the last few months. I love the level of detail you go into every facet of the cars.
My only comment (made apparent by how this video was cut) was that, as you transition to driving the car, I wish the background sound was the idle sound of the car. In this video, it would have been a fantastic transition, seeing as you shared the idle sound just before you transitioned to driving.
Doug, I've enjoyed your content for a while. Thanks and keep it up. Also really appreciate you as real guy with normal clothes, tons of real knowledge, and honest passion. You drive all these exceptional cars and you appreciate little things like this 458 being the last of the naturally aspirated V8's. But most impressive is of all the cars you have access to, the exotic car you invest your own money into is the American made Ford GT bought from your coworker. Brilliant !

Hey doug i have a 2006 Nissan sentra if u wanna review it, it’s not just any sentra it’s the special edition so it has a subwoofer and a wing as well, pretty badass car in my opinion gets like 30mpg and has 200,000 miles and running strong, 0-60 in like 9 seconds and I don’t think it will hit 100 but it’s a sick car, lmk if u want to review it

6:01 the fog lights are down there because actually that's the only way they can function as fog lights. They have to be put as low as possible so they can light up the road (and can be seen, without the light scattering on the fog), just below the fog which usually hovers above the ground by a 30-40cm
Hey Doug! Your videos are great. I'm a big fan. I don't know if you take suggestions but I think that you should do a POV when driving instead of focusing on your face. I personally would like to see what you're seeing and also, possibly see your instrument's readings while driving. It'd be nice to see how quickly that needle goes up when you're driving. I'm aware that you may be trying to avoid some legal issues but if you manage to pull it off, specially for cars like this one, It'd be really awesome!
