As a 3800 owner 😂 wat the hell 😅 this guy read none of the forums, fb groups, cause straight piping a 3800 is the worst shit ever. Now equal length mod or zzp equalizer makes it sound sexy 😏...but I'll never tell a soul how u reaalllllly make a 3800 sound like music. Well not until I post it first 🙃
01 regal series 2. Cat delete, stock resonator, and 4 choices. Flowtech Raptor Super Turbo, Rumble Two Chamber, Flowmaster Super 10, and a length of Straight Pipe. All off of a flange for the axle back and 2.5”. Super 10 and Raptor Turbo sound the best in terms of a “loud” or “quiet” choice. Rumble 2 chamber is a weaker sounding super 10 and the straight pipe even with the stock resonator is blaring, especially with an intake that does the old cold start whine and whistle shriek song and dance. Edit: I got the Bosch Jammie stacked into 2 different style “spark plug defoulers” and the voltages for the O2 are ideal.
If an 2000 monte carlo ss is anything like a 2004 pontiac bonneville, It should ride like a dream while being very composed and it might be fairly quiet in the cab too. Plenty of power and decent gas mileage as well. Get a set of acticlaw snow tires and you're set for winter. I had an 03 monte carlo and it was damn comfortable. To bad it got squashed between two trucks. Hell even that crash was comfortable.
Y'all couldn't have done him a favor and gotten rid of that U-bend!? It would legitimately add 5-10whp. and where did you get that it's supercharged? I didn't hear any whine even inside.
It's not. Not even a boost gauge has the volt gauge instead. I own a supercharged L67 Dale Jr and would wipe the floor with this one. Also that wing looks terrible on there. Should have went with a factory Highsport ducktail. Also why is the u-bend still there?? That's the 1st thing to get rid of on these GM W-bodies before the series 3
At some point they got rid of the 3.8L V6 and made the SS use the supercharged 3.8L V6 and later the 5.3L V8. And that whining is the probably the power steering pump, they are all like that 😂
I don’t think it’s supercharged unless he did it himself. There’s no boost gauge and there’s no supercaharger badging anywhere that I saw. Cool car nonetheless
@@darthbiden8675 Right they didn't Supercharge them until 2004-2005...alot of people don't know the 1 in this video isn't even Supercharged! I have a 2002 with 80k original miles on it..
@@BodyWeakDotNetI definitely noticed right away lol. I own an 04 L67 SC dale jr. This one doesn't even have a boost gauge it has the volt gauge instead so it's definitely an L36 NA. Also very wrong of them to leave the U-bend and that wing looks terrible. Should have went with a factory Highsport ducktail. Also the SC ones came with the Highsport body kit and said Supercharged SS on the rocker panels instead of Monte Carlo SS and were only available for 04-05. In 05 all SS were SC and all NA SS were replaced by the LT trim
Sounds really good for a 23 year old chevy 👍
Sounds good i will never stop liking these cars

TOGS, no cat, 24 inch glasspack in place of the resonators, and glasspack mufflers after the y-pipe. Was I close?
Just seeing the U-bend still in the exhaust made me shake my head. First damn thing you get rid of in these cars!

No disrespect towards the shop or the work done. But I wish they would stop saying “straight pipe” if it has cats/mufflers. It ain’t straight pipes.
Looks like liquid nail was used for the front lip at one point. Can't go wrong with stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers.
those monte carlo ss are super nice cars!
i always wanted one.
still hoping to someday 🤞
Had this exact car. Had nice 19 inch rims on it and was lowered a bit. Always got a lot of compliments on it. But it was a total piece of shit tbh.

Greta job Hackaddicts! Now it not only looks like a pile of carp, it sounds like one!
Whatever the customer wants
First like and you guys do great work keep it up
I swear I been looking for a Monte Carlo with an aftermarket muffler video and couldn’t find what I was looking for until I came to your page. Thanks
Nice work! 😎👊🏻🔨 Sounds okay.
I hate the spoiler. Get a nascar spoiler it will look amazing.
So much wrong here 😂😂
Tango Sucka!
@@GAMRMNTS2 whatever that means 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The damn wing
I think that's a Dodge neon wing!!!!😂😂
That wing is horrendous.
Wtf is that spoiler
Yeah that's the only thing I cringed at
Looks like he stole it from a Subaru.
Not like V8 SS badged vehicles at all. Why they have V6 SS badged vehicles is beyond my comprehension
At some point they got rid of the 3.8L V6 and made the SS use the supercharged 3.8L V6 and later the 5.3L V8.

You can get a bit under 400 hp out of that v6. Now pop that into a fiero gt and you’ve got a torque monster.

I thought these were v8s this whole time
The badging on cars like these are confusing sometimes.
There was one with a 5.3 i think
The 06-07 ss is a 5.3 ls4 v8, the 2000-2005 ss has the buick 3800, not all of them are supercharged though.
