People living near forest areas have no other choice than being friendly and kind towards wild animals . They must get training for this from animal enthusiasts and other organisations of animal lovers. Govt. must also do whatever possible to develope such bondage.

Ob der Elefant immer in der Lage ist, abruppt stehen zu bleiben, weiß man nicht. Dass er sie nicht absichtlich verletzen würde, ist ganz sicher.

If possible, on any given day, I would always choose an elephant as my pet animal over dogs or cats. Definitely the most loyal, intelligent and protective animal on this planet.
You do know that by instinct they kill people. This ones seems to be very used to people and knows they are of no danger so it can oppress that instinct, but its something always sleeping within them honed by 250,000 years of seeing our ancestors hunt and kill them. Also elephants are much to proud creatures to follow human instructions and you cant exactly force it to do anything. The only way is through intensive torture at a young age which breaks the elephants spirit and there will to fight back. Also a creature of that size a simple swing of its trunk or kick from its leg can do lots of damage and be very fatal

You need a pick up truck to get its food every 2 days. And i have seen it when elephants are used for dragging timber.
This is a wild animal...even its a tame one, still a wild....it is suppose to be free...with their herbs or family... Not a pet...and abused.
