All wild animals are dangerous to get close, this young lady elephant is a friendly sort, but any time they can turn dangerous. If get attacked, it is not the fault of the animal.

You mean the Sri Lankans? Yah, they started it and some idiotic tourist also follow it. Feeding wild animals is wrong. They abondoned their natural foraging and start depending on humans. Gradually they lose fear of humans and then the troubles start. When that happens the elephant/s are blamed and they are put down.
These feedings are a regular occurrence and the SL authories seem to do nothing about it. Either they lack intellect or corrupt.
I am an elephant lover and had watched videos from many African countries, Thailand, India eic. Only in SL authorities permit such acts by people; imbiciles. No wonder the country is in shambles.

Perhaps a calm elephant, cause no by passer to raise concerns. Anyway, elephants are highly unpredictable, even tamed ones kill a few Mahouts during their lifetime. rarely there are elephats who demonstrate calm behavior throughout their entire life. So lucky nothing happens to these guys. This elephant was highly nervous most of the time.
Wild or tame they are beautiful,innocent,very intelligent ajestic creatures and they understand perectly when they are approched with love and sincerely theyd never attack.I love them sooo much.They're gorgeous
If you enjoy feeding elephants, please give them native fruits of what they usually eat.

You wouldn’t dare to try this in any other country, remember for your bad luck if the elephant was aggressive, the wild life dept will put him down, it’s always the animals that pay the price. Because they are still living. 🙄Don't promote this type of adventure infront of a wild elephant.. You never know it's behavior, his moods, etc... Only thing that it was looking for is food. First you gave him a branch of a tree which didn't eat. If it got angry at that moment you might have been killed by the elephant. This was so rediculous. Don't feed this beautiful animals. If you provoke them, there is no escape.

You must understand they are wild elephants. These are not cat and dogs. If the elephants were to react aggressively towards these stupid tourists then it would have become an international incident and that's bad for our tourism industry.
I think this is stupidity. Feeding a wild animal is risky, especially an elephant 🙄 They were extremely lucky. However, ppl should remember that luck can run out any time.
Travel advisories should be issued to tourist on engaging wild animals. In their countries they can punished by law.
At 20:09 the truck was driving too close to the elephant when there was a whole lane of space away from the elephant. The license plate is not totally clear but looks like ending in 3923. His license must be revoked. Sorry to vent, reality is a lot of people drive like in this, in these parts of South Asia.

Looks like someone's elephant escaped from the compound. It doesn't look wild. The way it moves looks tamed but wary of strangers.
That is indeed wild. People have spoiled it by feeding it. There are several lone elephants like this in Sri Lanka which have taken up living close to the road because of people feeding them. They have come to associate vehicles and people with food now. Sometimes they get aggressive demanding food from vehicles.
This is a wild elephant. But, it has got used to the habit of coming on to the road to get food from the people. That is why it is used to the people.
You have no idea how they can just destroy you in a hundredth of a second. A slightest wrong move from you can trigger a wild animal. It looks like fun till you see the bad side of them. Just leave them alone and don't put their lives in danger. There are enough stupid people in the world but very few wild animals.
