You guys doing deep 8's is exactly why I chose my 2019 GT 10R80. Eventually I want to go RELIABLE high 8's with a stock engine other than oil pump gears. As far as new cars come there is no better bang for your buck than 18+ Mustang GT 10R80. Good shit bro. 👍

@@Spad68 because they're stock internals and there's no tune out for them. Only famous RUclipsrs like Amelia does that because she can afford it.
Reliable 8's in a stock motor and transmission car is funny... Keep dreaming..
Rods/pistons/sleeves, and clutches kit in the trans. Reliable 8 second gen 3..considering how fast a car in that league is, it is extremely affordable, and still the best bang for the buck on the market.

I have been a loyal Mustang guy and owner since 1993. The Mustang platform is just the best for drag racing IMO. The OG 5L was a great engine for the time. I had a lot of success with it no matter if it was boosted, sprayed or N/A with the correct parts. Even the 2v and 4v Modular platform I had even more success with. The Coyote is now the KING DADDY of any other stock engine out IMO. I mean seriously bone stock as bone stock can be without cracking a camcover, intake or throttle body bolt loose and running 8.00!!!!!! Buy Mustang boost it tune it with E-85 and some other minor mods and u have a 8 second totally street able daily driver!!!! If one cannot see the potential in the coyote thay are just hatters and cannot bring themselves to appreciate a damn good engine. Again these are just my options. #FORD #TANGSTANG #DAVEANDKENDOG #LUNDTUNING

I remember years back would’ve been 2011 my dad was doing a frame off restoration on his 72 Torino he owned it since it was new and he wanted to go all modern. I talked him into the 2011gt500 crate motor and that’s what he did. He runs a TCI6X trans and every other top end part. But when the coyote came out he’s like damn that thing is gonna be the future of the v8 world. And dammit he was right. Check his car out it’s called Project breathless Gran Torino

I remember when people stated putting superchargers on the 5.0 fox bodies and you could of had a 9-10 second street car that was crazy at the time, now you have the Coyote 5.0 going 2 seconds faster. all stock is just amazing, kind of makes you wounder what the next 20 years will bring, my guess it will be electric
I love the new Coyote engines/Mustangs. I plan to eventually Coyote swap my old 5.0l HO of my '94 Mustang.. Old school with new school power. It's gonna be epic!!

This upload is almost clickbait lol. Sorry but a big twin turbo kit is stock? Come on nut swingers. These are hero runs By people who can piss away 10k on a block every year. I’m sure you can imagine lifetime on one of these.. I’m sure its on very borrowed time if any street duty fun is done. Take this all with a grain of salt as Some people just have money to throw away.. I’d be worried about grenading a brand new stock block and it wiping out everything..these cars are all brand new and them coyote long blocks are $$$$..Almost reminds me of that girl RUclipsr lol. Pays for her cars with daddy’s money and spoiled brat breath..But People been taking stock junkyard 5.3s and making crazy power on pump gas and many over 1000 to the wheels on E85 for nearly a decade..there’s articles on a stock internal 5.3 running 4’s in the 1/8th. This isn’t new or impressive to someone who races a lot. Only thing impressive about any of this is the 10 speed auto..just think about the new 7.3 gas motor tuned up for a sports car implementation 429 Boss anyone? Easily could be over 600hp NA, except unlike the yote it would have the torque to come with it... if Ford brought out with one of those 10 speed autos behind it with some redone gearing it would be nasty as hell. The coyote is a great motor but to me it feels pretty gutless down low, it’s really noticeable in the manuals.. I’ve been in them, raced a few and I wasn’t unimpressed but I was expecting more from the performance vs the hype it gets . Especially in the 6 speed. The 10 speeds are what makes it shine for sure...however I’d get one with the 6 speed. It’s just Way more fun banging gears lol..holy long ass comment 😂

I'm excited. There are tons of guys swapping many cars, even chev (bondo bird} I have a 93 coupe with a twin precision 6266 billet T4's and a stock gen 2 coyote with the cheap holley intake nack by a stock 6R80 with circle d billet stall. Car will weight 3108 lbs without driver. I will be happy if I can get into the 8's.

Gotta love the coyote platform with its high RPM capability, there is a reason why these cars with a tune and boost can run impressive #'s. I'm very impressed on the amount of timing these engine will take especially on E85 or any other high octane fuel 💪🏽

The gen3 5.0 is the best motor platform for boost hands down! Chevy and Mopar can’t even get close to a stock block 5.0 build. I’d like to see Street car Joe run that platform! His knowledge and experience could you imagine!

The heavier challenger 1320 is killing these coyotes though. Seriously the only way a 10 speed mustang can win is if it’s modified and the challenger is stock.

Can you elaborate on how a 12.1 comp engine requires a bigger turbo to be happy? I'm just wondering what you're trying to say here. It's seems like your saying a high compression motor needs a bigger turbo to work.
The higher compression increase the final compression ratio when you add boost. Which allows you to make more power but either way the 12.1 comp will be happy with a small or big turbo. It's just the bigger the turbo. The more potential hp.
It’s really the heads on these flow so much that too small of a turbo can’t keep up. I had this issue with my original 76mm the exducer turbine couldn’t flow enough

I completely understand how everything is affected by engine size, head flow, cam, headers,exhaust, etc. I left that stuff out for a reason. It's basically the answer to the question. Obviously a motor that moves a ton of air N/A is going to require a larger turbo.
Shit my 85 foxbody first went low 7s over 15 years ago with a single 100mm and a 331 sbf and a gen 6 DFI. Talk about a long time ago lol..
I just wanted to know why he said the 12.1 compression isn't happy with a small turbo and needs a big one. It's not really the compression that dictates the size. It's everything else we mentioned.

Lots of people going on many thousands of miles boosted. I know a guy with a 2014 and a wipple that has over 160,000 miles on it

I thought the twin turbo Demon went 8.40's with stock engine/trans? Could be wrong. And 10R80 won't last long, even a built one. Stock anything won't last long running those low numbers.
