    Thankyou so much for this video. I'm finally starting to get my head around shapes. Also the section about not over blending was very helpful. I hear the "don't over blend" advice often but no one ever explains how to do that till now so thanks.

    Can't wait for the challenge even tho I'm completely clueless when it comes to art. How do I get used to drawing on my huion 420 tablet?

    • @theunironicpeasant4266
      @theunironicpeasant4266 2 года назад +1

      I started out on one of those! What I did to try to get used to drawing on it was play some drawing games, practice simple shapes and lines, attempt to recreate simple characters from TV shows that I liked, looked up drawing exercises for beginners online, etc. I was learning both how to “art” and use a drawing tablet at the same time so it was a long road haha but a fun one! Good luck! ^_^

      Color Dodge, Adding texture, playing with the curves, adjustment layers… lots can be done 😊

    • @rr.studios
      @rr.studios 2 года назад +3

      You can also:
      - Duplicate the sketch layer, (or any other layer you prefer),
      - Blur it a bit,
      - Change its blending mode while making necessary adjustments (opacity change, curves, brightness and contrast etc...) till you find something you really like...
      I like using the overlay blending mode (or sometimes one of the burn modes when I'm feeling adventurous XD)

    Maybe I'm missing something here. But are you blending everything on the same layer? If not, speeding up the video did not help. I see the separate layers but then did you copy everything and make one layer while keeping all the original layers?

  • @skapon86

    It’s all amazing and I loved the tips and your amazing art. But you didn’t exactly showed how to blend the color, meaning the shapes. You did it so fast without showing what brushes and sizes and how
