It was a GREAT gig, no matter what some people might say! I talked to many people after the concert. Some were a bit anxious about Axl singing with AC/DC before the concert, but afterwards they really LOVED it! I´ve seen Axl twice with GNR, so I knew he would do a great perfomance and I never thought about not going to the concert. I can´t understand why some people are still complaining. They cleyrly weren´t at the Stadion, so in fact where have they been? :-)
First let me say this, AC-DC is a great band. Sadly, we no longer have them. Please stop what you are doing to yourself. I know there have been some difficult realities that start with the loss of Malcolm and only intensify with Phil gone (who in my humble opinion only got better with age and the further pursuit of his minimalist playing style) but now missing Brian??? I really don't think you can still be AC-DC anymore. You can sub a rhythm guitarist and get away it live. You can tell Chris Slade to "knock off" all the unessessary cymbaling and pitter pat stuff and get by...but now this? Granted, Axl sounds better than he has in the past, even with what is left of his own band, but the vocal range just isn't there for this gig and it really is not good what he is doing to these songs. Angus and Cliff, I'm sorry but 40% (2 of 5) just isn't cutting it. I'm sure you were in a tough spot but stop doing this to your selves, you're better than this. I used to see you all as so strong and united and your giving it all away. Wait for a moment when you are whole and healthy when Brian and Phil can come back and then "rock the world"! In the meantime we'll wait.
