    Damn, the amount of information pros need to process is fucking insane and highly underappreciated (judging by the amount of "noobs" and "bots" that you see in twitch chat). As total noob I think that what makes a pro an actual pro is, besides skill obviously, the way you process the information you receive from your team mates and the actual gameplay. The threshold for mistakes is so tiny...

      I think its not the amount of info they actually process but the amount of stuff that most people would need to think about that they are able to compress into "good move" or "not good move", like a PC binary system. Because lets be real, ropz wasnt thinking through like what was described as he was in that 15-14 play, he was just playing on instinct. That's the amazing thing about pros, they have so much experience that they can play what looks like incredibly calculated cs without even thinking or missing a beat.

    Wow Broky's IQ off the roof. what goes through his mind and his patience on the A hold where he timed and literally knew Monesty would take a wall bang shot thru the crates is genius; to peek out to isolate the kills, pickings!
    and then later Broky's brilliant play on B, although only 'two' kills, it meant so much to the entire round and MADE the difference; that 0.02sec decision made on who to go for the kill first and using the pillar to his advantage..so hunter wouldn't have him easy speaks volumes of his experience to use map elements to your advantage.
    this reminds me, he might not be the outright badass AWP'er compared to many other awpers but man, does his brilliance shine through in this series... side note, alot of players like him and Hunter often get consistent 2kills that are so crucial which contributes to their team's overall round wins... but ppl always remember the 4ks, Ace and clutch.. underrated players! Thanks for this video, and now I have another 'AWPer'/player to really look out for and also support in the future. Heh.

  • @Masiyooo
    @Masiyooo Год назад

    I feel like this video misrepresents some of the information processing that players do in the fights
    For example with the massive ropz clutch. When G2 jumps into pit, ropz doesn't "recognize" that he must have time to fight jackz because G2 likely jumped pit. He is simply doing a back and forth timing between the two angles he is being pressured from. he turns back to fight middle because he doesn't want to be stagnant towards pit. After turning to mid for the second time, had he not spotted jackz going wide (which granted him the kill), he would have continued to push middle wider himself, or turned back towards pit once more. He's simply doing a back and forth timing between the two angles, making sure he is taking the initiative, applying pressure, and covering his flank.
    It's an insane clutch, but the amount of information being processed is overemphasized. He is just taking the angles that makes the most sense. Same with the broky 2K at B site where Hunter drops down from second boxes. After killing aleksib, he takes the fight towards ruins because it is from the direction of least cover and least info, not because Hunter physically dropping gave him time to do so. He would take that angle even if hunter had been crossing to new box instead of dropping from 2nd.

  • @haishawang9339
    @haishawang9339 2 года назад

    Even tho Faze played well the take away from this demo should be that G2 made so many mistakes that eventually cost them the game.
    Round 23,24,28 and 30 are all 1vx situations where Faze only had 1 defender on site, if that person was killed then the game goes into post plant situation favoring G2.
    The G2 team as a whole could not get the spacing right to deal with the last defender in those rounds.
    For example, in round 28 Niko could have trusted his teammates to kill broky on B site. He could have went into church to cut off CT rotation. it was a 3v1 on B site even without him and the CT smoke was almost gone so Church would be a super strong defensive spot to take for Niko.
    Instead he ran back and tried to help team by peaking into broky from left-hand angle, which is awkward and disadvantageous. He could have bunny hopped a bit too to bait Broky and make time for hunter to push in and get the kill.
    In round 30 the spacing was off again when ropz was the only one left on A short. Again it would have been a 3v1 pincer attack, but instead Jackz swings wide and dies first, making the entire mid safe for Ropz because he knows there won't be anyone there. Ropz played smart and hid behind the pillar. But G2 also didn't have to push him either. They still had the bombsite and know exactly where Ropz is. Instead of playing the bomb they just got jiggle peeked to death by ropz.
