- The Goat Life (titled in Malayalam as Aadujeevitham | ആടുജീവിതം) is an Indian Malayalam-language survival drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy. The film is an international co-production involving companies in India and the United States. It is an adaptation of the 2008 bestselling Malayalam novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, which is based on a true incident. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer who finds himself forced into slavery as a goatherd on a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia.

I used to think that Prithviraj was synonymous with headweight and jaada- till I saw aadujeevitham yesterday. All my preconceived notions , were gone with the wind! What a surreal experience. !The stunning visual effects, the soul stirring music and stellar performances by everyone, especially the Hero- Prithviraj! His commitment and dedication is is unbelievable. Congratulations for the awesome Performance. At this point- I would like to add that Your Mother Mallika Ma’am is instrumental for your stupendous success! Never forget that. She single handed ly brought You both up and moulded your Personalties! Never forget that. I feel sad that she is mostly alone, all the time! Do make it a point to spend some time with her and make her happy! How long she will be around? I am a Professor and also a Mother of two children- aged 44& 42. So, I can very well understand what Mallika ma’am must be feeling. Hence- I had to pen my thoughts. All best wishes for your further ventures!😊🙏

സിനിമയുടെ crew മൊത്തം ആൾക്കാരെ പറ്റിക്കുകയാണ്. 16 വർഷത്തിൻ്റെ കണക്ക് പറഞ്ഞ്. സത്യത്തിൽ 2013 ൽ ബ്ലെസ്സിയുടെ കളിമണ്ണ് റിലീസ് ചെയ്തതിന് ശേഷം 2018 ൽ 48hr ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള 100 years of Chrysostom എന്ന documentry film release ആയിരുന്നു. 2hr ഉള്ള ഒരു ചെറിയ സിനിമയ്ക്ക് പോലും minimum 2 മാസം pre-production & post production എല്ലാം കൂടി calculate ചെയ്താലും, 48hr ഉള്ള docu ചെയ്യാൻ ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് മാത്രം 2hr ന് 1 മാസം വെച്ച് നോക്കിയാൽ 48hr ന് 4 കൊല്ലം വേണം. 2013-2018 5 കൊല്ലം ഇതിന് വേണ്ടിയാണ് എടുത്തത്. 2018 മുതലാണ് ആടുജീവിതം ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ഇതുപോലുള്ള ഒരു വലിയ സിനിമയ്ക്ക് covid വർഷം കൂടി ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് 6 വർഷത്തോളം ആകുമ്പോൾ release ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റുന്നതിൽ വലിയ അത്ഭുതം ഒന്നും ഇല്ല. കഷ്ടപ്പാടും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടും എല്ലാം ശരി തന്നെ. പക്ഷേ തള്ളുമ്പോൾ കുറച്ച് കുറയ്ക്കാം വർഷ കണക്ക്. അത്രേ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചുള്ളൂ... ജനം കഴുതകളല്ല എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയാൽ കൊള്ളാം.
ഞാൻ എന്തായാലും first day ticket book ചെയ്തു കഴിഞ്ഞ്. പടത്തിന് എല്ലാ വിധ ആശംസകളും ആത്മാർത്ഥമായി നേരുന്നു...
