I agree. I love the bus, but I can’t get pass not having a bathroom. Some gas stations and fast food places are filthy. Plus what happens in the middle of the night when your stomach starts hurting? I absolutely need my own clean toilet 🚽
1:46. One day my 6 year old nephew was in my garage and from a box I took out an old record and asked him if he knew was it was. His answer was: “Yes I know what it is. It’s an olden day CD.”
When you look back at books like the Grapes of Wrath and currently to people who are houseless these are luxury accommodations. So you have to use a portable toilet or have to shower outside, a lot of people would be grateful to have a space to call their own.
Congrats! This is some of the neatest woodwork I've seen. Great use of space too. Also like the job you guys did on those by now 'long out of style' wheels (let an expert deal with tire changes, it can be dangerous, read up on that). For those who need further inspiration re: vehicle homes, Jane Lidz' book 'Rolling Homes' is a must consult classic, published in 1979 i.e. long long before the current fad began to gain momentum. Safe travels to all.
"I have been through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened." Mark Twain. Do not be indoctrinated with stifling irrational fears I have watched so many of these van life and none of the women have ever ran into problems, I'm sure one may turn up on a video one day with a bad experience but I'm yet to see it. Live life to the full.
Cant imagine life without a toilet. May be fine if on the road, but what if parked for a day, week , month? what then? I know, tents don't have toilets either, but they have to go either 100% campground or 100% off grid.
I AGREE, a toilet is an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY! What happens if you get “a grumbly tummy” in the middle of the night, and what if it’s wet, windy and rainy. It’s insane to NOT have a toilet, especially for a female.
If there was a God I hate when people use that word handicap word handicap I am not handicapped I work every day for every day handicapped our baggers look in the dictionary it means cap-in-hand My legs are unemployed it doesn't make me handicap doesn't make me disabled It's OK to use a wheelchair Handicap is what you do to yourself and limit yourself there is no limitation all limitation in the body it's only in the mind
A prime example of female privilege, dads will move mountains for their little girls :) their sons however, figure it out yourself … be a man….lucky girl.
I'm too lazy to sign out of my husband's account and into my own (suck it, babe), so you're just gonna have to take my word that I am not "David," and that I was once a little girl with a father of my own. I know it can be easy to see what others have when by no fault of our own we are lacking it (I make this mistake all the time). I am one of many examples of it: My father was terrible to me, and eventually when I has sisters, he was terrible to them too. My brothers, however, got his time and respect. He was still hard on them, but he believed in them. Everybody's experiences are different. Not all little girls have good daddies. And not all sons want to be mama's boys. A long time ago I started keeping track of the things I didn't like that my parents did- not to be a judgmental little asshole, but so that I could remember to do those things differently when I had children. I f#*k up a ton but it's also hugely successful.
not exactly true. I've spent many wonderful hours helping my son do home reno's, and other projects; whereas my oldest daughter married a wonderful and talented guy who can way outdo my skillset.
I'm sorry you presumably had a father who did not give you the support, guidance, and patience you needed when you were younger. All adults who make the choice to raise kids should support them to the best of their abilities. It's easier to resent girls for receiving what you didn't than to hold fathers accountable for withholding it. But you can hold the other men in your life accountable for how they treat kids now. And you can offer the support and patience to young people now that you were lacking then. Implying girls and women don't deserve support or nice things will not help. It's easy to see what we have that you don't, but it's harder to see all the things you received that we didn't and all the support we ourselves have given you in your life. Most adults give the bulk of whatever time, resources, and opportunities they have to boys while forcing girls to serve others and punishing us for having wants and needs of our own, sometimes in small ways but often to the point of injuring or killing us. If there was a pie chart of what adults around the world give boys and what they give girls and nonbinary kids, it would look like almost a solid color circle with the slice for kids who aren't boys being so small as to be almost invisible. Yet many people still complain that even that tiny slice is too big and that we don't deserve it. You don't have to be one of those adults. You can encourage the dads you know to be more patient and supportive to their sons. You can be patient and supportive to all kids in your life. It's ok to feel resentful of girls and women for what our fathers gave us, but those are your private feelings to process with yourself, a professional, or other men, not to share publicly. We hear about men's resentment every day of our lives and it is traumatic. If you really believe that girls and women are "lucky" to have anything, please keep it to yourself.

I agree. I love the bus, but I can’t get pass not having a bathroom. Some gas stations and fast food places are filthy. Plus what happens in the middle of the night when your stomach starts hurting? I absolutely need my own clean toilet 🚽

The materials and design of this bus are so calming to me. Beautiful job!

That was my bad. They have a plumbed in toilet and outdoor shower steps from the bus I just forgot to film it.
No toilet? How do you live with no toilet? Nope, couldn’t do it. 🤷🏼♀️

Tell that boyfriend to fix your toilet
I feel like it lacks more decoration, the feminine touch, the very small bathroom
With no toilet 🚽
Fix your toilet you will need it
