Just for fun context: I showed up at my local MicroCenter in Overland Park, KS at 9:14 am. There was a line of at least 50 people waiting to get "their" graphics cards. They only had 14 or so to sell. When I showed up I said. . . "Is this the line for Aerosmith tickets?" Everyone laughed, and I left with no GPU.
I was actually looking for a benchmark from GN or Hardware Unboxed, instead I found this video and I'm happy... great content, great info about this GPU.
Have to admit, I found this more interesting / entertaining. Then a non stop technical blabbing and 8 minutes of bar graphs, like some channels do. It was just you giving an honest opinion, it was very refreshing.
Agreeing with everyone here, loving watching you game Jeff! Most realistic way to get a feel for the card in my opinion. What software are you using to measure FPS and temps and such?
I just bought one of these last week from a retail store and it cost me $1200 CAD. I would not have done it, but my MacBook Pro cratered and I had no choice but to build a new pc for my business. I am very pleased with the card though.
I just want you to know I like your channel. Im getting sick of all the other tech channels relating video after video of sponsor supplied hardware just to build their own systems. You are informative and enjoyable to watch with out the "in your face i have this and you dont" style. When I watch your stuff I feel like I'm watching a colleague or listening to a mate tell me what he's up to so I have no resentment that I can't get this hardware etc. Thank you for not being a dick :)
I was able to get an XFX Merc 319 from Best Buy... (still waiting on shipping).. Pretty happy I got so lucky, been trying to get a decent card since I built my pc last July.
I came here for a review, stayed for the market knowledge. Just bought myself this card and I'm excited to get it asap. It'll come on Monday and moving from a GTX1060 6gb this will be something amazing
@@Rayer24 Man it was great. It was at 3070 level of performance but with 3060ti power consumption. Despite heavy games such as Control Ultra with RT (60 FPS 1080p) the temp never went above 60c. Unfortunately on June 1st the RGB got burned and I had to apply RMA and warranty claim. They replaced my Sapphire for a Zotac 3070Ti, not the same tho. I would prefer a new Sapphire but they were out of stock
There are enough RX 6700XT's in the Dutch webshops ! They still aren't sold out, i got mine the day after launch, paid an decent price too ( 579,- euro ) So maybe it is an America problem ?
I managed to get mine on launch day. Had I known they wouldn't fly off the shelves I would have waited a bit. We still have 3060's and 6700 XT's. 1150 NZD for this very card (not sure how much that is in euro) judging from the current prices despite the price hike it was still cheaper than the 3060 ti and the 3070 so was a decent deal in my eyes.
I bought a sapphire rx 580 for my hackintosh for $187 before gpu’s skyrocketed. I wish I just snagged a card that was actually worth $1000 instead. Now that same rx 580 is being sold for $700. Which is complete insanity. I just paid $900 for the 6700xt. Trying to figure out if I should just return it and spend like $100 more on a 3070ti.
Not talking about a 500 usd card that is listed by the maker at 700usd is a giant cop out, man. There are no bad gpus only bad prices. Prices are everything when reviewing a card. How do we know if the build quality is good if we don’t have a price reference? For 400usd is it good? For 700 is it good? A world of difference pal.

I'm using a Powercolor Red Devil Rx 5700 xt & due to the present GPU pricing / stock situation I've had a few offers to buy it for £800. I only paid £420 for it. Is it worth selling my rx5700xt & buying the 6700xt as it's in stock for around £870. My thinking is I'm upgrading to the new architecture for little cost ? And will my setup be sufficient for this card - Ryzen 7 3700x / Corsair CX 750M PSU / B450 MSI Pro Carbon Motherboard / 16GB 3200 Ram ? Or should I just stay with my RX5700xt ? - Advice appreciated 👍
Here’s a question. Why do card manufacturers (or retailers) send these cards out to reviewers? Why are they bothering trying to get their cards attention? They all sell out instantly anyway.

Since Im on a budget I was thinking pairing it with the ryzen 5 5600x, some crucial ballistix sport lt 3200 2x8gb ram. And what Im really not sure of is what motherboard pairs well with this build and won't break my budget (already is) :'). Would really love a suggestion here :)

I'd rather have the 2 slot cooler it has. Than the piddly thing my 2060 came with. At least the heat pipes extend the whole length of the card. Unlike mine, where they're not even 10 cm... And it's a triple slot cooler!
its also getting the empty container back to the manufacturers. they can't ship equipment if they have no container to put it in. empty containers are blocking the receiving ports, so they cannot unload the full containers. shippers will not send the empty containers back as they will not make any money
I really wish that when you reviewed Radeon cards that you'd throw them into your Pop!_OS rig. I doubt I need to expound on my woes with graphics card stability in Linux, and since Radeon cards (in theory) have native drivers in the kernel......
I bought this card and had terrible coil whine where buzzing could be heard other side of the room when playing rdr2. Much louder than the fans. Saphire said it was inteded. DON'T BUY THIS MODEL if you play without headset or don't like bee's nest next to your head.

your forgetting the automotive industry use's the same company for there chips for there ecu's and airbag ecu and so on and so forth, and manufacturing not running at 100% because of bull crap covid everything we do to takes a hit
I am tired of only youtubers getting cards for free why consumers can't buy any without paying a ridiculous markup price. They do a quick review then shelve the card along with all the other free cards they get. And auto aim in Red Dead is cheating.

I bought one, scalped obviously, then sold my 1080ti to make up the difference so it was like a got it for MSRP. Just more work and a gamble.

Combination of Riva Tuner Statistics Server (RTSS) and HWiNFO.

its really hard not to buy this card right now, its the only somewhat reasonably priced gpu on the market right now
