    Ohhhh my, a very nice looking variation. I will incorporate :) I have to say I ALMOST tossed some raisins in but refrained, its a tight month and I need to know what I make is edible for a good few days. I also roasted the carrot and onion and garlic with the squash.. but, there's a few things here I really like. thank you.

    I never peel butternut squash. Cut it into chunks and roast it. Once you’ve cooked it with the rest of your soup ingredients, the skin will puree. I like it with ref lentils, fresh ginger, chills and coconut milk.

      Oh wow, that sounds like a great source of fiber. Ginger, chili & coconut milk sounds like a killer combo - I'm going to try it next round.
