It's found on the small islands like Huahine on Sunday's cooked traditionally in The Ahi Maa ( pit oven). Served buffet, all you can eat, with ones fingers. Btw, Figi is not part of the society islands.

No, There is many way, you can get it: you can buy it (people who need money sell it to you by the roads or car parks (i'm not keeding), knowing someone who has a tree in their garden (pretty common fruit here, many gave it for free if they like you), buy it at the market of papeete (mostly tourists), or If you have family in other parts of french polynesie, they send it to you
