I’m new here and I’m wondering if this post is really geared towards men. All pics show men working out and “before and after” pics of men. Do you have a post geared towards women? We have different needs than a man does especially at middle age.
Thanks for writing in and apologies for the lack of diversity in the pics. However, this video applies to women as well as all of these tenants are gender-independent. However, if looking for additional female-specific information, check out these videos: www.youtube.com/@FitMotherProject/search?query=weight%20loss Best of luck! -The FMP Team
Great video, i get super hungry when i do high intensity workout and lift heavy which causes me to eat more than im supposed to. How do i curb the excessive hunger in order to eat be at a deficit.
Hi, one option is to do a lot of walking and less to no high intensity. A lot of times walking does not cause hunger when high intensity sometimes does, so then the amount of calories burned doesn't net out to much if I eat more. Instead I walk 30 minutes to 60 min a few times a day, so I still burn a decent amount of calories but it doesn't make me hungry. Also, I don't do a circuit when doing weight lifting, just regular, so that doesn't make me hungry either. Good luck!
Great question! This has a lot to do with the amount of hydration you consume (to help expand stomaching lining, warding off hunger) while also the foods you eat post-workout to satiate you. Fiber also goes a long way to keep you content so ensure you are getting in a high quality protein post-workout, with a meal closely after that has more protein, fiber, and some healthy fats to keep you satisfied throughout the day. -The FMP Team
Very helpful. But I’m so discouraged…age 54 F, trying to loose 30- 50 lbs, have been “doing all the things” faithfully for 20 days now, and the scale hasn’t budged. 😔 I’m not going to quit trying, but I sure hope there’s a breakthrough soon.
Don't be discouraged. 20 days is too short to see proper results. All the tips given really do work. I'm a testament to that. In 3 months, doing the above and exercising in the morning and evening I lost 6kg. So, it's doable. Of course the results differ from one to another. Don't be obsessed with scale weight but take note if the inches you begin to lose in your clothes. Slow but steady results are better than drastic weight loss.
Please don’t give up. I was in the same position and began exercising over a year ago. Nothing happened for the first 6 months, even with following these recommendations. Nature has its way.

This my experience also and can only curb the hunger if I am in fasting mode.

You're at a plateau, which occurs often when losing weight
