- This was such a fun day and something out of my comfort zone. What can 10 euros get in Malta ? We set this budget for a day in Malta, and we decided to visit Valletta with a public transport, the day was fantastic, sunny and warm. We tried to local pastizzi for lunch and we had a nice coffee and chocolate cake in the most famous coffee shop Caffe Cordina, Valletta.
I just moved to Malta, went out to get dinner a few hours ago. A slice of pizza was only 1.20 Euro but I didn't have change on me and they didn't accept card so had to walk away but he gave it to me for free. The Maltese are so friendly.

Thank you Alex for that video I loved it it was good to see Malta again. I was there October of 2022 with my son. My siblings and my parents immigrated to Canada when we were very young and we always talked about it and visited our relatives there. Thanks again I love those pastizzi.

I visited Valetta in November as well! Such a nice island! Gozo, Marshaslow and Sliema as well! Food is expensive!!!! Gorgeous places!

You did well to stick to your budget in Valletta! I hate to waste money frivolously, so I would have taken my water with me from home... so I could have had a small cisk from The Pub. Also I would have tried to get change for the ferry as well, so I didn't get short changed! But otherwise, I think you've proved you can have a decent time on €10... if you take your best friend with you! 😆
It was a struggle with €10 😂 there are many options but if you miss the ferry to find a change, you would waste 30min till the next one😂
Great video 👍. I went to barrakka gardens last week, ended up sitting there for three hours. 👎 for using single use plastic bottles. There is no need whatsoever, the tap water is fine and reusable bottles are widely available.

Alex great video like always I don't think I could have made it on 10 euro. My wife says she could have eaten at least three pastizzi. Hi recommend traveling to L-Imdina and Rabat. At the final stop go to Triq San Pawl on the right there is a very tasty PASTIZZI.
When you leave the place continue into the street after about 300 meters you will reach the Santa Lucia Cafe which makes very tasty coffee and cakes including sandwiches. It is important to travel this Beautiful place.

when you had the cappuccino and chocolate cake; you didn't leave the server a tip. Is that normal? Or just because you spent your whole budget?
Hey. Leaving tips is not mandatory and there is no such thing as “general percentage service charge”. You can tip as much as you like. I did not leave anything just because of the budget of the video 😊
I found Malta kind of expensive, restaurants are basically the same price as here in Paris
