Hello Milly. Wow this song brings me back to being a teenager going to school. This song and Journey was huge in those days. Separate Ways was so big. It was played on practically every radio station over and over. The drummer BTW is Steve Smith. Thank you my friend for this Reaction of one of my favorite songs. You are the true champion here. A little gossip I learned from an interview: Steve Perry's girlfriend at the time, Sherrie Swafford, reportedly did not like the actress hired for this video and caused a bit of trouble. The drummer is Steve Smith. From a website, "Modern Drummer magazine readers have voted him the No. 1 All-Around Drummer five years in a row."

I love his drumming so much so I bought an el drum set and a book with 10 Journey songs for the drums!😊
After all these years I still love watching the 80s concerts on youtube.
I have seen them 5 times. 2 I paid to see them and 3 I got paid to see them and had the best place to watch them while getting paid, right in front of the stage each time. I worked security at many, many concerts. Journey has been my favorite since 1979. As you know by now, Steve Smith is the name of the drummer. Check your video at 3:56 and watch his right hand. Have no idea how a person can move their wrist so fast like that. Also check out their CD called "Captured." It is all recorded at concerts of which I was at one of them. Between songs 13 and 14, Steve does an incredible drum solo which highlights his amazing hand speed. The CD really shows how amazing they sounded live. Enjoyed seeing your reaction to this and a couple other Journey songs. Thumbs up to all. Take care and stay safe.
yes, this songs been heard by a billion people for decades, from roller skating rinks, to living room tvs, driving around in cars, shopping at malls, you know everywhere and everyone you could imagine.. so its no suprise youtube doesnt like you posting it, because someone might hear it or something
