Thank you! You can't use it as hdmi exactly but there's a program called Calc2KeyCE for Windows that will still provide the functionality you're looking for. It allows screen mirroring to the calculator and optionally let's you control the mouse and keyboard from the calculator too. github.com/dnmalenke/Calc2KeyCE If you want to use the calculator as a secondary monitor then I suggest either buying a dummy second monitor adapter or an adapter to vga. This will trick your computer into thinking there's a second monitor. The you can just tell Calc2KeyCE to mirror the fake second monitor.
fyi if you dont update past the update that removed the program fuctionality you dont need the jail break with the jailbreak you can go to an older version
Hey everything works fine, but i can only add 15-20 pictures. If i put more my program on the calculator wont open. Is there any way to add more pictures?
I haven't heard of this bug before. 1. Back up all files to your computer using TI-Connect CE. 2. Clear all the memory of the calculator (not just ram). 3. Send just the files required to run the HD Picture Viewer and see if you get the same crash. 4. If you don't get a crash then send each image one at a time and see which one is causing the crash.
When I click open in the application on my calculator it takes like 2-3 minutes to load up . How do I fix this? I updated calculator and tried to clear out space too.
Are you referring to the time it takes for the program to fully launch, or the time it takes for a picture to render? I've never seen the program take longer than a few seconds to fully launch. How many images did you send to the calculator? I would recommend updating the C libraries. Updating the calculator OS is more likely to break ASM programs than fix them. If you sent over an extremely large image, it will take a while for the image to render on the screen. There's not much I can do to speed that up.
In order to get the best color quality possible, each image has its own list of colors. When you switch to a different image, a different list of colors is used. It's just a limitation of the current Palette system I'm using.
Yo so i open it and then it says smth along the lines of battery i stoo low archived and then figure!! archived! Even though i have max battery and around 1000kb of storage left
Thanks for the clarification! That's not an issue I've heard of before. Try holding the reset button on the back of the calculator for at least two seconds. That should make the battery indicator fix itself. If you run the program while charging do you get the same error?
It sounds like the HD Picture Viewer didn't properly send to the calculator. Try sending it again. Press 2nd then + then 2 then 7 then scroll down and verify HDPICV is present on that list.

yo dude, ive been using your old program for a while now and jsut discovered this one, ive got one small problem tho, the images turn out unreadebly blurry. do you know what to do?
There could be many factors. 1. If the original image is blurry then this won't do anything to sharpen it. 2. In the image converter, did you select the option to not resize the image? 3. Large images can get a bit blurry when downsized. Press + to zoom in and see more detail.

The program is already using the fastest possible wait states. There's no need to reduce the wait states on TI-84 Plus CEs made since 2019 since they have faster hardware and the wait states are already reduced as far as possible.
If you're using windows, just look up how to reduce the resolution using Microsoft Paint. You can fit roughly 50 images that are 320x240 pixels on a calculator with no other files. The number could be higher or lower depending how well the images can be compressed.

You'll either need to reduce the resolution of the images or delete files from the calculator.
How do I reduce the resolutions? Also how many pictures can I put on there anyway? It said over 50 and I was wondering how is that possible
If you're using windows, just look up how to reduce the resolution using Microsoft Paint. You can fit roughly 50 images that are 320x240 pixels on a calculator with no other files. The number could be higher or lower depending how well the images can be compressed.
