@@MIKECNW My Dad used to say he had "a very forgettable face." It's also a matter of context. You think you "know" the people on TV...when you see them on TV. But your mind isn't expecting them in real life. -Peter
I like how Alan Funt would come onto the scene, probably thinking this has gone on long enough, then go for a second gag (wondering how long it will take the people to recognize him). :)
I agree. Now days, ABC likes it better to create a show called "What Would You Do" in which they create a situation with actors that usually agitates people in a bad way. The topic is always very serious. Then when the person is at the point of anger or tears, the egotistical reporter (John Quinones) jumps around the corner and says "Surprise! It's me! Don't you love watching me on television? Wow! We really upset you"!
I watched Candid Camera as a kid.
I was addicted to it !!!!
Me too! -Peter
@@peterfunt8622 How is it that they don't recognize your father right away?

these are better and at least seem more real than all of what we have going on today, these are truly gold

No wheel, no tire, car still drives! Pricelesss.
I love when they are really into it, but then suddenly recognize it's Candid Camera. 😂😂
absolutely beautiful
Loved it!😂
People back in the day were more tolerant, polite, and sometimes gullible...lol. 😂
You don't think people are more gullible now??? This country elected a criminal, Donald Trump!
Can't judge them being gullible if it was almost 60 years ago. To be fair.
The best 👍
Love is Beautiful
WHY don't they bring this classic back on tv?
People today are too quick to shoot.
