I remember riding this the year they built it. I've been on this ride...probably 80 times since. It doesn't seem popular in the park anymore so you can ride this all day because the lines are less than 5 minutes most days....best of all, it's 20 minutes from my house.
ahhh the ninja was the first coaster I ever rode on... I was eight.. (I was a tall eight year old), and my mom was like "it's okay sweetie, it'll be smooth. Smooth my FOOT. We were in the second to last seat. I was so traumatized that after that was through, we went on the mine train and I hated that. (I LOVE it now though.) I swore of coasters for the next 3 years until the Batman arrived... then I slowly achieved my love of coasters :)
When I went to the park, this was the first ride I rode. It was also the first real rollercoaster I had ever ridden. It scared the living daylights out of me! I didn't know I could scream that loud! When it was over, I screamed some swear words. It was terrifying. But as I rode some other rollercoasters after that and I got over my fear. I rode this again later that day and it was better the second time. I love this ride!
this ride is not painful at all u just gotta sit in the middle and ur garunteed no injurys at all and im goin tommorow just to feel this amazing ride again
It doesn't hurt if you don't jerk your head around. Keep focused and looking straight ahead, and try to keep your head to the back of the seat, and you'll be okay.
i've always heard vekoma looping coasters are extremely painful, but i'll be going here on a band trip soon and i'll be able to experience the pain for myself for the first time.
this is a really fun roller coaster in the morning when you get out of a 3 horu trip lol close eyes really tight it feels weird XD but yea it also hurts
omg that ride is scary.. it goes upside down..and there is only 1 bar holding you up.. i went on that when i was like nine or 8 or something, and now i'm like 12 and it's still pretty freaky!!
SF SL's Ninja gets worse every year. Like riding in a shopping cart that has been shoved off the edge of a cliff. When it was new it was a smooth ride.
i loveeee this roller coaster!! i went to Six Flags St.Louis Today and i went on the Ninja 3 Times! i lovee it sooo much! its awesome! i dont kare if its jerky! i also LOVEED the new Evel Knievel! its sooo Kool 2! and i love the screamin eagle!
Yeah, the front seat seems a bit more tame then the back seats, but I think its mostly for the people who have their heads between the shoulder restraints. Smaller riders beware. Oh, I work this ride, and I was there last week. Maybe I was the guy who sent you out? It was really dead... wasn't it...
I remember the first time I saw this ride. It looked really cool and the line was very short. I got onto it and after the ride was over my head hurt so bad! It is too jerky! Now I see this evil ride at every theme park I go to! >:(
I am 6'2" and rather long torsod (from shoulder to hips) and the over the shoulder harness restraint pretty much smashed me down into the seat to the point of me thinking my spine was going to pop. It was extremely uncomfortable and it does snap your head around. I've ridden it 3 times and thought the same thing each time. There's a reason that there is never a line - it's the least entertaining of all of the roller coasters at SixFlags St. Louis. (IMHO)
well considering this used to be the Great American Scream Machine that toured with those Expo's going all over the place in the 80's and it was one of the first Arrow quad loopers in the world, I'm surprised it's still running, but I would like to try it to see why my dad and uncles were terrified of this ride when they went on it in Expo '86.
I went on this ride last year and we sat in the front and it was so erky and bumpy. But then we sat in he back and it was smooth. But I live by Six Flags Great America and I like the Demon better that this.
Yes it is. If you are tall, like I am, it is good because your head doesn't get banged, just your neck or jaw. It doesn't hurt, though, unless your a weenie.
ok so im going to six flags st. louis on labor day and im gonna buy one of those camra helms and wear it so in about 2 months i will have roller coaster vids. comment on roller coasters u wanna c! and i need 10 comments 4 me 2 go on this!

I LOVED THAT RIDE!!!!!
this was my first rollercoaster and i loved it!!!
The scariest part of the ride for me was looking at the loops while going up the chain lift, knowing you are going to be right there upside down.
LOVE THIS RIDE AND RARELY NO LINE!
THIS WAS THE BEST..LOOKING DOWN AT THE GROUND DURING THE CORKSCREWS AND LOOPS FTW

Yeah, the front seat seems a bit more tame then the back seats, but I think its mostly for the people who have their heads between the shoulder restraints. Smaller riders beware.

I live around the Six Flags Great America park in Illinois. You guys need to experience rides like Vertical Velocity and American Eagle.
This ride killed my neck.
I get headaches too easily, so I think I'll stay away from the Ninja for a while.
This was the first roller coaster I ever went on. Very jerky.
aww... too bad for us rough rollercoaster riders =(

well considering this used to be the Great American Scream Machine that toured with those Expo's going all over the place in the 80's and it was one of the first Arrow quad loopers in the world, I'm surprised it's still running, but I would like to try it to see why my dad and uncles were terrified of this ride when they went on it in Expo '86.

This one is hard on the body and kind of lame. The best part is riding up the lift. After that it is just painful.
