      If the state requires TOEFL then you need to pass it. Like I mentioned in this video TOEFL is required for immigration and/or licensure application for states requiring it. Thanks for watching.

    Hi Doc.
    If I currently have a working visa out of my scope of practice (Counter Attendant) and I'm a PT without a master's degree, does it mean that I can apply for an Educational credentials review and I don't need to request de HCWC to look for a job position?
    Thank you so much for your helpful videos ❤

      Hi. That's a good question for employer or immigrant lawyer. I don't know the technicalities of the type of working visa that you have.

    Hi will you please tell me about WES

    • @JustUpright

      Hi. WES is not accepted for any state in the US when it comes to physical therapy application. Each state has their own preferences as to what credentialing agency they accept but definitely not WES.

    Hi, doc thank you for your very informative videos! By the way, I applied for New York and did my credentialing under Fccpt. NYSED informed me that I am eligible to take NPTE and no course/subject deficiency was mentioned. In regards to applying for HCWC, is Master’s required only for those under CWT6? Or does it apply to all CWT who don’t have US immigrant/working visas? I graduated in 2013. Thanks!

    • @JustUpright
      @JustUpright  2 года назад

      HCWC applies to those who are needing a working or immigrant visa. It is a requirement of immigration here when an employer or agency file for you. You can use CGFNS for this it is called Visa Screen Certificate and it is cheaper compared to FCCPT.
