The biggest benefit of online poker is it's so easy to leave a table where you just can't get anything going. If I'm playing 4 tables and I keep getting killed in one I'm gone asap
I was playing a $1-$2 game and was up a good $200. Thought I should quit and thought I would play one more hand. Then I got an AK with an A 10 J on the flop. I bet and she called. Next street, no spade 4 came out, I bet big she called. Then a 5 came on the river I went all in and she called. She had A5 and chased it, landing it on the river. I was so fucking pissed. She had to know I had her outkicked the whole time at the very least, but she kept calling anyways. I lost all my money and a couple of hands later she gets up and leaves. I wanted to throttle her but I was also mad at myself.
15:15 Spectacular GFX. Seriously awesome. 15:30 It's so interesting, how, after enough years, you can read so much into the nuance of things. Like, you had to bet the river because you got there. But you and she had developed this sweet little mini-relationship. So you wouldn't have been heartbroken had she folded. But it would have been ungentlemanly not to bet. However, when you rolled your cards over, it was so understated and gentle - there was an almost "I'm sorry" quality to the way you did it.
if ive said it (or posted it) once, ive done it a hundred times. No one else is even CLOSE to your content. Sure, there are other great vlogs that I follow, but you sit alone at the top. Thank you for it.
Hey Jaman! Curious question... When playing 5/10, what do you usually tip after a hand. I'm guessing 5 bux, but do you go up from there, depending on the pot size?
It depends. Sometimes games are pretipped so all the players tip when the dealer sits down. Sometimes I tip when the dealer is getting up. Most times it's just a couple bucks. It's always funny to me that viewers try to determine how much a vlogger has tipped by what they see in a video
@TheDrawingDeadVlog Well, that is my only frame of reference here! Just watching your hands. Happen to notice that you flipped a $5 chip to the dealer after winning a pot. I also realize that there are many hands where a decent raise gets everyone to fold and you just scoop the blinds and/or limpers, which wouldn't necessarily warrant a tip. I guess it's all relative to the 'size' of the game in general. 😉 Thanks for taking the time and keep up the great work! I know you hear this ad nauseum, but your vlog is completely original to any and all others out there. JB for 'Vlogger of the Year'!!
14:30 your "Prom night" line gets a laugh from #4 (?). Whenever something like that happens, I tip the player a dollar or two. I'm famous for it on my home court. 80% of the time they laugh and ricochet the toke to the dealer. 10% of the time they throw it back to me because WTF. 5% of the time, they laugh and keep it. 5% of the time they just keep it and don't say anything. They don't get any more tokes.
7:15 Benton sits my game, I think, "Gee, must be a pretty good game." Then I think "Game just got a lot less good." 7:27 12. Seconds. Later. Oh ya, let me call a raise from "Benton" with some cheesy offsuit couple of Broadway cards. Sweet. 8:20 45. Seconds. Later. What'd I tell you? Not everybody in that pool can figure out that you're kinda light on AQ. Good of you to spot that though. But, as you said, F*ck-all you can do about it. The movie clip was wontedly epic. And the way it was inserted in, then disappeared into a pinpoint was equally epic.
I recently had QJ of hearts and flopped a 9-8-10 nut straight with two hearts, then I hit a flush with 2 of hearts. A 9 comes on the river and I lost to 9-8 full house 🙃, havent played in 2 weeks with no intention of going back for a little while more.
@@nelsondigital4664 that's brutal. There's gotta be a market for a lower variance version of poker. Idk what it would look like. Probably needs new cards, new hand rankings, as long as it keeps similar rules when it comes to betting. That'd be so nice
18:00 This hand intrigued me. Were you gonna 4-bet pre if ActionMan back-raised? Taking queens four ways sounds like trouble. I think maybe you should raise the flop. That's great for your range, and it knocks others out. It also forces SB to play a bit more honestly. Anyway, when you got to the river there was $2300 in the pot. And you had a dead read on her. Bet something really insulting. $300. Insulting, but also dinner for two at the Wynn. I don't think either of them is going to spot that for hyper-thin value and check/raise you.
Sometimes the only way to win is not to play. If you're off your game because you just don't feel right, don't try to stick it out, that's begging to get tilted. Listen to your body and mind, and get well first. Somedays the most precious thing you have is not bankroll but health. That's why after long stretches of overnight hospital shifts I don't get into poker games--because I would have burned my luck working 7 overnight shifts that would have tried anyone else's luck, and would be burned out afterwards, especially when patients had COVID and needed more care.
12:14 I agree that this is a mandatory B70. Probably last money unless you bink a 6. But if he really looks lost, you're prolly supposed to rip it. Now I got curious. GTOW say A5s is a 50/50 4bet/fold outa BB, off 200 BBs. On this flop, it bets 62% of the time, even split between B25 and B50. 37% check. Say you B25, CO call. Turn Ks. Ya, you s'pose bet, bruh. 75% B25 (I forget about these small sizings OP on the turn), 10% B50, 10% check, and 5.5% rip it (now *that's* spicy). I fully agree with you that once we check the turn, we're absolutely lost, and the Machine's behavior reflects that. Landon would be tsk'ing all over the place. I haven't looked yet, but I predict that the Machine rips the 6h river. I mean, WTF are you repping, homie? And when you're repping f*ck-all, but actually have it, I think that's when you can bombs away. Bwahahahahahahahahaha. Check 100 with all A5 combos. I guess on because of it thinks that CO gonna make a play for the pot. Machine-bro ain't never played lollive poker imo.
I’m pausing when you are in the 4B pot with A5 and checked the turn K. I’m taking a minute while a little part of me dies when your really strong range condensed to QQ and JJ that makes it super hard to win. Another small turn sizing is what I do here, and I’m shoving rivers. This card is so good to get all our opponents floats to fold at some point. Anyway, let’s continue to see how you get punished for this outrageous check sir
When you make a big river bet & the player tanks .. what do you look at?.. the cards?.. the wall?.. the player? I ask bc I get called when I look away but when I stare at a spot they fold.. wondering if this happens to others?
Don't get too typical I start to notice my own bluffs said I will stare at the board a lot of players would know I am bluffing so I changed and went comfortable of laughing take a drink let them tank and I am bluffing with Ace high mostly gets the job done and I show it too especially in casinos the needle.
8:13 I would called here. . What hand bets flop and then checks back on brick turn? A drawing hand! Or a middle pair, a weak top pair. Overbet river suggests a missed draw (not a value bet). AQ would've bet turn by much. So: K high straight should've taken the pot here.
You would've lost, he had the nuts. Checking doesn't mean "weak" only nut draws check turn. Overbet river is polarizing it's very "nuts" or "nothing" and it's really hard to have nothing in this configuration

Ooooooooo, Live for the moment!!!!
Great decision, great vlog
Thank you!
Was that a clip from a porno on the smack?
Not familiar with that one 😅
I don't even remember where I found that lol
@@TheDrawingDeadVlog No its from KSI's Channel. It was a clip from a community post to make weird clips of him on his greenscreen :) dont worry its nothing X-rated haha
Great episode.. I like how clearly you explained how the hand played out. 👍
Glad you liked it!
Sleep is sometimes underrated. Get some sleep big fella. No Covid head please
Good to see you with a young beautiful European woman!
Good thing you said (Play) is that something like Practicing Medicine.😂
Talk about patience … I just spent 45 sec of my life watching a suspenseful squeeze play with AK result in zero action
Uh oh! First hand the unpaired POS!
Love the vids but the musical bumpers are? annoying?
I like them and I tend to concentrate more on something I'll rewatch because trying to generate content that the "masses" will like isn't something i'm really interested in. I'd burn out and quit after about an hour of editing lol
Ojai!!
🤗 Crystal!
Normally, I try to write a snappy comment to get a heart. But, I'm not feeling it. Next time!
Jaman, I must say, in watching your vid you take drama to the next level.😅
If you play one hand in 90 minutes you deserve everyone folding to you
Only wish it was aces lol
Loosen up 🎉
How do you not win blogger of the year every year? "Prom night" is worth 3 trophies...
I'd be shocked if I ever won that...I don't play the 'networking' game
