Maaaannnn. I learned lessons thru you on this one lol thank you. The AJ hand towards the end I think id like a check raise there to about 750k-850k… if you’re gonna check call 3 streets on what look like bricks you might as well see where you’re at for about half of what you paid.. and then when you pair the 8 in BB at the end, the SB is just so wide possibly keep aggression and 3bet that to 3.5x and probably take that down. Hindsight is 20/20 but I’ve been trying to take a slightly more aggressive route lately as I’ve been seeing it work for a lot of ppl. Very nice run sir thank you for the content

I fired two bullets into that tournament… Those tourneys just go to show you, you have to run god like for 2 straight days and that still might not be enough…

hard not to be disappointed when you get that close with a reasonable edge over the field but, them's the breaks for a tournament player. to four flush free roll someone deep in tournament is the ultimate free roll though and you have to give that variance back eventually.

I think in tournament poker when you connect with the flop, it’s a must bet. Even with your AA, I would bet flop and take it down not giving my opponent a chance to pick up equity on the turn.

u have a pure range bet on ac rhigh boards and even can check raise flop 100% if u chose this line which i kinda like check raise small sizing on flop

With the AJc I think a cbet almost always prevents this suck out. Or even a small c/r to really figure out where you’re at in the hand. But of course you had him betting while way behind and just got unlucky
so that's what run good is like in tournaments. I had almost forgot. good play and good running equals a good result.
edit: I said that before the AK freeroll hand....lol

Man you should have check raised the flop with ace jack against pocket 6s I didn’t against pocket 8s today on gg poker and the punk hit a set on the turn
I think the AJ hand is a borderline fold on the turn, definitely a fold on the river. Just one of those spots that in reality no one is actually bluffing you given the positions, board, and tournament stage.

Man sent that AJcc hand into my hand group, such a tough spot , feels like a standard fold at first but he’s repping only AQ and 88 for value, but he’s repping no bluffs which makes it really hard to call
Dumb spot, probably should’ve folded though since very few people empty the clip as you said.
Results oriented I know but with the AJ clubs hand I have to wonder if you had made it say 2.5x pre and then C bet the flop (with consideration to folding to a raise?) likely would have folded the 66s on the flop. All in all though you did a great job and 8x your money beats a sharp stick in the eye anytime. You go boy!@@AndrewNeeme
