So sorry for your loss Peter! In 2015 right before New Year my dog of 16 years and my first dog in my life we had to put her down because she had advanced cancer. It took me 2 months to get back to my life. First two days after we let her go, I can't even recall what was happening in my life. Our fur babies are in better place now. Look at it this way : You gave Milo best life possible. He was taken care of, fed daily and played with and LOVED. Stay strong! Maybe with time you'll find another kitty who'd need you and your kindness. Maybe a kitty from shelter one that was rejected and not wanted but who's hoping that maybe there's a soul out there who'd take him/her to loving home and care for that kitty. Thank you for sharing

On a happier note, did you ever notice how Milo would lie on the glass counter in the wintertime? He would always lie on the side closest to the customers, in order to take advantage of the warmth from the light fixture underneath! Such a smart kitty! We will love and miss you ALWAYS, Milo!!
It’s never easy the circumstances of letting a pet go. They become an extension of us. We have a pack of 9 dogs. 9 dogs! Each one is special, unique and has their own way of letting us know they are in this world. To gain the love of an animal is so very special. God bless you guys and Milo only went home. Pete I'm so very sorry for such a great loss! But I do know sweet Milo is in heaven and no longer in pain. It's the hardest thing I've ever done was put my sweet ginger down but it's the most loving thing we can do when they are in pain. We are the one who suffer, but I pray God will give you peace and comfort for days to come. Its been 5 months since ginger and I still find myself saving food on plate for her only to remember oh why do I keep doing that it's hard. He was a loving cat and you gave him a most wonderful life!!! Hugs and blessings to you and your family

sorry for your loss. milo will be missed loved seen him in the vids. i went through almost the exact same thing a week after you posted the vid that milo was sick. one of my cats got cancer as well in his mouth. noticed he wasn't eating the pass couple days and seemed to cry out in pain at times. when i seen the growth in his mouth i knew it was cancer. vet didnt even have to do any test to confirm it. thankfully he didn't suffer for long and lived 16 years. had him since the day he was born. didn't know the cat we took in was pregnant lol.

I went through this myself several times and I know how hard it is. My last cat Teddy (17years old) I had to let go 3 Years ago, and I still miss him. My hard goes out to all of you in the team. You all gave Milo so much love and a wonderful live. He's now in a place where he no longer has pain and feels good. I hope he will meet my Teddy. I'm sure they would be best buddies. Sorry for the loss of Milo Pete, Our Cat had the same issues as Milo and we suffered through the same feelings also. I will miss seeing Milo in your videos, as we all will, but he is, like you said, not in pain anymore. Lots of love to all of you guys at the Trading Post ❤️
Love u Pete, so sorry for your loss. I have fur babies too & your right making that unselfish decision to let them go to a better place is one of the hardest ones to face. I have followed you for a very long time so I couldn't help shedding a tear for ole milo. many prayers for Milo & yourself & family. He will always be in your heart..& on the front of your store lol. Aww poor Milo! I'm so sorry for the loss. The frame with his paws is very nice. It hurts but he's not in pain where he is right now. I wasn't planning on crying tonight but I had some tears. God bless

They take a piece of our hearts with them when they go. Put my 14year old puppy down last year. It still weighs heavy.

Milo was such a sweet and special cat and he brought so much joy in our all lives and therefor will all will never forget him and he will always have a special place in our hearts. I went through this myself several times and I know how hard it is. My last cat Teddy (17years old) I had to let go 3 Years ago, and I still miss him.
My hard goes out to all of you in the team. You all gave Milo so much love and a wonderful live. He's now in a place where he no longer has pain and feels good. I hope he will meet my Teddy. I'm sure they would be best buddies.
