This was on vhs kids, wave warriors , the Ho’s, Fletchers, Lopez days. They surfed for the pure fun of it like the Kings sport was meant to be back then😊
The Bondi boardriders had a house in 90/91 and Cheyne Horan and Matt Ellks brought 15 young kids over to gain experience on the North Shore. Kawika, John Orr and the like all made them feel welcome, and they had a great month surfing all over. Matt & Cheyne already had many friends there JBG, Liam and Garret, Noah Budroe, Jason Majers, the Willis brothers, Davey Cantrell, and many more.... the Bondi boys had a tag team comp against the Hawaiians, Jonah Morgan, James Larador, and a bunch of the boys surfed against them. It was an amazing trip, thank you Hawaii....
@@oahujuniorgolfassociationc6656 Johnny, and Clem and Kawika and da boys! Loved staying up Pupukae at Gordinho's house and visiting Johnny down the road, searching thru Siver channel cow paddocks, the Hawaiin magic bruddas, what an amazing era!
Wow, I remember those days. So sad how that land was developed. Should have been bought by the state and preserved. Or maybe a developer one day will buy land and NOT build, but too many GREEDY CLOWNS.
Remember those days well. So stoked to be on that community all throughout the 90's, so much sweet times🤙🏼
