Excellent video. You should do a video showing how the optic preforms at different distances! Do you know if they can use these with an ACOG or have an adaptor with for it?
Did you upgrade the firmware to do 1 shot zeroing? Basically you use aluminum tape bits on cardboard as your target, take a shot, put aluminum tape on where the bullet went, aim at the original point of aim, then use the freeze feature to move the reticle from your original point of aim to the actual point of impact, then verify that it’s good.
Just bought one and can't wait to get it out on a hunt. Thank you Jason for answering my questions. If you want to buy a product from a company where customer service isn't dead I suggest you look no further!
How does the zeroing work ? If the day scope is zeroed do u u have to zero a separate reticle in the thermal? Also if you're have it clipped on to the scope bell do you need to re zero it every time you take it off and on ?
As far as I can tell, the cheaper standalone model cannot be placed in front of a scope. The magnification of the scope means the pixels will be too large and you won't get image quality. It appears to be collimated as based on the user manual is says it will not create a POA shift.
Not an answer....the real answer is that they can charge more because instead of selling 2 scopes they can only sell one. Because you can move them, they hit you harder so you think about buying their scopes too.
Hi. Quick question. On my (TC)35-384 I see nothing in the menu for recticle selections. I cant not find one anywhere. But in your video, you said I could buy the eye piece and the reticle is built into the eyepiece. How does that work? How would you sight it in if they are not adjustable? I must really be missing something.thanks
Could I use it on my .338 Barrett mounted with the rail? Not just a regular .338, it has a suppressor so the recoil is reduced a lot. No where does it say the max ft/lb force that these things can handle.
It’s not inline, Thermal is much higher than the centerline of the scope. What height mount does the daylight scope needs to be centerline with the thermal?
@@FeralTexasOutdoors that’s good to know, but for optimum flexibility I’m sure the two need to be at the same height. What’s the centerline height of the TC 35-384? Another wards, what should be the height of the day scope mount to be centerline inline with the thermal?
Excellent video. Got a question, I'm going to buy an adapter for my ar-10 scope but there is a warning saying The Front Q-R Adapter is not recommended for installing the Rattler TC on firearms with heavy dynamic recoil (0.308 Win or stronger).
Thanks in advance, liked and subbed. Does the clip-on version come with the picatinny mount and the scope adapter? Or, can the normal rattler be mounted in front of my rifle-scope? Can you adjust the normal rattler screen to be centered if mounted in front of a scope? Just trying to maximize the flexibility and effectiveness because it's such a big purchase.
Comes with 60mm adapter that can be adjusted down with inserts. Also the rail adapter included as well. Rattler TS35 can not be used as clip on. Clip on can be converted into dedicated with a special eyepiece.
@@edrake1989 i am guessing you don't know this weapon system he is referencing. This weapon system is known to destroy a lot of day optics with heavy recoil.
Thanks for the video. I have same clipon. And have some questions - I use it with scope with magnification 6-24x, and if I set up the smallest zoom on my scope (6x) I can see only small part of screen, and can't use it normal. Is there any solution for this case?
Can you circle back and do a thorough review, like setup and explain how you zero, return to zero, can you show footage through the day scope?
Excellent video. You should do a video showing how the optic preforms at different distances! Do you know if they can use these with an ACOG or have an adaptor with for it?
Using picatinny rail mount you can place in front of ACOG. Adjust the screen to line up in your ACOG crosshair.
Purchased the eye piece and for life of me cannot get the thing to zero, my old pulsar’s were so easy. Any pointers would be much appreciated

Can you explain why the clip on is more expensive than a standalone AGM, when the clip on appears to be equivalent minus the optical zoom?

Will it work with a scout mounted scope like a Springfield M1A Scout Squad rifle?
Not enough rail on the factory scout mount but maybe with an aftermarket rail like GG&G.

What is the expected accuracy of this TC35 as a “clip on”, at the end of your day scope?
Accuracy completely dependent on your day time optic. You adjust the screen to your day time optic zero.
