I lost my husband to alcoholism. After years of physical and mental abuse when he was young, he turned to alcohol. He died at 59 of sudden cardiac arrest. We miss him everyday. Thank you Eddie for speaking up about mental health for men and how important it is.
You gained my respect when you brought cici back from the beach but now you have earned my respect even more for your stance on a unspoken truth in society today. It's not man up it's speak up, people will listen!
I lost my brother due to substance abuse and alcohol. he had mental health issues and could not talk about the struggles he was going through.. So I truly appreciate this.
"Man up" is being a man, and being a man means being healthy. In mind and body. Men absolutely can and should ask for and get help when they need it, and share how they feel w/their partner. It is not true that women think men are weak if they ever show that they are vulnerable. We are all human beings and human beings have times when they are powerful & strong, and times when they need others to help them lift themselves out of vulnerable darkness. And that is totally ok. Communicate your needs and thoughts. Those who love you will try to be there for you. You may need to guide them how. Or you and your partner may need a pro to help guide both of you. It's ok to get a guide if you need it. Sometimes we all do. Happy Pride Month and Happy Men's Mental Health Month to all. 😍😍
How wonderful for you to talk about things that are unspeakable. Not only a good fur baby Dad, but advocate as well! Keep speaking up! Someone has to. Never ever ever be afraid to ask for help!! I think you could help make a difference my dear.
You are an inspiration. Keep speaking up as you must know you will help someone out there. Stay strong, stay positive, stay caring and just continue to love those furkids. On my worst days, my dogs can get me smiling and laughing even if for brief moments throughout the day. They are our angels!
You are one of the exceptions to the rule I applaud you for addressing this though subject I'm so happy and respectful of your long term sobriety Keep up the great work you are doing with yourself and your amazing channel I love it and your pups! Oh if course I love you too!❤
Eddie…you are as much of a treasure as both Chooch and Cici. Thanks so much for speaking about this. As someone who has a family member with severe mental health issues, and who is successfully managing them at this time, I appreciate your candor and addressing the stigma surrounding it.
Great your bringing this to the table. Social media and fetanyl are killing out society. Addiction doesn't discriminate. Congrats on sobriety and I'm glad you have your personal therapy of a routine. The gym and concourse your true therapists..chooch and cici.. So many think it's a weakness and you can control it...they may never understand but if you hit one person..that's the goal! I'm sure you did! Keep strong!!!
Thank you for speaking up. There are too many tragedies with young adult males and your video may have just saved a life. Thanks for using your platform to bring awareness to mental health. Much respect for ya! Peace 🫶
I'm so glad to discover this channel. Real advice. I'm 7 years sober, cocaine and alcohol. I have 4 cats and 1 pup and they are my world, they keep me clean. That and collecting folding knives and firearms.
You are such a good man! Look @ those two babies in your arms, their love and affection for you is palpable! May continue blessing your whole family always 🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Started following you for the cool doggos 🐶but ended up staying for all the advice on mental health. Congrats on your sobriety my man each day is a blessing. 🙏💪
Congratulations Eddie!!! Thank you for posting this it's so important. My hubby's a substance abuse counselor and he really appreciates it. ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!! 💪🏽 🎉🥉
Your words are true, I hope they will be heard by someone who needs them. Your dogs are a big part of your happiness , maybe those hurting people will pickup on that and rescue a baby who will help them.
Thank you for this. I'm private about a lot of things, but NOT my mental health journey. I will tell anyone and everyone about my diagnosis, very dark times, and the times I needed help to see light again. Every feeling is transient. Your mood will shift, the sadness will go away, nothing is permanent. Feel your feelings and never stop looking/talking/asking for help. You're worth all the work it takes to feel normal, and loved.💜
I suffer from mental health. I just received my T-shirt from Til Valhalla for mental health. The back says... DON'T LET THE BAD DAYS WIN!! I wear it all of the time. I receive a lot of compliments. When the bad days are here, they're very dark. I do talk to my therapist. We will win

I wear it all of the time. I receive a lot of compliments. When the bad days are here, they're very dark. I do talk to my therapist.
We will win
AND YOU WILL! Thanks so much for sharing!
