The movie was okay. Would have loved some real Amy pics or shorts in it. Of her singing! More Songs and not SUCH an abrupt end of the movie. On the end credits pics and Songs of Real Amy would have been great!
Give the film a chance,its very well crafted and acted ,I am a big Amy fan and most fans who see it agree ,stop listening what the press keep saying .Like Amy said Manners dont cost nutin.Back then she kept a lot of paps familys fed. Amy Jade R.I.P

I'm a nurse. I worked in Hospice for 10 years. I've witnessed the acute divide in families during such a hard time. So the response by all people that loved Amy isn't unexpected.
I'm going to see the movie on opening day. I'm bringing tissues.

I watched it, I didn’t like how they put such a huge emphasis on her grief and conflicts. She was such a funny person and they sadly didn’t capture that too well. Another issue is costumes. They barely show the colorful iconic outfits she wore. The reds, yellows, pinks, teal and her most iconic yellow peplum yellow dress with red hoops were all skipped. They only recreated dark colored dresses in performances. Overall it was mid, but making this a movie and not a series was a huge error. If they really wanted to touch on sensitive topics they should’ve done a series not a movie. An icon’s darkest moments shouldn’t outweigh their light, and sadly that’s what this movie does.
I saw the film last night. I thought that it was brilliant. The actors did a great job.

@@Dylanfan24 I want to watch the movie on my birthday however the problem is, is that my Friend but my friends doesn’t like watching movies with nudity on it bc she’s religious, so when you say it’s not that Sleazy what do you mean? Like does it show it like constantly?

it was so good, however it did feel rushed.
It could feel rushed, or you can think of it as how quick her career and life came and gone. She was only famous for a short amount of time, at that time of her being alive. Obviously now she’s one of the most beloved human beings ever. But yeah.

If you guys like the actress and feel she gave her best Amy impression and did a good job that's great and maybe you're right once again i didn't see the movie I'm going off of the trailer. As for me i wouldn't leave my house and pay to see it. I might watch it when it streams one day when there's nothing else to watch and may end up loving it and then again maybe not. In the end this is just my opinion.

Hey I'm not if you guys know what an opinion is but the comment i made was mine and it was based it on the trailer they put out me personally as in myself wasn't feeling it I as in myself don't agree I felt based on the trailer that she wasn't a good fit i didn't like her facial expressions and it just didn't appeal to me .I may or may not watch this movie strictly based off of the trailer and my as in myself and my opinion. That in no way means anyone else should feel how i feel. This is my opinion. Thank you

That's hilarious that the director has the nerve to act like the people who lived it don't have a say LOL It was also obvious that they went with just the first person that they saw.. I knew when I first saw it they didn't take the time to find somebody who actually could embody Amy and who could have actually done her Justice.. But also the writing was horrible so there you go
